The Dragon Tributes #10

Dancing with Fire

Rate this book
The dragons on Draig Island are not your run-of-the-mill kind. They’re something else entirely…

It’s Grim’s turn to find his mate. To avoid spoilers, there will not be a blurb for this book. It is very much an enemies to lovers romance.

This story contains mature themes/language.
Also, be prepared for a ton of growls, dirty talk, and a hard-won HEA. Hulking, skulking, foul-mouthed, brooding dragons ahead. You were warned!
Each book follows a different couple.

I have to say that I thought this book had been a long time arriving, I was extremely excited to read it!!
There we are a much-awaited book in the series The Dragon Tributes, I have waited what seems like forever but I have to say that I was not disappointed and I am sure that other readers will be as chuffed as I was.
I do not want to spoil the read for other enthusiasts of this series, I guarantee that once you begin reading you will find it impossible to put down until you reach the end and discover all the mysteries and the individuals that are involved in one way or another.
Grimm is a dragon shifter on Draig and after what he endured with Jordan he has become extremely within himself, holding all of his feelings in and brooding and becoming more withdrawn which is not good for him or his dragon. Unfortunately, he is stubborn and trying to talk to him is like banging your head against a stone wall.
Wren is a nurse that has been working on the mainland, she is human and has a good heart and she has seen Grim and has been attracted to him since that day, he however has shown now apparent interest in her but she knows that he needs time and is allowing him space and keeping her fingers crossed in the hope that he might possibly even simply speak with her.
I guarantee that other readers will be charmed by this book and will be like myself unable to put it down they reach the finish and discover the outcome of Grimm and Wren.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Grim gets dropped into the middle of the Mainlands vaccination deceit by Drake , he’s supposed to play nice with a nurse at the vaccination center and swap out the vaccines for placebo doses, but instead anti-vaxxers storm the center and away he and Wren have to fly. This story is mostly a love story, yes the Mainland’s trying to control dragons is a small part, but the love story and Grim’s being broken by Jordyn ( his previous rider ), is the main story. Lot’s of running from Mainland Security, help from unexpected people and the rush to get video proof of the incident out to the island and the Mainland is the rest of the story ! 4✨’s for a story that has great characters and a storyline that for the most part kept me engaged. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Best read in order to understand the characters and the backstory.

Long awaited

But I was a little disappointed at the end. It was good It was great up until the very end. I wanted more interaction between Wren and the dragon. He dropped out of site after saving her and flying her to the meeting place and after that there was no more mention of the dragon and wren making a better connection. It was just like they were normal humans and there was no drag in there at all at the end The two years later part? I really wanted to know more about the dragon interaction with Wren, And I wanted to know how the mainland security had handled their botched interference. It feels like the series is going to end and it's going to be lackluster and that really upset me. it's too great of a series, so much great potential and yet the ending was rather lackluster and I'm probably alone in my thinking that I was still disappointed

Grim and Wren😍

Suffice to say, this book was a long time coming and soooo good❣️

Grim is a dragon shifter on Draig and after what he went through with Jordyn, he’s withdrawn and broody. Wren is a human nurse working on the mainland and she is secretly interested in Grim, but he’s not yet noticed her😢

Great to see the conclusion of this series, though I didn’t want it to finish at all. Some great secondary characters that I fell in love with and also some cameos from an old favourite of mine as well🙌 I don’t want to reveal too much as the author has deliberately not given out a blurb for this book, so I will keep my lips sealed🤫 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review🥰

Love This Series

I was so glad to finally read this book. Poor Grim was so beat up over his betrayal by his rider Jordan in the last book and I just knew his story was going to be an interesting one as he overcame that betrayal. It was gratifying that he got his happily ever after with Wren. Of course very few authors can write such steamy scenes as Charlene Hartnady who is a literal genius at that. But for all of the passion she can still weave a story of trials and intrigue that will keep you reading until the wee hours of the night just to find out what happens next. Looking forward to the next installment!

I absolutely loved this, I adore a quite broody hero and my goodness he was direct!! This one was choc full of danger and worry, I enjoyed every minute and look forward to what the mainland does next, I don’t think they will stop.
I enjoyed a few of the side characters in this one too, Falkor may be one of my favourite dragons ever and Sally was great, loved how she teased him for trying to make friends.
I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

New beginnings for Grim and Wren

This is book ten and I like that it is getting close to the Dragons learning about the hidden secrets. This book focuses on Grim and how he is enlisted to be part of the resistance. Wren on the other hand is a nurse who was hired by the mainland group to give vaccines. Their cute love story is basically the sunshine Wren to the grumpy Grim. There is a happy ending for the couple. Read On!

A wonderful story that kept me engaged from the very beginning! Grim and Wren are great characters and I loved them for each other! I was happy for Grim after what he went through with his previous rider. I don’t know how this author does it but this series just gets better and better! I absolutely love it and can’t wait to see what happens next! A very enjoyable and entertaining story that I highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

vaccine or poison

Great follow up to a match up between the mail and and the dragon shifters. The catalyst is an in suspecting nurse and a massive cover up when ant-vaxxers try to expose the truth. This is a fast paced story with just enough intrigue and coupling scenes to keep you turning the page to see what happens next. Enjoy!
