Just finished another absolutely incredible story from one of my favourite authors — and I have the honour of saying I got to alpha read this one 😈🩷 I am so grateful for every opportunity like this, and I do not take a single one for granted 🥺✨
This is finally Simone and Asmodeus' story, and I have to confess — I never saw him coming 😤 I thought I knew what to expect from Asmodeus. I was wrong. So wonderfully, deliciously wrong. All I will say is: my little fairy 🧚♂️ swoon 😮💨
Liana captivated me from the very first page — as she always does — with that effortless writing style that makes you forget you are even reading ✨ The banter is sharp, the sass is constant, the dirty talk will make you put your phone face down for a second, and her humour is woven through everything in a way that just makes you fall even harder for her characters 😭🩷
I don't want to spoil a single thing, so you are going to have to trust me on this one. This story has it all — delicious spice that will make you squirm 🔥, emotions so deep she had me sobbing at one point 😭, and a plot that kept me completely on my toes from beginning to end. Liana never misses. Never.
I cannot wait for you all to get your hands on this one ✨

Because I know what I would have been doing 🤣 AND What does this mean for Sataniel’s overall plans? Nope, I haven’t forgotten his scheming one bit! Don’t worry, we get our answers 😈

I did not expect to be in my feels when reading this one! Simone’s past is one that will have you wishing you could pluck her out of the story and bring her into your arms to surround her with unconditional love. When she meets Asmodeus, the last thing she’s willing to give out trust (rightfully so), and he’s got all the time in the world to be patient with his little fairy. I did not expect for Az to come in and sweep me off my feet. The morally gray demon of lust was determined, patient, possessive, obsessive, kind (to Simone, he can’t be nice to everyone lol, he does have a court to rule), and willing to do whatever it takes for Simone to truly see him and his intentions. Their relationship development is a slow burn that once it ignites? Whew! Hello, demon form spice (I get it Simone, I’d ask for that too 🤣).
Do yourselves a favor and start this series!

I've been waiting for this book for a long time!
It's not like Liana left us hanging cause we got multiple books in this series in the meantime but I've been wanting Simone and Asmodeus' story and knowing it was coming since book one!
We finally got it and it did not dissapoint! Liana had me hooked from the first page again and if it wasn't for adulting I would've inhaled it in one sitting!
In the other books we already find out that Simone comes from a troubled family and a troubled past. In the beginning of this book we find out to what extent and why Simone is so introverted.
Due to her past Simone is reluctant to trust and won’t let any man come close again till a certain Archdemon of lust gets obsessed with her and kidnaps her to make her fall in love with him.
Asmodeus is THE playboy. I mean he is lord and master of lust with a LONG history of all kinds of debauchery so he would be the last person you would except to be able to tear down her walls.
He is used to just taking what he wants hence the kidnapping but he finds Simone less than enthusiastic. She rightfully doesn't trust his motives but Asmodeus surprises us in the best way with his affection, devotion and patience, making her walls come crumbling down eventually.
Their love was sweeter than I expected and I loved every minute of it!
And as usual I LOVED reading about all the familiar characters from the previous books!

I am always excited to read Liana’s books and this one did not disappoint. This series is one of my favourites by far.
We finally get to read Simone and Asmodeus’s story and what a story it is! He is not the Archdemon I expected and that just makes me love him more 🥰
The humour is fun - I loved when Sariel said “No offense, Uncle Asmo, but you’re like a pod person.” That made me chuckle SO much 😂, the banter is great and the spice? Well … it will make you hot 🔥 especially when Az is in his Archdemon form yum!
In the previous books you get to hear about Asmodeus and Simone’s disappearance but no real details so this read wraps it all up in a perfect package with their love as the cherry on the top. It is such a fantastic read, I can’t wait for more in this series.

Another lovely sequel in The Rivers of Hell series, following the human Simone and the archdemon Az. I truly love these characters. The innocent broken girl in need of healing, the evil archdemon learning what love is while also helping the girl to heal. It was just so nice to see their relationship develop. In general, it was a beautiful story with great spice! Liana never fails with her writing.
The only critique I have is that it felt less exciting since the situation felt too familiar as book 1, and it also happened during book 1 so maybe thats why it felt a bit more 'basic' for me. But that didn't stop me from loving it! Thank you Liana for this lovely story.

This queen is BAAAAAAAACK and what a book!
Devils, angels and everything in-between! Our FMC took my breath away in the first chapter from her utterly devastating trauma, only to see me grinning like a cat that got the cream when she gets what she deserves, by being wooed by the DEMON OF FRICKIN LUST!!!! Hell yesssssss!
This book definitely delivers for fans of this hellish universe!!!! The emotive plot is perfect, the spice - incredible as always, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the new characters. I need moooooooore 😋
