Possessive Small Town Alpha Kings #35

Knocked Up, Rejected and Runaway Mate of the Billionaire Lycan King: A Rejected Mate Secret Baby Shifter Romance

Rate this book
I got pregnant by the Billionaire Lycan King-
then he forced me to marry him.
Then he rejected me- so I ran away with his pups.
My landlord is Niklaus Thorn- billionaire Lycan King and the most feared alpha in the country.
I've never met him until my vibrator gets delivered to his penthouse by mistake.

He shows up at my door with it. "Why settle for toys, little wolf?"

Before I can die of humiliation, he offers a deal. He needs a temporary wife.
I need to not lose everything over this disaster.

One signature later, he's marked me, claimed me, wrecked me.
I'm also secretly pregnant- perfect timing for when he publicly rejects me,
and says I'm "unworthy of being his queen" three weeks later.

So I run with his twins and disappear.

A year later, he finds me. He meets our babies that have his eyes, and wants to apologize.

But I won't let him win. I'll die before I let him break me again.

Niklaus

A delivery mistake led me to her. One scent and my wolf claimed her.
I leveraged her embarrassment into the marriage I needed. One night, then done.

But I marked her. My enemies noticed. Rejecting her publicly was the only way to keep her alive.
For a year, I've searched. When I find her, she's holding two pups with my eyes.

"When were you planning to tell me?"
She pulls them close. "Never."

Wrong answer. She's mine. They're mine. And I'm not losing them twice.

A lot more inner dialogue than other stories from this author. Broken bonds that 'can't' be repaired after bring back together while most others the bond can heal and repair if they actually mate fully, but this one nothing. I didn't feel any 'love' or connection happening with Alana Roseblood and Niklaus Cross at anywhere in this story. Also after the year separation after Alana needs to move back to Seattle due to her one daughter's tragic illness the story is all over the place. I finished it finally but this wasn't the best I've read.
