One Last Chance on Lake George

Rate this book
The sister who betrayed her is missing. The ex-boyfriend she can't forgive might be the only one who can help.

Manhattan lawyer Avery Wilkinson has spent 15 years avoiding Lake George—and the painful memories waiting there. Like the night she caught her boyfriend Brent with her sister Lizzie. Some betrayals you just don't get over.

But when Lizzie vanishes, Avery has no choice but to go home. She is family after all.

Working with Brent to find her sister should be simple. Except nothing about this situation is simple. Her teenage daughter keeps secrets. Their mother is acting strange. And the more questions Avery asks, the less sense anything makes.

Why won't anyone tell her the whole truth about that night 15 years ago? What is her mother hiding? And why does being around Brent still feel so right when it should feel so wrong?

As the lies unravel, Avery discovers that the worst betrayal wasn't what she thought... and the life she's been running from might be exactly what she needs.

The final book in the Adirondacks Nights series is page-turning tale of family secrets, small-town intrigue, and getting a second chance at everything.

One Last Chance on Lake George

In my opinion, this was the best of the three!
It was intriguing and especially funny in certain parts where I even laughed out loud!
I enjoyed reading each book which took place mostly in Lake George, NY!
I grew up about 30 miles from there and always enjoyed my trips there in each season!
The characters were real and Mason's character made the book relevant to real Life!
I would recommend this trilogy to all who like mystery, intrigue and fantastic character studies!

Third in a series of 3. A continuation of the story. I found it annoying that these 3 weren’t just ONE book because it’s ONE story.
