sorry i just didn't relate to a fair bit of these, there was a lot of motherhood mentions (i don't care for children nor becoming a mother), the poems were overwhelmingly positive (like not a single mention of struggles within womanhood) then there are modern mentions like covid and smartphones and stuff idk i just don't think i'm the target audience for this
it was well written for sure, i just personally think this would've worked better as like a memoir or something

I haven’t read a book of poetry from cover to cover in years, maybe decades. However, the details about the book drew me in and I knew this book had the potential to be fantastic (spoiler alert, it was!) I started reading this book a few months ago and slowly made my way through it on purpose, to soak it in and truly take the time to enjoy the poetry.

I’m incredibly glad I read this book and immediately purchased a few copies for close friends to be accompanied with a thoughtful note. If you’re looking for something a little different, this is a great one to consider.
