Please Don't Stop!
I know that all good things must come to an end but why? Why did this book have to end?! I could've happily read another hundred or five of Gemma's adventures. They were incredibly enticing, very alluring, and holy hotness! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Gemma and Jasper started tentatively exploring the swinger lifestyle but a work event has them expanding the parameters of their exploration. Couple that with a new, dirty book club and you have the makings for some fantasticly amazing times!
Thankfully, this is the beginning of a new series with many familiar faces from prior Anna Ellis books making an appearance.
I cannot WAIT to see what Emmy's story brings!

Lately, I've been (re)visiting Anna's work. There are so many things that I love about the characters she writes. They are flawed. They are relatable. They are realistic, even if some of their situations seem just a bit outside the realm of (my) possibility. Gemma's story is another example of that.
Yes, I've read this before, but it was more than a thousand books ago, so I did forget a few things including how much I respect the relationship Gemma and Jasper continue to build as they adjust to the changes happening around and with them.
This is a single POV, but I really wish we had an on-screen look at some of Jasper's Latvia fun. Yeah... that. 🛠🔥

Sign me up for this book club.....so much pleasure!
Gemma is the first book in the new Fantasies Book Club series. This story is all about a much more deliciously dirty smexy book club with four women and one man. Each book in the series is about one of the members. This story is about Gemma and her husband Jasper. They have a wonderful, loving and very satisfying marriage, with some swinging fun included. But when Jasper has to go overseas for 6 months they decide to have a more open marriage during this time. This story is about Gemma learning to take control of her own pleasure, as long as Jasper is not excluded. Let's just say it gives a whole new meaning to "phone sex".
I really enjoyed this first book in the series and can't wait to find out what happens next with Emmy.

This book is about the beginnings of the Fantasies Book Club, and turns into much more! Gemma and Jasper are happily married and their relationship is solid. They get an invitation to a special party that intrigues them. It’s a hot and fantasy-filled journey for all of them. The cast of characters are fun and adventurous. And it’s always great to revisit characters from other books too. But, it does end on a cliff-hanger. SO with a little bit of jealousy thrown into the the mix, book 2 focusing on Emmy should be a good read too. I give this book four and a quarter swinging stars.

This book club is not for the timid, but our heroine is going to make the best of things. So many possibilities.
This is book one of the series, so no worries there.
This is novella length erotic story featuring partner swapping. As with everything else I have read by the author, the story is well written, easy to read and very steamy. The characters are also well developed and realistic, which makes the entire scene come together. The plot is easy to follow and I loved watching the chemistry build between our characters all the way to the steamy conclusion. Overall, a very enjoyable read and I look forward to the next book in the series.

This book has me hooked to this new series. Gemma and Jasper have a great marriage and have dabbled into swinging a bit. Now there is a new book club where four women and one man deal with more dirty romance books than the standard ones. When Jasper has to be gone for a while for work, they decide to be a little more open but keep each other in the loop. Loved the characters and situations as they feel so real, like your best friend is telling you about their good times. The ending was terrific. Can not wait for the next book.

I really, really liked this story.....until the end. The author failed to resolve the issue of Gemma's husband returning from Europe, she (the author) never returned to develop Grocery Man, leaving him hanging (pun intended), and in general left too much unfinished. Just fell off a cliff. What was there was well-written and hot, but I am disappointed that so many characters' stories were left underdeveloped.

I’m reading this book as the start of a follow-on series from Husbands and Wives, which I really liked. I enjoyed this story, and it picked up speed at the end, but I found the start confusing. There were references to previous escapades and characters that weren’t filled out and the introductions to the 4 other characters in the Book Club were scant. It kept me wondering what I had missed.
I’m thinking this book is just the start of Gemma’s story. I’m hoping if I read on that Gemma’s adventures will be filled out. Gemma’s tale was moving pretty quickly at the end, but didn’t really conclude. And it didn’t bring husband Jasper back into the picture.
In the previous series, Husbands and Wives, the full series was Jacey’s story. There was a collection of short stories (Interludes: The Collection) that provided more insight to the other characters in the story. I’m wondering if there will be a similar set of short stories to fill in the “other” characters that aren’t part of The Book Club (eg. Jasper, Emma’s husband and his exploits is Latvia)?
I really like this author, and this book is a good start. The full series is available in one book. I think I’ll continue with the series by buying it.

When Gemma and her friends decided to start there own book club, it opened a new world for Gemma and her husband marriage. Gemma and Jasper had a strong marriage, for her he had been the only one, for him his experience was limited, when they started experiment at key parties things happen.
Soon after their Jasper had to leave the country for work and suggest they have an open marriage, with them being open discussion of what they did. During this time Gemma and Jasper begin to learn some about themselves.
This is the first book in a host and steam book that will have you melting in your seat. There were parts in book that make me want to smack Jasper upside his head, but over all a good story to get lost in.

I really enjoyed this very dirty book. Gemma and her husband Jasper have a very happy marriage. It is time for him to go overseas for awhile and they decide to have a more open relationship during this time. Gemma wants to make sure that Jasper is still involved in things though. She has wild romps with him on the phone and even enjoys some very steamy phone sex. This series is about four women and one man who are part of a book romance book loving group and start to move into more sexy and dirty books and the things that go along with that ride. I can't wait to read the next stories as well!

It was fun reading about Gemma and to get to know her better. When her husband leaves to work in Latvia for 6 months, they are both living an open marriage and watching Gemma opening up and getting more adventurous was cool. Now I'm looking forward to reading about Emmy next!

This was my first book by Anna Ellis and I will absolutely read more, this was exciting and hot. It was nice to read about couples going through everyday question in their relationship.

I absolutely love this hot, steamy, captivating book with exceptional characters in an erotic world that is so realistic it felt like I was on the journey with them. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author that knows how to captivate the attention of their readers.

Sure is sweet and sexy
Very interesting introduction especially since Gemma had already opened her wings in the bed and breakfast series. The story quickly builds to the point where I just wanted to read it all in one sitting. Anna Ellis certainly is entertaining. I wonder where she gets her ideas? Would love to talk to her and see how much of these characters come from her imagination or her life?

A definite four, not quite a Five.
A simple but interesting story with appealing characters. Some hot sex thrown in the mix. Needs more angst, but definitely worth a read.
