Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow
A whole lot of nothing really. The longest in the collection, and one of the more tedious reads.

Transformation
Not what I was expecting at all, but very compelling!

The Fall Of The House Of Usher
… and then everything was super evil and bad and that’s scary!!!! I was quite enjoying it until the end. I really struggled with the pacing.

The Phantom Coach
A really fun ghost story with a good enough pay off for only 8 pages.

The Romance of Certain Old Clothes
My favourite of the stories in this collection, but also one of the most disappointing endings. This is when I realised that Gothic Horror maybe isn’t for me.

The Body-Snatcher
A really solid read the whole way through!

The Yellow Wall-Paper
The main reason I bought the book and by far the best written. Incredible.

The Shadow
I enjoyed the narration, but it could have been a whole lot spookier.

August Heat
The worst in the collection. I liked the ending and that was about all.

Sredni Vashtar
I felt this was a really strange story to end this book on. Not bad per se, but certainly not on par with the rest of the stories.
