The Inquiry is a languidly paced story chronicling the events leading up to the beginning of an interracial lesbian roommates with benefits arrangement. The story and characters have an authenticity that makes this an enjoyable audiobook. Primarily during the exposition segments, the narration was a little stiff and uneven, but it picked up during the erotic portions.

As a submissive bi female, I really enjoyed this quite short tale of an erotic lesbian relationship. It made me very, very wet:) Especially loved the BDSM aspects and the fact that the author, Jacintha Topaz, went outside the comfort zone of some readers by incorporating an interracial element. Interesting book

Q was quite the character , straight forward and actually fun to read. Taylor was also a great character and together made this story very enjoyable as well as interesting. Q’s attitude was great but poor Taylor was no match for Q’s personality. Loved the interaction between the two.

This is the first writing that I have read by this author, and be assured it won't be the last.

Taylor has just transferred from junior College to University, but is already tiring of the hour long trek she has to make each day to and fro, and her patience is frayed. Just as she is about to give up looking for somewhere near campus to stay, she finds an advert that sounds bang on.

This is a fresh and outstanding piece of writing that nails you right from the get go. A stand alone story, yet part of a series involving a group of feisty females that have no qualms about their sexuality, and their experimentation with bondage to that end.Plenty of steamy scenes.

Sexy, and steamy, and well worth a read.

I look forward to reading more of Jacintha Topaz's novels very soon

Great story that had me hooked right from the start. These are sassy characters who know what they want and from whom. Although it's one in a series, a story of young independent-minded women totally unfazed by entering into adult lesbian bondage relationships is a gripping and exciting read in itself. Can't wait to check out the others in the series.
