First let me start by saying that the author is a friend of mine on goodreads, but neither asked me to write a review or gave me a copy, so as usual I will give you my impressions of the book.
Its hot, sexy and steamy all the way through. I like the premise of the book. There isn't time to delve deeply into the many characters to really understand them but that really isn't what the book is about. The story comes from the adult movie series and that is what you get in this book. There is more dialogue than a porno movie but still lots and lots of girl on girl action. Take this book for what it is, for me it was a fun, rainy day, stay in bed book that left me very satisfied :-p
I will at some point pick up the next chapters but off to something else for now.

I really had a hard time reviewing this story. First let me say that the sex is super steamy and hot and I always love the idea of a "club" in this sense. Secondly, I also hate the idea of a "club" like this as it promotes cheating. I knew going into this that Cherry owned a sex club but I was really hoping there wouldn't be references to cheating (I'm not naive, I know that cheating would be abundant in this super privacy oriented place, I just prefer not to read about people cheating). Now, there wasn't a lot but there are specifically three women characters we read from that are all really super cool with cheating on their husbands at Cherry's club. It "helps their marriage", nope, don't buy that.
BUT! The actual eroticism of the story, and the sex itself, was right on par. I loved reading from Cherry's POV and getting to know her super crazy sky high libido! Holy moly, anyone with that kind of libido would NEED to own a sex club. I definitely want to read more about Winter though. I like her character and am excited to see how she does at the club.
I will say there were A LOT of POVs for such a short story and I had a hard time keeping up with all of them. This probably would've been easier if this had been released as a book rather than in three novellas. By the time I started on the 2nd one I had to re-remember all the characters and what we'd been told about them.
I would recommend this story to those that enjoy f/f erotica, as well as sex-club scenes. If you have a hard time reading about people cheating, or having multiple partners at different times, then this might be a little harder for you to read.

WOW! This was an extremely hot story. I hope this is just the first in a long series. I know there is at least one more book and I will be reading that very soon.

This lesbian story will fully satisfy any audiences who just want to have a fun and lustful ride in the World of Cherry. So if you are looking mainly for an erotica as the focus, this it is, look no further.
But, I wouldn’t really recommend the book for anyone who’s looking for a solid romance. There will be a romance, I was assured of that, but it will not be there in this first book.
I haven’t see that much positivity in the characters for now with the exception of Winterlynn whom happened to catch my interest as soon as I first know about her financial situation that led her to work at Cherry’s establishment. However, I doubt she is gonna have that many important parts later on in the next book. Cherry caught my interest as well. The author was giving a lot of hints about her past. She is being portrayed as someone who’s no longer meddle in any romantic activity and a mysterious past- won’t this give the readers quite an excitement to see the one that can’t be tame to actually be tamed by the most unexpected person? (I think this will give the reader an incentive to move on to the second book).
As for Harlow, so far, I haven’t taken a liking to her since she comes off as someone who’s a little bit insecure and jealous. But! Isn’t that a common characteristic for someone who is in love? It might actually be a good thing. She was one of the only character to show some kind of romantic emotion other than just shallow lust, and that sparked my interest.
Kay Brandt also introduced a lot more other characters. The first book is too short for me to fully judge every character’s personalities, storyline, and potential love interest. There are too many character’s perspectives jumping back and forth- making the whole thing to be a bit random.
Overall, it was not a bad read. Unfortunately, it might not be my cup of tea. This story has potential to be expand more, I might be seeing that in the next book if I decided to continue on.
PS: As a side note, I believe that having sex with other people while being married is considered cheating (it doesn’t matter if the person they’re having sex with is the same gender as them). What isn’t cheating is that the person and their spouse had already agree beforehand to have an affair with someone else. Now, that’s polyamorous.
This particular note was inspired by Marina’s situation in this story.

I am won over by this book and definitely want to see the movie now! Just bought the next book and I can't wait to read it along with the rest of the series. This book was such an easy and exciting read.
I can't say enough about the sex, WOW! Very hot and if you are looking for lesbian sex and drama this is the book for you.
You can find a favorite character in this book no matter who you are. There are so many personalities all wrapped up in this story that there is something for everybody. Innocent first timers Winterlynn or Allison, experienced dancers Nixie or Eternity, regular party girls Kimberly and Avery, or even butch Dusty or strong club owner Cherry. From Winterlynn's first audition with Cherry to Allison's very naughty 18th birthday gift, I was hooked. We even get a hot scene of play between Cherry's two gorgeous live-in girlfriends.
I really enjoyed getting to know all the characters, the author made it feel like they were real people just like you and me. She did a great job bringing me in and making me want to be part of the story.
This is my new favorite erotica right now!!!!!

I have watched the award winning movie "Cherry",which drew me to read this book.Kay brings the on screen passion of the movie into her book,with more explicit detail.

It was short, hot , steamy and crass like good erotica. I like the idea of a high end "women's club" and the freedom to do expand your proclivities in safety. I did not, however, find myself enjoying the characters. All, including Cherry, exhibited flaws that did not help create connections but put up red flags. This book is short and so there is no time to delve into the characters but it left me not really looking to find out more. I might read the second only to see if it improves as the subject matter intrigues me and more depth awaits. If you like just pur erotica then you should enjoy this. I just want more story connecting my sex.

The story follows successful women's club owner, Cherry, who works her way through the dancers and adult entertainers in her club to ensure their quality for her patrons. The aforementioned patrons are, predominantly married women with lots of money.
My main issues with this book were: I do believe that consent is vital, even in erotica, and so its absence, especially in the case of Marina, was disturbing to me.
Some of the language was grandiose, which is fine, but didn't make sense, which is not.
The character telling the story changed from one chapter to the next, which took a bit of following.
To avoid spoilers, I won't say what was most disturbing about Chapter 14 - The Virgin, but it's not what you're thinking. It's much worse than that.

Cherry owns a club that caters to wealthy lesbians. They come for a night of fun. Cherry watches over her club and clientele with an experienced eye so there are no complaints. She arranges partners and parties for them.
I liked this book. It introduces the characters who work for and with Cherry. It also sets up the series. The rendezvous are hot! I liked the graphicness of what happens in the club. This time Cherry has arranged for a woman's birthday surprise by her friends as well as an 18th birthday party for the stepdaughter of a long-time and important client. Cherry has hired a new dancer and has a request to join the club. The story is good bedtime reading and I look forward to the rest of the series.

I would call this book a mix-and-match soap opera filled with erotic delights. You can't tell the players without a scorecard. The story moves along chapter by chapter as if they are all stand-alone escapades. It is an erotic romp with enough story in the background to hold interest. It is fun and a challenge to see who would do whom in what room. It kept me wondering who would star in the next chapter. There were some characters who never got to play. They were introduced so I would expect them to show up in another book in the series. This is a fun light airy 3 star read. I decided it was worth tossing myself to the wolves in 'The World of Cherry 2' and see what happens.
