Sleigh Bells in Park City – book 1 Snowfall in Park City – book 2 Mistletoe in Park City – book 3 Midnight in Park City – book 4
Hope Holloway and Cecelia Scott have teamed up again to bring us a heartwarming family Christmas story with all the feels. This is the first of four books about the Snowberry Lodge and the Starling family, and it promises to be an excellent series! Their books always keep me captivated and ready for more!
Co-written by Hope Holloway and Cecelia Scott, Sleigh Bells in Park City takes readers to the mountains of Utah with the first book in what looks to be another heart-tugging holiday quartet. These authors always bring the feels and there are plenty of them in this heartwarming story. I laughed, shed a few tears, laughed some more, and fell in love with each member of this close-knit family...all four generations...and the horse. How could I not fall in love with Copper?
If this book doesn't have you wanting to hit the slopes (it's the bunny hill for me), take a ride through the snow in a horse-drawn sleigh (preferably under a starlit sky), cheer on a long overdue second chance romance, indulge in the baked delights at Sugarfall Bakery, sip hot cocoa by a roaring fire, and watch an endless loop of hilarious grumpy Santa videos courtesy of the youngest and oldest members of the Snowberry Lodge family, then are you even paying attention? I'm ready for all that and more. Luckily, I don't have to wait long. The four books in this series will all be published over the next two months with the fourth and final book dropping on Christmas Eve. What a wonderful Merry Christmas to me treat.
This was a lovely holiday story with wonderful characters and a delightful location. I look forward to Reading the next book in the series.

WOW!!! If you want an absolutely wonderful Christmas story of family love and redemption, Sleigh Bells in Park City is it!! In a three generation family inn that is having tough times, this family works together to find ways to stay together on the land they all love. To begin with each person in the family comes up with their own way to save the inn and Christmas. What they found was working together through their grief and memories, they found the answer was faith, hope and love. Just what everyone wants all year comes together at Christmas in this awesome book written by two excellent authors, Hope Holloway & Cecelia Scott. I couldn't put it down, you won't either!
Sleigh Bells in Park City is a cozy holiday read about a family that runs Snowberry Lodge. It's a day in the life of the family members and each want to contribute to helping the lodge. With competing hotels nearby, they are trying to find ways to attract visitors. You learn more about the family, what they are going through, and their dynamic with some heartwarming moments.
The book is short and pretty well written. I find that it's not for me. There isn't much going on and found the drama to be pretty light. I didn't connect with any of the characters either. I just thought this was an okay read for me. I really did enjoy the narrator though, she is amazing.
Thank you Podium Entertainment for sending an ALC. My opinions are my own.
I absolutely loved the family Christmas story! The lodge, the skiing, the gentle second chance romance, the large, close family - all of it. I loved this duo's The Asheville Christmas Cabin series a few years ago as well, and am excited to read this series straight through this Christmas. This is just a super cozy, happy story - no real drama, no bedroom scenes, mature characters.
Sleigh Bells in Park City is the first book in a new series by Hope Holloway and Cecelia Scott. It is a heartwarming story about two sisters, their families, and their struggle to keep Snowberry Lodge afloat, counting on the Christmas season to be their best, yet. There is wisdom and warmth throughout, some sage advice from the patriarch, Red, hilarious antics from the youngest, Benny, and the emotional feels we always get when we read books from these two authors. I am already looking forward to book two in this four book series.
I have to say another great start to a new series. I have to say that trusting can be so hard. There was on character that made me go what is he really up to. I felt like his character came off as one of the spams that so often reach email and text messages or phone calls. Only this one was doing it in person. I was happy to see that my instincts were right.
I am looking forward to the next book and seeing where the family adventures lead to. I have to say a few parts in book one made me want to cry. So we will see if that happens in book 2.
I usually don’t love single narration audiobooks but I decided to give this one a try to get into the Christmas spirit and I was pleasantly surprised! Leslie Howard does a fantastic job.
This is a story of second chances, love lost and found, and new beginnings. It’s never too late to go home for the holidays. 🎄
This is book 1 of the Christmas in the Canyon series following the Starling family. If your looking for a cozy Christmas listen, I would highly suggest Sleigh Bells in Park City.
A delightful Christmas read, part of a four book series. Two sisters must save their family lodge in Park City Utah. Times have changed, the competition from the big hotels with their fancy restaurants and spas has dimmed the chances of meeting a huge tax bill with scant reservations at the lodge. Enter creative ideas from a precocious 10 year old,a loving but grumpy Santa aka great grandpa,a mysterious possible investor and an old love rekindling. A quick enjoyable read for the holiday season,I fell in love with each character and their story.
Sleigh Bells in Park City by Hope Holloway and Cecelia Scott ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Welcome to Park City Utah where Hope and Cecilia's new holiday series takes place. This is just the beginning, book 1 of 4. And if you're like me waiting for the next book is the hardest part but this series is definitely worth waiting for. Each book will bring a new adventure.
Heat up your hot chocolate with marshmallows and get comfy as we take a sleigh ride through the snow, in this book I.
I love these two authors alone but they are creating holiday magic when they team up. For the last few years they have been bringing us family sagas with a ton of heart.
This year is no exception as we meet the Starling family, and Snowberry lodge. The first in a four book series taking place in the mountains of Utah. With a Hallmark card feel, and a story that has so much promise, I am ready for book two.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
This was a fun and cute second chance romance with little to no spice, which is weird for me, but it was a nice holiday story for sure! A family lodge is struggling to survive the season and in a turn of events things start to look up with a little help from Cindy’s ex husband Jack….after being divorced for 10 years, can they make it work. There were some twists and turns and the narration was great. Definitely acute warm and fuzzy feeling seasonal read.
The Kessler family's lodge as lots of family owned businesses and farms are finding it hard to fight corporate giants. But they don't give up and face the giant with a sleight and a cell phone!
A delightful story of a family bonded by love and loyalty to their heritage. Looking forward to the following stories, will Benny get a new friend, a fuzzy puppy? Will MJ find happiness again? See you later Park City!
While I’m a huge fan of the authors, I definitely prefer the beach settings. BUT as I started reading this book, my heart grew a couple of sizes and I found myself enjoying a holiday story just as much as the beach stories. The warmth and love and family and all the feels was just as amazing as all of the other authors’ book series. I am already hooked on Christmas in the Canyons!
Sleigh Bells in Park City What a delightful Christmas story co-authored by two wonderful authors. The adorable little boy, grumpy Santa, and all the sights and smells of Christmas all wrapped up in a beautiful story. Plus some added romance all make you wishing for the story in the series to be released soon.
Another light fluffy read from Hope Holloway. I probably didn’t enjoy this one as much as others because I’m not a ski person. I don’t have a huge affinity for that scene, so I don’t think I got as much out of some of her references. I am looking forward to getting some more character depth out of the next books now that we know how everyone is.
I just finished listening to Sleigh Bells in Park City by Hope Holloway & Cecelia Scott, and really enjoyed it! This charming Christmas romance is the first book in the Christmas in the Canyons series, but be warned: it's not a standalone. The story wraps up with plenty of plot holes, leaving room for the rest of the series.
The book follows Cindy and Jack Kessler's second chance romance, with multiple POVs and a cast of lovable characters. The audio narration by Leslie Howard was lovely, but I think a full cast would have added an extra layer of magic.
If you're looking for a cozy holiday series with closed-door romance and don't mind committing to multiple books, you might enjoy Sleigh Bells in Park City. However, if you're looking for a self-contained story, you might want to look elsewhere.
This was the most wholesome Christmas audiobook! Felt like I was listening to a hallmark Christmas movie: 🥹😍😍
Filled with the bond of a tight knit family, Christmas traditions & second chances! The narrators really brought this story to life - I’m not sure I would have enjoyed it as much reading the physical book - the audio was ✨MAGICAL✨
Well done Ladies, this is the kind of book you can’t wait to read and don’t want to end. It grabbed me from the first sleigh ride through the ‘tech genius’ and grumpy Santa social media influencer. Thank you for the ARC copy.
Another great beginning of a series by Hope Holloway and Cecelia Scott. It has all the feels and family devotion of their other series, just with snow and Christmas in this one. I'm definitely ready for the next in the series.
“Sleigh Bells in Park City”, was full of fun, friendships, family and all sorts of love. It was fast paced with some unexpected twists and turns. A great Christmas romance and full of happiness. Now on to the next installment!
Great read, not a skier, could want to try it now after this read. Characters we're a hoot! And it sounds like a great place to Vacation to. Enjoy this read.
A great family drama and second chance romance. The characters are likeable, A little sneaky that turn out to be wonderful surprises and devoted to family. I hope you enjoy this charming story. Happy Holiday reading.
Another wonderful Story! As the tears are falling . All I can think about is book two. You both are Amazing writers and I can't wait to read the next. Thank you for letting me join in on the excitement
A new holiday series by two of my favorite authors Hope Holloway and Cecilia Scott. Definitely won't make a skier of me, sleigh rides sure, but I would stay and read all day in the wonderful inn!
