The book goes through how career growth was back in the Industrial Age and how it’s changed now due to the growth of AI. I like how they framed the question as “what shouldn’t be human work anymore” rather than “what can AI do” because as someone who is still skeptical of how AI will affect the job landscape, thinking about how we can use AI as a tool rather than a replacement is comforting. I am not sure if some of these ideas are a bit too far fetched (ex. using AI to build a “flat” team rather than a hierarchical one), but maybe I’m still cautious of how the future will play out.
