I forgot to add these as was reading them but I think The Climber is one of the best pieces of fiction I have read in A long while. Explores the power that one can have when setting his mind on a goal but at the cost of loneliness and how that affects one person in such a pursuit of greatness.

As expected after the short breather there is more tension then ever. He's finally happy. So much development in one single book. Probably the best volume or at least on par with 4.
Now that I've read all teh physical releases I have to say that i wish dark horse picked this series up and not viz. If it had deluxe edition like bererk It would be an even better read with the paper and ink quality that dark horse has. But I'm still happy with what we got since the covers are amazing.

Impressive as always. The art is magnificent. It is wild how the story of his life and climbs he makes overlay in such a way. I also enjoy the level of symbolism employed to tell the tale. It is almost like a pipe dream at moments. It comes to mind that his life had to be quite lonely until Kato and hopefully he finds some peace with her.
