Shadowed corners and halls of nightmare were my domain. Twisting dreams and devouring fear brought me the greatest pleasure. The darkest desires lived in those inky shadows, and I loved nothing more than seeking out those secrets and using them to taunt my prey.

Shatter is Book 5 in the Red Room Series, and trust me… you want to read the other books first so you’re fully prepared for the chaos, connections, and pure filth waiting for you behind that door. 👀🔥 It’s a quick read—easy to devour in one sitting—but once you start, there’s absolutely no stopping. This book grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go. 😈
Let me just say… this was dirty in all the right, delicious ways. The Red Room is truly a place where anything goes, and Vivian Blake does not hold back. Diamond, our exotic dancer with a craving for control, was such a fun ride to follow. Her hunger, her vulnerability, her desire to be claimed—ugh, yes please. 💦✨
But Mel? Ohhhh Mel. My unhinged little heart was feral reading his chapters. 😩🔥 The God of Nightmares himself… dark, wicked, taunting, and sexy as hell. Every time he appeared I was like, “Sir… PLEASE come ruin my life.” 😭🖤 His teasing, his power, his dominance—he embodied everything a spicy romance lover dreams of.
And while the heat is off the charts (seriously, this book should come with a temperature warning), there’s also so much happening behind the scenes that adds depth to the story. I won’t spoil anything, but it’s definitely another reason I recommend reading the earlier books first—you’ll appreciate the bigger picture even more.

4.5 Stars, 4/5 Spice!!
Shatter is a really great short read! It hooked me from the start and had all the spice!! This is book 5 in the Red Room Series and was the first one I read. It makes me wish I had read the previous books before starting this one. I just wasn't able to put it down once I started.
I looooove an unhinged MMC who will do anything for the FMC. And again, the spice was spicing. The chemistry of Diamond and Mel is off the charts. Despite the spice, the storyline is great and has me wanting to finish the series to learn how it ends! I just wish the book was longer!! I enjoyed reading Diamond's story!

Vivian Blake writes stories that keep my full attention. This story is part of the Red Room series paranormal er0tica. This novella focuses on Mel and Diamond. The plot is interesting and the spicy scenes are well done and so hot. This is a great story to dip your toes into the paranormal world. And the chemistry between these two characters is so awesome. This is definitely a series to check out.

Whew! Where’s my AC when I need it! Great story. Easy to get into, plot line moved along and had substance. And the spice!! I’m no longer young and sexy, but oof, I’d dance there for some sex like that! Now I need to go read the previous books! Highly recommend!

YES!!! Freaking amazing story. Lots of sizzling chemistry. Well written book with relatable characters. Was glued to the pages. Story grabbed my attention in the first chapter and never let it go.
