A love painted in darkness. A promise written in blood.
Anastasia Morozova, heiress to the Russian Bratva, ran from her bloodline, her past, and the ruthless man who once owned her heart.
Now, she reigns as the queen of shadows, her empire built on deception and desire.
But the past has a long memory.
And Leonardo Vinci, the merciless ruler of the Cosa Nostra, will burn the world to reclaim his queen.
Can love survive where trust has died, or will vengeance claim what’s left of their hearts?
Some art pieces are more than mere objects; they cannot be understood with sight alone. They speak to us through emotion, spark, and energy, and sometimes, what we feel is far more powerful than what we see.
Dear Reader, Please note that this is Book 2 of The Masterpiece Series and not a standalone novel. I highly encourage you to read Book 1: The Collector first, as all books in this series are deeply interconnected.
I absolutely love love LOVED this book and I cannot wait to read the third! because I know for HECK that it’s not gonna be only two books. Or i’m going to fight the author.(sorry not sorry)
The story picks up right where the first book, "The Collectors," left off, with Anastasia on the run from Leonardo. One aspect I particularly enjoyed was the author's vivid artistic style, which is evident throughout the book. You don't need to be an art enthusiast to appreciate this story. As you follow Anastasia's journey, you'll notice that she has grown more confident; rather than hiding from Leonardo, she engages in a bit of cat-and-mouse play. This edgy writing will keep you eagerly guessing how the story will unfold.
Take a day and read the book, look pass a few grammatical errors and be kind in rating.
The story picks up shortly after the events of book one. It’s fast paced, little over 100 pages.
This is the second book written by the author and you can tell that she took the feedback that she was given and took that with her while writing this book. I loved reading the first book, but i think i might like this one more.
I’m not that much into art, but the way this story uses art in the plot makes me appreciate it more.
The character development is wonderful to see. Leonardo’s POV’s are my favorite.
Loving the addition of some new characters and their role in the story.
