Celebrate the new experiences and feelings that each kind of day brings to our lives in this delightful picture book.
There are 365 days in a year. But no two days are the same. Some days go by in a wink, some days bring great surprises—or great disappointments—and some days make you “This is the best day ever!”
I’m Daniela Sosa, author/illustrator originally from Romania and currently based in Cambridge, UK. I am a graduate of the Children’s Book Illustrations MA course at the Cambridge School of Art.
My main focus is children’s books, but I also enjoy doing other types of illustration work. In my work I like to blend traditional techniques with digital editing. I enjoy working with textures, collage, pencils and limited colour palettes.
When I’m not illustrating, I enjoy nature walks, reading and crafty projects.

This book gave me all the feels too. A feel good book that serves to be a gentle reminder. Good days, bad days, sad days, happy days. All days we should embrace with hope that things can only get better.
I received a complimentary copy of the ebook. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
I knew I was going to enjoy this story based on the end papers alone! Sosa has crafted this story with simply wonderful illustrations that encourage a second (and third) look to absorb all the details. Quick text on each page discuss a wide variety of topics relating to time, feelings, changes for preschool aged kiddos. I actually went back and counted that this was a standard 34-page children's book because it felt like it was longer as the subject matter is expansive. I enjoyed it!
*Review of a much appreciated advance copy received from Netgalley*
How is it that even though there are 365 days in a year, not a single day is the same? Happy days, sad days, exciting days, boring days, and all the other days in between are each unique. As much as a child is able to do so, I think Some Days is a great way to help them conceptualize days and time as a whole.
This is a tender, beautiful book with illustrations that are bright, engaging, and so, so relatable. Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing me with a free eARC in exchange for an honest review.
This beautifully illustrated picture book introduces the concept of a day to very young children, helping them understand the passage of time and the way that a day can contain their experiences, whether good or bad. This is a nice mindfulness and awareness book for parents and kids to enjoy together, and it offers lots of potential for sparking meaningful conversations.
I received a temporary digital copy from NetGalley, and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Some Days is a sweetly illustrated children’s book about all the different ways our days can go. It covers a wide range of possibilities and opens up so many opportunities for conversations. I read it to my three year old before bed and we had a great talk about her day when we were done.
This was a nice to book to reflect upon. Remarkable illustrations. It discusses the different types of days. Some are good, some are harder. A nice reminder that if the day is hard, easier days are coming.Highly recommend.
I was blessed with an ARC. Thank you, NetGalley. The opinions expressed are my own and unbiased.
Thank you #NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC read of this children’s book in return for my honest review and opinion.
Cute children’s story about how days seem the same yet they are different. Some good some bad. Some that almost feel like yesterday but have differences.
This book makes a great point about life. It's philosophical, nostalgic, and has the potential to become a classic like Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day.
Thank you S&S and Netgalley for the advanced digital review copy.
