A 7 page Amazon freebie short story. There were a lot of words foreign to most readers for which no explanation was given. I still have no idea what the sect the children belonged to believes in. The clothing wasn't described well enough for me to picture it adequately. I also have no idea of when in time the story was set. I found myself oscillating from modern outback to settler as the story continued. There wasn't time in the 7 pages to get to know the characters well enough or the culture they came from. Frustrating.
