I had high hopes for this book. All of my complaints with the last book could've been explained by the ending. Biggest complaint being the plot moves quickly with little depth....world building was lacking, character depth wasn't there. I'm used to ACOTAR, Fourth Wing, OUABH, etc. where the characters are super developed and therefore everything that happens hits you in the gut.
The plot is unique and intriguing, it just moves too quickly with little depth. It very much feels as though the characters are chess pieces rather than driving forces in the story.
This one ended on a cliff hanger, and tbh, I don't think I'll be reading the third if she releases it.
There were also lots of typos in the book, which was distracting.
