Hollea
Love and I broke up years ago.
It was messy, one-sided, and I’m still paying for the damage.
Now, I keep things simple with my books, my dog, and the two friends who refuse to let me live
like a hermit.
Then Travis waltzes into my life.
He was confident, too good-looking, and far too tempting for my peace of mind. I tell myself it’s
one night, a reckless reminder that I still have a pulse. But his touch feels like a promise, and the
way he looks at me makes it hard to remember why I ever stopped believing in something more.

Travis
My whole life has been about hockey. Every drill and late-night practice has been to prove one
that I belong on the ice. Getting off the farm team and skating my way to the Stanley Cup
has always been the goal.
Then Hollea shows up.
She’s older, fiery, and too good at pretending she doesn’t notice me. The first time she laughs, it
hits harder than a puck to the ribs. I should focus on my career, not on imagining her in my bed
or wondering what it would take to make her stay. She calls it a fling. I call it the best mistake
I’ve ever made.

Thank you to Mollea Foust for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Congratulations to the author, publishing a debut novel is an amazing feat and I’m excited to see how her writing develops during her author journey.

The Equipment Manager is a fast paced insta-love story revolving around Hollea & Travis. This is the author’s debut novel and I want to offer both an honest and constructive review. I did not enjoy the first 60% of the book. To me, it was way too much insta-lust and I felt the characters shared no real connection. The entire time Travis is trying to woo Hollea, Hollea is repeatedly shutting him down. It bothers me that Travis refused to take no for an answer. This book was very, very, very spicy. Although I felt like the scenes were thought out and concise— I don’t feel there was enough talk about consent / protection / kinks / hard limits. It does a disservice to those in the kink community to not show a respectful dialogue about what is okay and what is pushing limits for the scene. In the descriptions I felt like Travis was super rough, which is fine if you’re into that, but there was no before or after convo between the main characters and no aftercare. Switching back to their emotional relationship— it was hard for me to believe this is a 37 year old woman acting this way. She knows she has abandonment issues and yet makes it every other person’s problem. Her friends won’t even nudge her to figure her issues out. I felt the building of Hollea & Travis’ relationship and the sorting of any emotional baggage the characters carry were so shallow and not properly developed. I would’ve loved maybe cutting/shortening some spicy scenes to see some true bonding & working through problems. The last thing (and maybe this is just a personal ick), I didn’t enjoy all of the very blatant drops of couples & that there will be books in the future on them. I think it’s great in the last chapter or epilogue but to drop things throughout the entire book makes me not focus so much on the current storyline I am reading. I did enjoy the last 40% of the book. I loved the conflict resolution, obsessed with the Mexico plot line, and found the ending so so good. I felt the ending of the book had everything very nicely developed so it wasn’t too much but also tied everything up really nicely.

Overall, no, this was not a favorite hockey romance FOR ME. However, I will continue to look for other books by Mollea and am excited to see how she will hone her craft going forward. Thank you for the opportunity for this ARC!

Snakes and spice, oh my!!

As a Dallas girl, I was so excited to read this one since it’s set in my home area!! This one hooked me in immediately with Hollea, our FMC, who has dealt with a string of bad relationships. Poor Hollea has some major trust issues, which made her both frustrating but also real and relatable!

Hollea meets Travis, a minor league hockey player at the time, formally at Hotel Vin (loved this reference). Travis had spotted Hollea at his minor league game earlier in that day and it was instantly-lust for sure. We love a man who is down bad!! Travis is also younger than Hollea which gives us a nice reverse age gap trope!

From here, we have a one night stand (at least in Hollea’s mind) that Travis NEEDs to turn into more. We have some mild stalking and lots of obsession. Hollea’s complicated past makes her push Travis away at every possible opportunity but he perseveres. There are some 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 spice scenes in this one. I had to fan myself a few times because Mollea turned up the HEAT! We have some miscommunication trope that comes into play but just know there’s a detailed HEA at the end!!

Read this if you like:
🏒 high spice and kink
🏒 hockey romance
🏒 he claims her while wearing his Jersey
🏒 reverse age gap
🏒 insta lust
🏒 references to real Dallas locations
🏒 he washes her hair (my favorite microtrope)
🏒 detailed HEA and even more in the epilogue

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

The Equipment Manager
The Dallas Snakes Series
By: Mollea Foust

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

A hockey book gets me every time, especially when he falls first with a little bit of stalkerish tendencies. I got picked to ARC read this new series and fell in LOVE with the Snakes. I need a Travis in real life.
We start at a hockey game then drinks.
Bree’s dog Summitt spotted the guys at the restaurant and took Bree with her to the table.
Ava to Hollea (our FMC) “Slow down,” Ava called out from behind me. “I can’t help it. My feet did not get the memo to look calm, cool, and collected. They won’t stop moving.”
Hollea has been thru hell and needs to work thru past trauma before she can truly give herself to Travis. We follow their epic love story from start to finish.
Also, Thank you for including this GEM of a destination. All I’ll say is Isla Mujeres is absolutely beautiful…. Read the book.
My ultimate favorite line hit straight to my soul. Hollea to Travis. “I love you so much. You healed a heart you didn’t break. You healed a soul you didn’t torture.”
Can’t wait for more hockey HEA!!

I got to 80% and had to stop because I quite literally could not take it anymore. I know 6 year olds that can write a more creative story line and plot. TLDR: all about a 37 year old woman who throws fits like she’s a toddler and a 20 something year old hockey player who fall in love in .2 seconds. Diabolical read, wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Also I understand that this is “loosely” based on the Dallas Stars, do we really think Jamie “Barker” (or whatever his changed last name is) would support a player asking for a “equipment manager” on the Jumbotron during a playoff game to get a girl that he’s known for a month back? Be so for real

i’m not sure the author will read this… but either way i am thankful for the ARC and the chance to review this book early, i’m sad it’s not a positive review but i wont lie about how i feel about a book…

where do i start….

lets start with i’m pretty sure this book is a self insert for the author, and im really not sure how i feel about that??

i wanted to like this book, ive read probably 30 hockey romance books this year alone, so im not new to the genre. I just, couldn’t find much to like about this book. The main characters have no emotional connection, its insta-lust, and we never get good conversation between them ever. From the very beginning travis is convinced he’ll marry Hollea based on nothing but how he felt when he looked in her eyes. Now listen, i have read PLENTY of insta-love/insta-lust books, but this one was just, very poorly executed. There weren’t good transitions between scenes or timelines, the dialogue was a bit clunky and awkward, the inner monologues were…i dont even know how to describe them.

Hollea pissed me off throughout this entire book, she constantly states FROM THE BEGINNING how she KNOWS she has issues and trauma… but in her 37 years of life she’s never thought to try and heal her trauma? go to a therapist? figure her shit out? Not to mention the way she’s just, blatantly rude to travis time and time again is so frustrating! then when he sets BOUNDARIES and tells her she needs to figure out her issues because he cant keep chasing her… SHE BLAMES IT ON HIM?!?!?! that pissed me off SO BAD! this woman is supposed to be like 8 years older than travis but he has so much more emotional maturity than her. NOT TO MENTION from the tiny snippet we got of her past relationship during the prologue, travis is VERY OBVIOUSLY not the same as the guys in her past and just because he is taking a step back doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about her???

Travis is kinda creepy in the beginning, even mentioning how he literally wants to stalk her because he just wants to know who she is… then he keeps going after her bc she has an attitude and “the look in her eyes and our connection” (i’m still confused whAt the connection is because we dont get any meaningful conversation between them on page) until finally he can’t handle her mood swings because it’s been fucking with his game trying to figure her out and worry about her (which is totally fair, because since the VERY BEGINNING he’s been putting her above his game and getting distracted trying to figure her out and how he can do better for her) so he sets boundaries to say he really wants to be with her, but he can’t handle how she’s treating him. then she screams in his face that he’s just like the other guys who left her…. even though he has nO idea about her past!! then he gets self conscious about what she said and suddenly starts thinking he’s super selfish and exactly like his dad??? that came out of left field.

after the boundaries were set… it was just both characters being obtuse while not really dealing with their feelings? then Hollea writes a book about her past and her sexual fantasies… but us readers aren’t told any of the details???

Honestly my biggest gripe is all the details were left out of the story. it was just surface level conversation or Hollea being rude to Travis bc of her past and him flirting.

Last thing! while the sex scenes were good in their content, they should have been executed better. there was zero conversation about a condom and birth control until halfway through the second sex scene… and when it comes to the actual content of the sex scenes… none of what travis did to her was discussed before, when they absolutely should have. The scenes set a bad precedent for kink. choking, rough sex, slapping, dirty talk, degredation, etc. those are all topics that absolutely should be discussed beforehand to figure out if the other person likes it. theyre not things you just dO during sex and it magically works that both of you love it. also he was ridiculously rough with her after talking to his dad and they just… never talked about it???

im not sure what else to say, i didn’t like the book, but i didn’t hate it. i think the author has potential, just needs some

SPOILERS AT THE END. WILL WARN YOU. I got this book as an ARC with the hope I’d leave an honest review. This is the author’s debut, so I was torn about leaving a less than glowing review. But I’ll start with the good because there’s a lot of good. If you’re into the daddy, good girl, praise kink types of books, this author has you covered. The sex scenes are plentiful, creative and spicy! I love the friendship between the FMC Hollea and her girlfriends, and the MMC Travis and his teammates. Speaking of, the teammates bromances are the best part of the book. I love their interactions, how Travis can be open and vulnerable with them but then also check them on the ice after they piss him off. I liked how both characters were deeply flawed but are healed by the other person but also have to heal themselves. Now for what I didn’t like—mainly, this book needs a good edit. Not for grammar issues or proofreading but for pacing, and unnecessary scenes. The book went on way past the ending. The last 20-30 pages could’ve been a 5 page epilogue. I also didn’t like how the author and the characters kept referring to the FMC as “old” and how the age difference between them was “weird” and problematic. She is 36 and he is almost 30. That’s not that much of an age gap. So that was a bit off putting and not necessary to the story. That said, the FMC acted like she was young. Had I guessed her age, I’d have thought 21-22. If the age gap were reversed and she was super young, I think it would’ve worked better with her actions and personality and immaturity when it came to relationships. Finally, (SPOILER ALERT) …….

She writes their romance and gives it to him as a way to explain why she is the way she is. He just happens to know an editor at a big publishing house and sends the book to them without her permission. They email her to tell her they want the book. And she lands a huge contract and has a line-out-the-door book signing at the end. Not very believable. She’s never even thought about being a writer until the last quarter of the book.

And throughout the entire book, Travis’ dream is to win the Stanley Cup. They do but it’s just mentioned in a sentence or two. That scene should’ve been part of the story but it was more like “oh by the way, they won the Stanley Cup.” No biggie.

I think with some honest beta readers and a good editor, this book could have been really good. So I have high hopes for her next books.

To start I really hate that this is a self insert from the author. The names and basic information (Lives in Dallas, likes Hockey, wine and romance books) are way too similar.

This book has potential in the story itself but is poorly executed. I think if we could have seen more play off his hatred of dogs it would have flowed better. Adding this random book that she starts writing in the second half of the book? Just threw so much off. If he would have started the foundation while they were broken up and maybe gotten a dog to show he can care about someone else (to himself because the reader can already see he can) that would have moved the story more organically. I’m never one for “kill the dog” but if Fancy had passed during their breakup and he found out about it through her friends and then stalked his way back over to her by showing up at her door? It would have created the drama l was looking for. Missed texts because you’re blocked seemed like a cop out.

I cannot stand how repetitive it was. It was almost like we were trying to hit a word count. The POVs were also annoying. I would take 3 steps forward then start the next chapter and be 2 steps back. Continuity was way off and that made me want to DNF multiple times. Along with their constant inner monologue.

Onto the characters: Travis I liked. Would have loved to see more healthy smexy talk where they actually discuss kinks. It’s almost like he’s written to be a “dark romance” character when this wasn’t dark romance.

Hollea I hate. You’re almost 40. She’s written like shes a 20 year old. Grow up. Your emotional insecurities aren’t cute and really if this was an AITHA thread Hollea would be the asshole.

This relationship went from 0-100 in no time and look I like a fast moving book but all this in the span of like 8 months is nuts. You don’t have to shove EVERYTHING in there. Give them time to actually get together. The story is insanely rushed and drug out way too long. The conflicts being resolved and still having not one but TWO life events to go through was too much.

It gets 2/5 because it has potential but honestly if this wasn’t an ARC I wouldn’t have finished it.

Okay, so Travis… he really grew on me. I’ll give him that. But let’s be honest — Hollea is a better woman than me because if someone didn’t vibe with my dog? That would’ve been game over right there. No second chances. The way Travis treated that dog early on had me seeing red. Like sir, get that dog some water.

He definitely redeemed himself later and learned to love that dog (which, good for him), but personally, my mind was made up after that first interaction. Ain’t no man locking my dog out of the bedroom she sleeps in and living to tell the tale. So yeah — I like to think of Travis as two separate people: first-half Travis, not it; second-half Travis, we can allow.

Now, the smut? The smut was smutting. If you’re a closed-door romance girly, this one is not for you — skip it. But if you’re like me and love when the tension actually pays off, then you’ll have a great time. It’s spicy, it’s emotional, and it actually adds to the story instead of feeling random, which I really appreciated.

Hollea, though, was such a standout for me. You can tell she’s got deep-rooted issues when it comes to relationships, but watching her work through them — and seeing her friends show up for her — was honestly beautiful. She really grows into the best version of herself by the end, and it felt so rewarding to read.

The meet-cute — Travis spotting her through the glass — is peak romance-core. Is it realistic? Maybe not. But that’s kind of the point, right? It’s the fantasy of it all that keeps us hooked.

And those last few chapters? Easily my favorite part of the book. Everyone was finally in their element, healed, communicating, being their best selves. I just wish we’d gotten more of that version of them throughout.

The One-Night Stand That Turned Into So Much More

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes: one-night stand, reverse age gap, he falls first, sports romance

Review:
The Equipment Manager by Mollea Foust kicks off the Dallas Snakes series with a fast-paced, emotional debut that blends spice, sass, and just the right amount of heartache. Hollea is older, guarded, and lost in the chaos of a life that doesn’t feel like hers anymore—until one unforgettable night with Travis Taylor, the NHL’s rising star, shakes everything loose.

Travis is cocky, dirty-mouthed, and determined to make it big, but Hollea makes him rethink what he really wants. Their chemistry? Explosive. Their banter? Addictive. Their walls? Massive—but worth breaking down.

I loved how real Hollea felt—her insecurities, her independence, and that sharp tongue. And Travis? Total book boyfriend material. My only small gripe was that a few transitions felt a little rushed, especially toward the emotional climax, but as a debut, this one scores high.

If you like a fiery FMC, a filthy-mouthed hockey player, and a love story that hits hard between the sheets and the heart—add this to your TBR.

Have you ever read a book and had a hard time getting into it, but then by the end you’re devouring every page? That was this book for me, which isn’t always a bad thing. For me, the amount of miscommunication and deflection in the first half of the book really grated on my nerves, but it also made the ending so much sweeter when Travis and Hollea (pronounced Holly) finally get out of their own way and get to their HEA!!

I think that part of my issue with the flow of this book is wrapped up in the miscommunication that (for me) popped up way too often. It was hard for me to be sympathetic towards Hollea because she brought SO MUCH of her heartbreak upon herself in her relationship with Travis, though I understand why she was reluctant to open her heart to him. The spice was SPICING though, which was a definite plus. Once the MC’s got out of their own way the character development was on point.

I’m going to be honest, it’s hard for me to write this review because I don’t want to give it less than five stars, but at the same time it wasn’t a five star read for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ #bookstagram #bookreview #indieauthorsofinstagram #indieauthorsofig #arcreview

📚 The Equipment Manager was an okay read for me, but I want to highlight the positives especially since this is the author’s debut! It’s definitely a quick, easy read with some really well-written spicy scenes 🔥

Travis and Hollea were a cute couple, though their relationship leaned more toward insta-lust. The beginning felt a little stalkerish from Travis, and Hollea being in her 30s with so much baggage was sometimes hard to fully connect with. I also found myself wishing for clearer communication when it came to the kink elements since those conversations can add so much depth and trust between characters!

That said, I did enjoy their friend groups and the hockey team vibes. And I can absolutely see the author’s heart in this story it feels personal, like a piece of her life morphed into fiction, and I love that it ends happily 💕

I’m excited to see how the series grows from here, and I truly believe the author is going to nail the next books 👏

Thank you so much for letting me ARC read this one! 🤍✨

Woooo! This is one SPICY read, but it’s ohhhh so good! It’s a fast-burn one night stand turned HEA. You have a super feisty, redhead, nurse FMC who’s experienced some past traumas that lead her to having major trust issues especially with men. Then you have a playboy hockey player MMC who’s fine as hell and falls in love basically at first sight with our girl Hollea. This book is full of fun kinky, open-door spice. Some of the hottest filthy mouth, dirty talk you’ve ever read. And some of the sweetest, swooniest, romantic lines ever too. Travis is sweet on his girl from the start & determined to push past her tough exterior and make her his forever. It’s a bumpy ride to get there, but these two do get their HEA eventually and what a sweet journey it is!!! Highly recommend this debut romance from this author. I can’t believe this is her first book!! It’s so yummy, and I can’t wait for Book 2 from this series!!

The book was good for someone who published her first ever book. The sex scenes were perfect and it had me hooked from the second I started but , I just wish there was more dialogue between Hollea and Travis. For example him learning why she pushes him away through the book was a great idea but I think it could’ve been shared in the book and given us the context then just leaving it there. It just felt like she was more focused on them having sex all the time than having meaningful conversations and actually getting to know each other. There was also just so many things that had either very vague context or none at all like his hatred towards an animal had basically nothing behind it when she could’ve written more context and built a plot line out of it.
With all that being said it was a good book and hope to read the next!

Hollea has had some shitty relationships in life, and is just trying to work & watch hockey games with her friends, and love on her dog. Travis is a hockey player who is excited to be moving up from the farm league. They have a one night stand, but Travis pushes for more.

I enjoyed the found family & banter between all the side characters. I think it was sweet that Travis’s friends almost seemed protective over Hollea.

Great spice, but filled with lots of miscommunication throughout. I didn’t love how they said Travis was like his dad. I also was put off by how Travis didn’t like her dog at first, but he does come around. I enjoyed the buildup but think the pacing was off at the end. I definitely felt rushed and like we jumped from mad to happy without the real work that needs to be done.Overall fun to read.

Thank you to the author for the ARC

I really had high hopes for The Equipment Manager. As a debut offering, the Dallas Snakes world is Mollea's oyster. Hollea and Travis, overall, are a fun couple - good spice, age-gap - but I wish there was more developing dialogue. I don't feel like we (36 yo in some chapters and 37 yo in others, only to go back to being 36 yo) ever fully unpacked Hollea's previous trauma that was constantly referenced (maybe it was there and I missed it). One point that really threw me early is we never get to "see" Travis's apartment - we see the G-Wagon, but I really wished several of the scenes would have been moved to Travis's.

I'd like to see more of the extended friend groups. Hopefully these stories will be explored in future offerings.

On a separate note, several chapters had major editing inconsistencies. This really threw off the rhythm of the story.

This is a great debut book. Honestly it's obviously a debut book- there are parts that seem rushed and not explained enough. The book is 369 pages long and could have easily been 450 if enough detail and conversation had been added.

There's a review on here that complains about Hollea and her lack of therapy for her relationship issues and how she blames Travis for her hang ups and - but honestly without that 80% of the book would be gone. Hollea's issues are most of the story.

Hollea and Travis have great chemistry from the beginning. I do wish there was more conversation between them. Even after his grand gesture we don't get much conversation between them.

Ultimately it's a great debut book. I can't wait to see how Mollea's writing develops.

I enjoyed the story of Hollea and Travis for the most part. At times, Hollea annoyed the heck out of me with her inability to take responsibility for her thoughts, actions and feelings. Her past trauma (never addressed fully or explained) caused damage to hers and Travis's relationship without real reasons behind them.

At the start of the book, Travis was kinda creepy , bordering on stalkerish. Who walks through someone's patio door without an invitation or acknowledgement? I enjoyed Travis's self-reflection and how he made changes to himself.

All in all, the book was enjoyable, if a bit drawn out in places. Reaching for your dreams and having the support system to do so, made the characters come full circle.

I truly loved to read the story of Hollea and Travis. It was their love and hate relationship, and that is what made it so real. Hollea certainly made me feel patient on several occasions due to the manner in which she approached things, though I could still empathize with her- she is imperfect, emotional and is still trying to figure out who she is. I was surprised, however, by Travis. There were some bad times at the beginning but I was glad to see it happen and how hard he was trying to become a better person and to improve himself and Hollea.

All in all, it was an emotional read. Certain sections were a bit lengthy, but the conclusion was a nice wrap up. It is a tale of love, maturation, and how to confront your past in order to be able to start moving on.

I devoured The Equipment Manager in less than 24 hours — it completely pulled me in from the first chapter and didn’t let go. The emotions, the tension, the character development, everything felt so real and alive. I laughed, I swooned, I felt every moment. The characters felt like my best friends by the end of the book. The spice? Let’s just say Mollea Foust knows how to write a scene that will have you blushing and then going back to reread those pages. This was such a captivating, emotional, and downright addictive read. Highly recommend if you love romance that hits you right in the feels and turns up the heat! I can't wait for the next book of this series, like literally - let's go ahead and publish that one too.

This book was what I consider a true romance, the romance between Hollea and Travis was the plot. I received this as an arc last minute and just finished it. He's a hockey player and she's older with lots of baggage. I really enjoyed the writing style. Easy and engaging and made me both laugh and cry. There were 7 spice scenes. My favorite was in ch 35 when the BDSM comes out. My favorite spicy quote was, "you know, I care about you right? Because I'm about to f*** you like. I don't". Travis had such a dirty mouth and was a little obsessed. There is also a hea which is nice. I would highly recommend this book. There is also a great setup for book number two. And I'm really looking forward to it coming out.

Great read and TONS of spice!
Hollea has trust issues from all the men in her life walk away, and former playboy turned obsessed with her, Travis, tries to convince her that he wouldn't walk away. The character development is good, you definitely see a change in them through out the book and how they evolve to become a couple, even if it's hard earned. He puts in a lot of work for her to trust him, and it takes her quite a while to put in any of the work.
Its a good read and I think her debut novel was written and delivered really well! She created quite a few side characters that are set up to have their own books and I am here for it!
I received an ARC in return for an honest review.

This was a really good debut novel for Mollea! Hollea and Travis are drawn to one another, but they both have their own baggage and hangups. They have the chemistry part down, but they struggle to get out of their own way to let each other in. Hollea had some annoying moments for me with the way she treated Travis at times, but I loved the other characters. She definitely grew as the story went along. Spicy and emotional and sweet and romantic. Looking forward to more in this series!

This is a great debut book by Mollea Foust!!

We have hockey, reverse age gap (which I love), one night stand to more. A lot of trauma and healing for both the FMC and the MMC.

It was tough for me at times watching Hollea work through, or really, not work through her trauma. But I loved that she has such a great friend group who were able to be like girl, no. We all need friends like that!

I can't wait to see what comes next!

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🥵 This debut Hockey Romance was a fun and fast read. Hollea, a 36 year old with trust issues and a thing for hockey, meets Travis, an up and coming a B league hockey player . It’s Insta- Love and no matter how hard they try, they can’t keep away from each other. Unfortunately Holleas issues keep pushing Travis away. Will they be able to eventually come together or is it doomed from the start?

The scenes are spicy and plentiful. The banter is cute back and forth and our boy Travis is wrapped around Holleas finger and she has some things to explore 👀.

I loved the Hollea and Travis story! I found Hollea to be relatable in many ways. I mean who hasn’t self sabotaged in a relationship?! And who doesn’t want a man who’s completely obsessed with you, like Travis is with Hollea. Such a great HEA and so much spice!

Love this story!

Fast paced one night stand that ends in a happily ever after. I understood where Hollea was coming from but at some point she just needed to grow up. I’m proud of Travis holding on for so long. I’m glad everything worked out in the end. The comment about Ava has me really wondering what her story is going to be like so I’m excited for that.

✨ Arc Read✨ I had the pleasure of being chosen to Arc read for the first book in the Dallas Snakes Series. As a debut novel Mollea knocked it out of the park . I love a trope where he falls first. Overall great book

Love at first sight, unregulated emotional trauma, HEA, and lots of spice! The characters and story itself could use more substance as it all felt a bit rushed and forced. But hey, I've never written a book so congratulations to Mollea Foust on her debut novel and allowing me an ARC.

I had high hopes for this book and it was good but it fell a little flat. The HEA definitely saved it for me.
