Finn Quinn is the peacemaking charmer of the family—until he’s not.
As the youngest Quinn brother, I’m the hacker, the ghost in the system, the one who keeps our empire running from behind a screen. My brothers? They are the ones who are feared and respected in the streets.
I’m done feeling invisible.
I’m more than a keyboard jockey, and when the war for control of Dublin explodes, and Billy Gravely makes his move, I’m ready to show them all what I’m made of.
I didn’t count on her.
With the McGuire’s making their dangerous play for power, blood runs in our protected streets, and those close to us are at risk. Now is not the time to fall in love—at least, that’s what I tell myself.
Nyx is a legend among the people in my circles, an elite technophile I’ve admired from afar for years. So, when I realize she’s the one sniffing around and infiltrating my systems, I ready for war. I will take down this enemy no matter how enticing she is.
When it comes down to it, she chose the wrong side in this battle.
Dublin Charmer is Book 5 in the Emerald Isle Mafia series. This is a Dark Mafia M/F Romance full of heat, struggle, and survival that will take your heart hostage and never let go. Each book is a connected standalone with a completed story and HEA. This is a spicy Dark Mafia, friends-to-lovers, forbidden romance, which features scenes of a violent as well as explicit sexual nature.
This story had my attention from the beginning. I love a good enemies to lovers or rivals to lovers. Finn is the youngest of the Quinn brothers and is tech savvy, but meets his match when he crosses Nyx, who is working for a rival of the Quinn brothers. Finn takes things into his own hands, comes across Nyx at a party and the rest is history as they say.
I really enjoyed this story and the characters. The story really kept me engaged and the narration was top tier. You can't go wrong with Joe Aden as a mafia man abs Allie Rose made the perfect Nyx. Banter is always one of my favorite things about a book and this book did not lack in banter. I definitely recommend getting acquainted with the Quinn brothers.
I absolutely love this book from start to finish. Jenn and Carolina both did spectacular job with this book. There’s something about your writing style that had a chokehold on me. I cannot wait to read and listen to more of your books. This book was so captivating that I had no choice but to fall in love with Finn and Nyx.
This audiobook left an impression on me and I’m here for it. This spectacular audiobook is narrated by Allie Rose and Joe Arden. Both of your performance in this book had me riveting from start to finish. There was so many twists and turns I didn’t know what was gonna happen next. This audiobook almost made me cry, broke my heart at times, had WOWZA moments, make me laugh hysterically and so many other things. I just want to applaud you, Joe and Allie for making me feel all the things that Finn and Nyx went through.
If you absolutely love a book that will make you laugh hysterically along with breaking your heart just a little bit than this book is for you. This beautiful book officially has a piece of my heart because it made me feel all the feelings. This riveting book is about finding your found family, loyalty that has no bounds, protecting what is yours and an instant love that will pull at your heart strings.
Joe Arden did what Joe Arden always does — charming, warm, and dangerously smooth. The Irish accent was giving just kiss me already energy, and honestly, that carried a lot of my enjoyment. He fit the character perfectly and made the flirty moments feel effortless.
The female narration didn’t quite land for me. She has a strong voice, but the accent and tone sometimes felt like we had suddenly wandered into a paranormal gothic romance. It pulled me out of the story more than it pulled me in. Not bad — just not the right vibe for this book.
The chemistry and banter between the leads was enjoyable, and the story had more action than I expected, which kept things moving. It’s fun, it’s light, it’s not going to change your life — but it’s an easy, entertaining listen.
Boy, was I let down with this final installment of the Emerald Isle Mafia series.
I love Finn. Just as much as the other 4 Quinn brothers. And I wanted him to have just as good a HEA as Tag, Sean, Brendan, and Bryan...but apparently, he gets the flaky FMC.
Nyx got on my nerves from the word go. There were so many situations that made me go 'huh?'. Now, I realize it's the author's fault for writing the scenes/situations, but seriously. The Quinns are forgiving men, but this chick was instrumental in putting them all in serious danger off the bat. Then she was culpable for the attack on Piper's family, yet she never held a grudge either. Really now? I read fiction for the 'not real life' aspect, but can we at least make it believable. They only got mad at her when she drugged Finn with a sedative/truth serum. Why not when she gave Gravely the info to slaughter them all? And she fell hard and fast for Finn, but it only took one brief conversation with her brother to be all like 'yea, I'm gonna leave'? And don't get me started on the end. 1st - we all knew what was coming after the raw dog in front of the fire. 2nd - she didn't know till she was 5 months along and the baby kicked her 😒, sure. 3rd - she didn't fly her arse all the way back to Finn and tell him immediately? 4th - she waited nearly NINE MONTHS to tell him about his son! 5th - he let her off THAT easy (love still lets you fight it out and THAT deserved a fight, but there was nothing). 6th - he missed the entire pregnancy where he could 'get to know' his son as he grew and his son could 'get to know' him, such trash. Clearly, I disliked the ending and all because of Nyx. The ending gets 1.5⭐️s.
The mafia plot/storyline was good (it gets 5⭐️s). I loved how it all came together and they ended Gravely and claimed the South. (This will be the ONLY reason I buy this book - because I can't buy the first 4 and not buy this one; gotta have a good reason.) And the drama/fight scenes were excellent.
Can't leave out the spice. So, if you picture a fantastic FMC who Finn deserves whole-heartedly, the spice was great. If you picture Nyx, you feel bad for Finn (but I guess the spice was still good - she just didn't deserve it).
I recommend the first 4 in this series with a resounding READ THEM! They are fantastic. This one, though, flopped, but I have to begrudgingly recommend it because you have to find out about Finn's HEA (even though it should've been so much better) after you get to know him in all 4 of the other stories. He's just too perfect to not know fully as well.

Audiobook Review: Produced by Blue Nose Audio Performed in duet by… ✨Joe Arden ✨Allie Rose
Dublin Charmer is the fifth instalment of the Emerald Isle Mafia series by Jenn Madore and Carolina Mac. And, I loved every moment of the audiobook experience.
Joe Arden is a master of accents and in this audiobook he is utterly superb as always. But, his rendition of the beautiful and melodic Irish accent is simply outstanding! And, for the entirety of this audio experience he did not faultier, not once. Joe maintained this magical accent throughout…perfectly, flawlessly! He embraces the role of Finn with immense passion and grace, giving Finn, a unique personality and depth of character. As well as the numerous other characters he performs. Leaving no confusion to which character he is performing. Joe exudes confidence and enthusiasm with each and every separate character and their role within the scene. Just, purely brilliant.
Allie Rose plays the character of Nyx with a stunning voice that draws you into the scene with incredible depth and intensity. This amazingly strong woman is brought to life with such powerful emotions and incredible energy. I loved her rendering of this complex character.
This is a fantastic storyline revolving around the Irish mafia. The Quinn brothers are absolutely fantastic. Jenn Madore and Carolina Mac have outdone themselves with this incredible series! I absolutely adore Finn. He may be a favourite of mine. The youngest and the most tech savvy of the brothers.
A absolute must for all Mafia romance fans! This is such a fun and immersive experience.

Quotes:
My brothers are fighters, warriors, leaders. But me? Where do I belong in all of this?
"What are you looking at?" his grin is Just as devestating in real life as it was in my dream. "I'm watching you get yourself off and call my name.”
"Whatever that little dream, Sextasy was about it had nothing to do with me. Ach, well apart from the part I might have been playing in making you come."
"Sorry love that's not now this is going play out, we need to talk."
"Night NYX, dream dity dreams about me babe."
He's danger wrapped in an Irish accent... and I couldn't look away.
Two people on opposite sides of mafia, but both hackers. They’re running against time, racing to outdo each other. Finn Quinn is coming into his own, growing up and into his skin. I would’ve loved it more if I’d read earlier books, because though they are standalone and completed , characters from earlier books visit and there’s backstories to be delved into. Narration is really great but you expect no less from Joe Arden and Allie rose “4 stars ” Follow me on: Email🌻 Bookbub 🌻 Twitter🌻 Instagram🌻 Blog🌻 Facebook🌻 Amazon 🌻
Dublin Charmer was really good! Finn and Nyx were so fun together.
I loved Finn so much. He’s the youngest of the Quinn brothers and still trying to determine his place in the family, but he was so smart and sexy. He was kind and compassionate and a total bad ass when he needed to be.
And Nyx. She’s such a strong FMC. She will do anything to save her brother… including partnering with the enemy of the Irish mafia. Luckily, Finn is an understanding man. These two were fire together. Their chemistry was so good.
🎧 This audio was so good. Allie Rose was amazing as Nyx. She was the perfect mix of sassiness, vulnerability, and strength that was Nyx. I also loved her accent. And coming in hot was Joe Arden with the Irish accent. He was so so good as Finn. Joe always delivers with the Irish accent. I mean… do I need to say more? But seriously, I really enjoyed this audio.
This was the first book I’ve read from both of these authors, but definitely not my last. I need to go back and read books 1 through 4. And even though this was book 5 (the last book) in the series, it was easy to follow. But now I need to know more about these Quinn men! 🥵
☘️ Irish Mafia ☘️ Enemies to Lovers ☘️ Dark Romance ☘️ Hacker x Hacker ☘️ Forced Proximity
This was my first of the series and I need to go back and get the beginning!
I really enjoyed this romance between two hackers. We have the hacker from the Quinn family and the hacker that works for the enemy… under duress but works for him trying to infiltrate their system They meet when Finn gets ahold of her identity and takes her in. But he realizes that she’s only working for the enemy because he has something over her. He decides to help her get out of that situation if she can help them take him down. I love the feistiness of them both. They both need more out of the life they’re living and find it in each other. Things get hairy in the end there but they make it through.
I received a copy of the audiobook from Blue Nose Audio and I loved it. Joe Arden and Allie Rose did amazing job bringing the characters to life in duet style narration.
It’s mafia. It’s Joe Arden. And it’s Irish accent perfection—need I say more? 😍
Finn Quinn might be the peacemaking charmer of the family, but when the fight for Dublin turns bloody, this hacker finally steps out from behind his screen—and straight into danger. Enter Nyx, the tech legend who’s supposed to be his enemy but quickly becomes the one woman he can’t resist.
Joe delivers a sinful, smooth Irish performance that’ll have you melting into your headphones. Irish Joe=pure magic. Allie Rose matches his energy beautifully, giving Nyx strength, smarts, and a touch of vulnerability that makes their chemistry explode.
This one has everything I love in a mafia romance: danger, devotion, and a hero who sounds like he could charm you out of all your good sense. 🔥
(Duet Narration Audiobook) We’ve come to the conclusion of the Emerald Isle Mafia series with the youngest brother, Finn Quinn’s book. Finn is the computer genius of the family and comes across someone trying to access his system. It’s a renowned hacker by the name of Nyx. She’s being blackmailed by the Quinn’s enemy into helping them, since they have her brother held hostage.
I thought it was interesting that Finn doubted his place in the family a bit, since he wasn’t on the front lines so to speak. I know his family valued him, but he was finally able to see his full worth by the end of the book and I liked that. I was so happy he found Nyx and that they got together. I definitely enjoyed this series. The narrators Allie Rose and Joe Arden did a great job with the characters as well.
I had read a few of the other books in this series and so I was looking forward to getting to this audiobook.
The ‘tech genius’ behind any mafia organisation intrigues me in this day and age. It follows the family and focuses on Finn. A lot of the elements in this story makes it enjoyable with sassy banter and sibling dynamics.
The voice actors did a good job again, bringing the characters alive. Some moments the accents were a little off the mark, but reasonable.
In all this, I just couldn’t get through it. It may be due to my slumpy mood at the time and nothing was hitting right. Nevertheless, if you like a good, lighter mafia read, this is for you.
Thank you for the audiobook opportunity BNA + to the authors 🖤
Wow, this was a surprising miss in the Emerald Isle series. There was no chemistry or no foundation for Finn and Nyx’s relationship. I would have rather seen Finn and Jenny end up together. The beginning teaser was such an exciting surprise only to be squished by an interloper when Nyx appears on the scene.
Although Joe Arden did an amazing job voicing the Quinn brothers, the female narrator was not a fit for any of the characters in this book. She didn’t embody the character of Nyx, she used the wrong accents for a number of the Quinn women (Laine and Harper are American and Canadian but they had weird accents in the audio). Overall, this was a disappointment.
Let me just sayyyy… The Dublin Charmer charmed tf outta me 🥵☘️ From the very first chapter, I was hooked. The story had depth, humor, and that perfect mix of swoon and tension that keeps you glued to your headphones.
Mr. Finn Quinn, sir — the man you are 😮💨 And Nyx? An absolute badass. She’s strong, independent, and stands her ground every step of the way. Together? Pure magic.
If you love a swoon-worthy Irish MMC and a fierce FMC who gives as good as she gets, this audiobook is for you. 🎧 Narrated by Joe Arden & Allie Rose — and they nailed it.
As someone who has just recently found her love for audiobooks, it is safe to say that Blue Nose puts out some of the most fantastic audios.
While I haven’t read this series on my kindle yet, listening to the story being told by the talented duo made me want to go back and read it. Not only do both narrators hit all the marks when it comes to the different accents needed, but the way they made the story come to life made it 1000 times better.
Everything from the emotions you can feel, to the storyline… It was fantastic. I don’t know what I have to do but I need more PLEASE.
Joe Arden brings another irish character to life. this time Finn Quinn ... the youngest, quiet little brother, the family hacker. Nyx is the FMC voiced by Allie Rose who is strong , independent and making a life of her own after coming into contact with some crappy individuals
rollercoaster of emotions . great banter and chemistry . the plot was great . depth and balance between storyline and spice was soo well done ...
Loved this book, loved the series despite being a basic and short story series it was full of emotion and giggles from start to finish. So nice to see all the Quinn boys got their happy endings. Would been goof to know who the new threat was trying to ruin things on the south side but least it didnt result in tragic death after everything! And more new additions to the family that was unexpected..
Have to say the audio for these were also good and kinda nice to have it mixed up for each book too! But.. as always joe arden in book 1 and 5 s always the best.
Finn Quinn may be the charming hacker of the Quinn family, but in *Dublin Charmer* he proves he’s much more than the man behind the screen. As the fight for control of Dublin grows more dangerous, Finn finally steps out of the shadows—and falling for the wrong woman only raises the stakes.
A spicy friends-to-lovers, forbidden romance filled with tension, danger, and family loyalty. Another intense and satisfying addition to the Emerald Isle Mafia series. 🔥📚
The Quinn brothers are all perfection in their own ways. I like Finn being introspective and having doubts about his role with the family, but then truly coming into his own . All of these books showed how this family in a very dark business were always able to live ethically. These men adored their women and were always considerate, loving and oh so hot.
This story is action-packed, gripping, and sexy hot. Finn Quinn, the charmer is a tech genius with a burning desire to prove himself. Enter Nyx, the elite hacker trapped in a tough spot - her brother's been taken, and she's got a score to settle. Their battle of wits ignites a passion that's off the charts. The Quinn men are done - Finn's found his match in Nyx, and this series send-off is hot! 🤓
Okay Finn and Nyx are my favourite couple by far!! The cat and mouse with them both being hackers is so good!! Nyx is force to work for Billy while he hold her little brother captive, but breaking into the Quinn family network is not easy feat but what happens when she is taken by the Quinn family and changed sides? You will have to read it to find out! Great ending to this series Highly recommend
Dublin Charmer is the perfect mix of mafia and romance. I enjoyed the complexity of the characters and the love they have for their own. Allie Rose and Joe Arden were amazing in the audio. Their accents were smooth and refreshing to the ears making for a perfect blend in bringing the characters to life.
Great ending to the series! Bitter sweet to have this series over. It's not often where everything is tied up in series including side characters. Well the only thing left open is the story of the next generation of Quinn.
This Audio version was also a good end, the series started with Joe Arden and ended with Joe Arden.
I will definitely recommend this series and the audio version.
I’m not sure if I was a little burned out on the series by the time I got to this one, or if it was the audiobook narration… or honestly, a mix of both.
I’ll start with the positives, because there are a lot. I loved Finn. His character and the whole hacker, cat and mouse dynamic was such a fun shift from the earlier books. The tension between him and the FMC worked really well, and I absolutely appreciated how skilled and capable she was. The spice? Delivered. I also really liked how everything came together at the end. Seeing multiple storylines from earlier books tie in and wrap up was super satisfying, and it made the whole series feel more complete.
That being said… the audiobook experience pulled me out quite a bit. The male narrator (same as book one, which I loooooved) was great, but the female narrator’s voice just didn’t work for me at all. It made it harder to stay fully immersed in the story, which definitely affected my overall enjoyment.
Overall, I did enjoy this and would absolutely read more about the Quinns again.
Although the story was good and a good conclusion for the 5 brothers, the female narrator ruined it for me. The rest of the series had great narrators but not even Joe Arden could save this one for me.
this was ALC it is book 5, so thin and Nic it's just a beautiful way to end series and I've been waiting for this one for for a long time. And i'm pleased how it went and how it ended , just love it
hacker boy meets hacker girl and takes down bad guys while continuing family traditions and names. love the writing! as always, love Joe Arden. not personally a fn of the female voice.
