Devoured by the Don completely wrecked me—in the best possible way. From the very first chapter, I was hooked by the tension, the danger, and the sheer chemistry between Bianca and Cesare. Their connection is magnetic, twisted, and passionate, the kind of push-and-pull that keeps you holding your breath and flipping pages long after midnight. A.L. DeRose does an incredible job of making you feel every ounce of power, lust, and vengeance tangled up in this story.
What I loved most was how complex the characters are—Bianca isn’t just a heroine, she’s a force of nature with her own scars and secrets, and Cesare is the perfect mix of ruthless and vulnerable. The writing is bold and cinematic, dripping with emotion and dark romance energy. Every chapter left me needing more, and by the end, I was completely obsessed.

Great Story!!
I absolutely loved reading Devoured By The Don. It captivated me from the beginning and I was hooked until the very end. The chemistry between Bianca and Cesare was steamy HOT and action packed too. Loved their story!!

I have to be honest here, this book was a struggle to get through. It's a revenge story, right. So why did it take, for me as a reader, to finally see anything remotely revenge related, chapters 17-18, for the story to finally gain traction and move in that direction. That's half of the book. I get foundation being put down, possibly world building, but the first half was 25yr old Bianca ((Canizzaro)) Muzzicato getting turned on, being called a dirty sl#t and wh@re, by the new Don Cesare Daldone 41.😮💨 I personally don't like degradation. Cesare's father Mario just passed so why not get down at his funeral?!🪦 Bianca, for me, could not handle the constant control of Cesare and how he touched her, how she was there for revenge and yet, she wanted more and more of him instead. Even at her own expense. Sheesh girl. Get a grip.lol Even her cousin called Bianca out on it. Which I loved.😝 Alessia should have been in the story more. Where's the revenge plan? It got lost. I didn't like Bianca or Cesare very much. No redeeming qualities. There was no connection for them aside from the obvious. Not even emotionally. There was no character development. Just nasty, rough, smut.😂😂 Which is fine, I guess, but I wanted more plot, more reason to be invested.

When the revenge finally took the driver's seat that's when the book finally got on track and moved. It got better. Bianca remembered the plan, her murd3red family. I preferred the second half with it's OTT action ((you'll know what I mean when you read it)) and betrayals, and secrets revealed. The turns will be obvious. Bianca put up with too much, imo, and let Cesare get away with things b/c she was in love with him. She kept saying he wasn't cruel but girl... he actually was. I still don't know how she managed to be at his table but I went with it. Bianca was the invested one. The pregnancy trope was tossed in too.
I'm for mob drama, revenge, so why can't the ladies take control? Ladies can handle their own passions. Walk away every once in awhile. Make the man you want work for it. The men do it all the time in these stories.🤭 Change the dynamic a little bit. These are just suggestions. It was an okay read. I expected something else. The book cover looks great. Cesare Daldone is the new Don after the passing of his father. Bianca is out for revenge after she survived a great tragedy. She originally planned on going after the younger brother Tavi, who would have been an easier target, but then lines become blurred and she falls pregnant with Cesare's child.
I really enjoyed this story and I loved Cesare and his dark, dominating nature who comes alive for Bianca.
She is a strong woman who can play in a man's world and I loved that she could stand for herself.
Generally I am not a fan of the accidental/unplanned pregnancy trope, but this was well written and I actually loved the ending that this story offered.
I love Mafia romances and this book has the history, hierarchy, lies, betrayels and of course such good spice, that makes for a good read. I would definitely recommend this book.

These Dons just get hotter and hotter and Cesare is no exception, mix in one kickass fierce FMc out for revenge and you have a winner of a book. Bianca is out for revenge on the family that destroyed her family but she never encountered the chemistry between her and the new Don. This was exciting, dramatic, intense and so very spicy. Amazing characters that just sizzled the pages, I just couldn’t put this book down. If you enjoy all of the above then this read is a must.

Received this a as an ARC. It took me a couple of chapters to get into this book. Idk why but once I finally was able to get into it, I loved the characters. The FMC was strong and smart and the MMC was exactly as you would expect a male Don to be (book wise, lol).

She has played the long game, determined to get revenge for her family. They were all murdered years ago leaving her the only survivor. When she finally gets close enough to enact her plan, the old Don dies and his son rises to power. She shifts her plan to use him, but she quickly gets in over her head. He knows to be suspicious of her, and thinks he will use her to find out her plans but he becomes more entangled than he intended. When things go desperately south, she might be the only one he can actually rely on. This came off a little crude for me, not in gritty, but as in unpolished. There was definitely a high spice factor and it was very steamy, and often. I just felt that other aspects of the story and character development were lacking a bit for me.

Cesare is the new Don after his father passes, and he sees Bianca at his father’s funeral but does not know who she is, but when he sees her with his brother, he knows she is not into him, and that she is up to something.
This is a well written easy to read, fast paced story, with family, friendships, emotions, complex characters, secrets, tension, loyalty, enemies / lovers, an age gap, vengeance, revelations, trust, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, dark romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This is an age gap, enemies to lovers mafia romance between Bianca and Cesare. These flawed but likeable characters and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. What starts out as revenge turns into something more. It is a love story with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, lies and betrayals, danger and desire, family dynamic, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. Seriously entertaining.

Bianca Canizzaro attended the funeral of Don Mario Daldone where she meets his two sons, Cesare and Taviano. The new Don is Cesare the oldest of his sons. Bianca wants revenge for what his family has done to hers and has changed her last name to Muzzicato in order to stay alive. If the Daldone’s knew she was alive they would kill her. This is such a great book.

OMG!!! This book is too good for words, and I can't wait for you to read it as well.
What a gripping & thrilling ride Bianca and Cesare take you on from the beginning to very end. There is lots of action both in and out of the bedroom and the characters are incredibly hot & sexy with a HEA ending.
