The story starts with Zeus or Zee as he is known who is fed up of his life unable to find anything of interest anymore. After finishing the tour with his band he heads for Purgatory, hoping that his friend Aphrodite might be able to offer some help. Heading to the DeLux Cafe, he finds the speed dating night is to start and Aphrodite sits him down. Also there is Jade a dragon shifter princess who is trying to find her true love. She is lined up to be mated to a dragon in order that she can produce a future dragon queen. She is not happy about this at all and is trying to break free of her mother's determination to stick with the old fashioned tradition. She notices a scowly handsome man sitting down, Zee, glad that he is not sitting in front of her. The evening progresses and it appears that none of them have found anyone of interest until he sits down in front of her and there is a definite spark between them. At the end she sees him chatting to a wolf shifter and she decides he wasn't interested after all so she rushes off. Realising she has left, he rushes off to catch up with her. He has to do some sweet talking to reassure her that he is interested in her. This is the start of their hot, steamy romance. But as with all love stories the road to their HEA often does not go smoothly. As things progress an off-hand remark sees Jade fleeing from him. He tries to follow but she disappears and he can't find her even with his powers. He is distraught and goes back to Aphrodite for advice, she is furious at him and he ends up getting very drunk and passing out. When he comes too Lucifer is telling him to get his act together and to stop the rain that he has created because he is so sad. A small vampire bat arrives saying she is Jade's best friend and explains the predicament that she is in and that he is her only hope - but will he get there in time? Will they get their HEA? Read it and find out. It's a great well-written story about two soul-mates battling tradition and trying to find a future together.

It takes a daring creative to tackle a character like the king of the Greek Gods. Zeus is so remarkably famous for so many things, and has been iterated so many times, that digging deep for that "new angle" can be a failing quest.
But Fiona Starr has done just the opposite.
In Ms. Starr's newest installment into the "Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld" series, Zeus--"Zee" to his friends and loved ones--is an electric and charismatic rock star known for raining actual lightning bolt finales onto his concert stage. But the roar of the crowd has grown old, and the ruler is feeling more than restless for something new. He's lonely, empty, lost--all aspects that written so beautifully in this book.
Zee meets, and connects with, the beautiful Jade in a chance encounter at the DeLux speed dating event--but his one-night love cannot be his forever mate due to an incredible (and highly unique) back story that ripped at my heart and really had me turning pages as fast as I could. This was a situation where I KNEW everything would be okay but I was still terrified it wouldn't. Yes, this author is THAT freaking good at her craft.
The craft of this book was truly so terrific, but so were the emotions, intensity, and masterful storytelling abilities. I'm definitely a new fan of Fiona Starr.

Zeus and Jade are perfect for each other. Jade is sweet and just wants a life away from what the Dragons want from her, she does not expect to find love. I absolutely loved when Zee revealed himself as Zeus. He has an angel chorus, just perfect. I also enjoyed when they got to fly together. Zeus knows Jade is his love, he is willing to fight for Jade and he would not let anyone get in the way of their happiness. The time they spend together is perfect, but overall the story is intense ,drawing you in further. I highly recommend you read this engaging quick read. OMG!!

I want more & more & more....

This story... I was certainly thinking it was not worth reading at all.... Holy Cow was I surprised to the max!!
Zee & Jade's relationship was so full on, it was the most enjoyable story I have read in the last few weeks. They were certainly made for each other & I want to start from book #1 & read all the rest asap!!

I haven't known of Fiona the author at all & I do hope that there is more like this story out there from this author cus this book was amazing beyond belief...

Loved reading this story that's about Zeus and Princess Jade. I loved how Fiona Starr made Zeus/Zee a rockstar with adoring fans who has become jaded and feels something is missing, and Jade a dragon shifter has "Mommy Issues" who wants her to honor the traditions of breeding a possible future Queen. Both disillusioned and wanting to be loved they go to the DeLux Café and meet in the speed dating event. What occurs is a delightful enjoyable story that entranced me. I volunteer to read and review this copy I'd received.

Zeus lives as a rockstar named Zee and has toured the world but he feels like something is missing. Jade is a princess of the dragon shifters who has an overbearing mother. When Zeus and Jade meet at a speed dating event things take a forever love change. This is a fun take on Zeus and I loved the characters, the drama, the humor, and the steamy romance. This is a great addition to the Speed Dating With the Denizens of the Underworld series and I look forward to reading the rest of this entertaining series. This is an amazing series. Zues, God from Olympus, has been feeling like he's missing something and hasn't felt right in a long time. Jade is a dragon shifter of the royal family. Not wanting to fulfill her duty but to find love on her own. Speed dating with the Denizens of the Underworld is a awesome series. Fiona Starr did an awesome job with this book, I loved it!! I can't wait to see what you have in store next. Such an eclectic string of characters is what makes this serious oh so good!.

This was another great read for this series! Highly recommend it. Zeus or rather Zee is tired of the long days and nights touring with the band and is ready to find love. Jade is not ready to be locked into a loveless broodmare situation to potentially produce the next dragon queen. Both end up at Club DeLux for the speed dating event and sparks literally fly when they touch hands. Can these two make it work when there’s so much expectations on them.

This is another great story of Speed Dating of the Denizens of the Underworld. It's a fast-paced, sweet story. Zeus is a God of Rock and Roll but feels like he's missing something in his life. Jade is a dragon shifter who wants to find love on her own. She ends up going to Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld. These two are a great couple, and Zeus will make sure no one interferes with their happiness. I enjoyed this story but I don't just recommend this story but the whole series.

Zeus is feeling restless and unfulfilled nothing completely satisfies him. He wants more but is unsure how to go about it. Jade is destined to be a broodmare for her dragon clan. No matter how much Jade ties to convince her mother the queen to let her choose her who mate and life. In a last ditch attempt to make her own choice Jade joins Aphrodites speed dating. Zeus unknowingly also joins in on the same night. Lighting practically strikes everyone when these two touch, sparks can almost be seen.

This is book 27 in the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld world starring Princess Jade and Zeus. okay so Jade’s mother is never winning mother of the year award, but I want to know what do these two do to stop her. This book is full of emotions and dreams coming true or should I say prayers to the gods. What a great opposites attract love story.

Zeus tours the we orld as a rock star these days. He goes to a speed dating event and meets Jade. Jade iis a princess of the dragon shifters. Her mother wants her to marry the tradional way. When her and Zesus meets, everything changes for them as they fall in love. Drama filled steamy romance. I enjoyed this book.

I have read a lot of the books in this series and this was definitely one of my favorites. Zeus was bored with his life and Priness Jade was a dragon shifter who is trying to escape from her world. This book was steamy, action-packed, and had a story that was very easy to follow. A short read but a great one!

Nothing quite like an overbearing mother to send a daughter running. Jade wants true love not what her mother wants. She meets Zee and they just click. He is just as taken with her as she is with him. Intense and steamy with a wonderful HEA. I Loved It All!!! No Spoilers!.

This is a fun read. I loved this take on Zeus, a witty modern view that works really well. Of course, who could be a perfect mate for the God? Jade is a great character, and I loved that they were both honest from the beginning, and assumed there would be minimal drama. Wrong again! Well written, tons of a fun and a wonderful addition to the series.

M absolutely loving this series with all of these gods and goddesses who find their mates at the DeLux Cafe and this is Zeus’s story he’s a rock god and he isn’t finding pleasure in the screaming fans or anything anymore so he goes to the cafe and finds his mate Jade. This story has everything you need plus it’s hilarious and I love that in a story and I highly recommend this book.

This is such a fun series taking classic mythology to a new level. In attempt to have a choice in her own fate Jade flees to Purgatory and Aphrodite's cafe to try her luck at love. Sexy, fun, and suspenseful my favorite part was the scene in Z's place in Purgatory. His tattoo methods were cool too.

Zeus is a rock star going by Zee for now, but missing a spark in life. Jade is a princess with an unwanted future and hoping for something more. These two run into each other at the Speed Dating event and interest flares. I really enjoyed this, and the different take on Zeus.
