The perfect holiday romance with a wicked temptation to surrender.
HOLLY After my vanilla boyfriend dumps me on the way to Cozumel, I check myself into Vixen's Paradise — an adults-only resort where fantasies come to life. One impulsive decision later, I’ve agreed to five days of pleasure and discovery with the resort’s owner. Noel is a pleasure Dom who makes my pulse race and my defenses crumble. I want him — but I swore I’d never lose myself to a Dom again. NOEL Since my wife’s death, I’ve built a sanctuary for others to explore desire — but I never believed love was still possible for me. Then I meet Holly. She’s everything I didn’t know I needed, and when she agrees to be mine for five days, the grief I’ve carried starts to ease. I want more than just a week. This Christmas, I’ll show her what it means to be cherished, body and soul.
The first book in the Sinful Delights Series, Five Days of Christmas Spice is a steamy holiday romance about surrender, healing, and finding your forever after in the most unexpected place. Five Days of Christmas Spice was originally published in 2023 and has been lightly edited for formatting consistency with added spicy content. No changes to the original plot have been made. Enjoy this holiday romance!
This was an interesting kinky xmas novella. Loved the main characters. Lots of spice, emotions, love eventually, and a cute happy ending. Perfect steamy read after a few darker reads.
One of the kinks wasn't for me, made me uncomfortable, but it was definitely good for the FMC. *wink, wink*
Will continue the series. Hope there will be books for all the brothers. I'm definitely invested in reading their stories.

I read this in one go, it was a nice read with light spice and D/s relationship. Noel is still grieving the loss of his wife 3 years ago and Holly is reeling from the unexpected breakup with her 3 year vanilla boyfriend. Vixen's Paradise is the thing that brings them together without them realizing it.
There were some misspelled words and sometimes the wording was off.

It was the first BDSM book I've ever read so i have no idea how accurate the depiction was. Though I liked how Noel took care of Holly after each scene and act. How he washed her hair and her body, fed her, praised her, and cared for her. It was sweet.
There was one scene that made me extremely uncomfortable but I guess it was good for the character as she needed it?? I guess?? It was hard for me to read though lol.
The wax scene was hot, I loved that.
I wasn't a fan of the dialogue and dirty talk during sex scenes though. Idk, I found it all basic and lacking something. There were too many screams and exclamations, but not enough description of how it made them feel except for "the orgasms tore through her/him" or that her mind was empty , or how wet she was. That was too little for me. I wanted to read about heart thumping in their chest, how they were short of breath, how their skin was on fire from touch, the awareness of the other person's proximity etc. So I found the writing mostly disappointing.
Also, what the heck was that ending? So they have kinky sex for 5 days and they're suddenly in love and want to get married?? After 5 days??? Are you kidding me?? At the beginning, Noel was still grieving his wife and wasn't ready to commit. And now, 5 days later he suddenly wants to marry Holly?? Come on. Like, seriously. Be real with me for a second. He grieves his wife. She gets dumped by her long time boyfriend (of 3 years!!) via text and then, 5 days later, they're suddenly so in love and ready for marriage???? No. Absolutely not. It took me out of the story and immediately lost another point.
And then the epilogue dragged, it was so long and yet nothing happened. This epilogue was only there to set up the next book in the series but I didn't like it lol. Could have been done over the phone.
Also, I was convinced that it would be Theo who'd get the next book, seeing as his adventures were mentioned throughout the book, and Evan's troubles in the epilogue came out of nowhere. I much preferred Theo being set up as the next protagonist.
That being said, I won't be reading anymore books in the series, the writing is not for me. And seriously, a proposal after 5 DAYS????
Five Days of Christmas Spice is the first book in the new Sinful Delights series, and as an opening book, I was pleased with what I read. While it gives us a brief introduction to the Brennon brothers and has me looking forward to their stories, this one focuses on Noel and his new love interest, Holly.
The Brennon brothers own several kink-positive establishments, one of which is Vixen's Paradise, a hotel in a small town offering people the chance to get away for some naughty fun. However, the hotel borders on a small farm, which the brothers want to acquire, but the owners keep saying no. Holly happens to own the farm with her cousin; it was their grandmother's, and so they've been reluctant to let it go, but when Holly gets dumped at Christmas, she heads out to the hotel to let loose but also to make a decision about her grandmother's home.
Meeting each other on the plane, Noel and Holly instantly hit it off and agreed to spend the next five days together, enjoying a very merry kinkmas. Noel isn't aware of who Holly is, so she decides to keep it quiet. They are both damaged in their own way: him from being widowed, her from years of abuse by her dad, then her ex-dom, and then her ex-boyfriend, who just dumped her, didn't show he cared, so she has some serious hangups.
While I agree their time together is kinky, it's on the softer side. Noel himself is a soft Dom and more about pleasure than punishment, which is good for Holly as she is triggered by some of the harsher elements of the scene. That doesn't mean the book isn't spicy, though, as they certainly manage to drive each other wild, teasing and exploring together.
It's very fast-paced and also very much insta-lust/love, although the secrets and lack of communicating their true feelings do hinder them slightly, causing a third-act breakup and some angst, but it's soon rectified. I really enjoyed the way the author created the characters and the story around them. It did slip in a couple of places where it seemed to flit between 1st and 3rd person POV, but on the whole, it used the 1st person POV of both characters to explain their thoughts and feelings, which helped me get behind them.
Five days. No strings. One unforgettable surrender.
When Holly checks into Vixen’s Paradise for a solo holiday escape, she’s expecting quiet, maybe a little indulgence, and definitely no feelings. But when Noel, a commanding Dom carrying more grief than he lets on, offers her five days of play with no attachments, she says yes. What starts as an escape turns into something impossible to ignore. Their connection is immediate, their chemistry electric, and every scene draws them closer.
Noel guides Holly through sensation, power, and care in ways she didn’t know she craved. She starts dropping her guard, one layer at a time, while he begins to imagine something beyond loss. The rules blur as trust grows, but Holly’s hiding something that could change everything. Their time together may be limited, but the feelings aren’t.
They're supposed to walk away, no strings. But love doesn’t check out on schedule. Between grief and rediscovery, control and surrender, they’ll have to decide what comes after five unforgettable days.
Holly starts out guarded and in control, her ambition a shield. Noel keeps his heart locked down, afraid to want again. But together, they grow. She leans into vulnerability, and he lets himself feel. What begins as temporary becomes something deeply real, shaped by trust, care, and desire.
A steamy, kink-positive holiday romance featuring forced proximity, opposites attract, boss babe energy, and a soft-hearted Dom who falls first. It explores grief, control, rediscovery, sexual liberation, emotional vulnerability, dominance and submission, found family, and second chances. It’s about healing through intimacy, trusting after loss, and finding a love that sees you, holds you, and never asks you to be less.
The Elevator Pitch: A steamy holiday fling turns into something deeper when a sharp-tongued executive meets a soft-hearted Dom at an adults-only resort. Five days of kink and no-strings play unravel into trust, intimacy, and unexpected emotion. It's steamy, charged, and wrapped in the kind of tension that lingers long after the lights go out.
Vixen’s Paradise (great name, by the way) is an adults-only resort, which let’s be honest, basically means it’s a sex club with lots of extra amenities. When Holly meets Noel on her flight, she has no clue they’re headed to the same hedonistic destination. Fresh off a breakup with her painfully vanilla boyfriend, I was already raising an eyebrow when she accepted Noel’s dinner invite… but agreeing to five days of kinky exploration with a stranger? Color me shocked. Noel is part-owner of the resort, and he hasn’t played with a sub since losing his wife three years earlier, but something about Holly wakes up desires he thought were gone for good. What he doesn’t know is that Holly owns the neighboring farm the resort has been trying to buy. But fearing it’ll change everything between them, Holly keeps that little detail tucked away. Holly’s eager to rediscover a side of herself she buried after a bad experience with a previous Dom, and Noel turns out to be exactly the partner she needs: patient, attuned and focused on building her desire rather than relying on punishment. He’s a pleasure Dom through and through, guiding her gently back into the lifestyle. And yes, they explore a broad buffet of kinks, though I’ll admit the pet play had me giggling more than swooning (arf, arf). What I loved most was Noel’s unwavering attention to Holly—before, during, and after every scene. As trust deepens, Holly learns how to fully surrender and realizes she’s been craving this level of care all along. Noel sees past her fierce independence to the woman who longs to be held, protected, and cherished. Unfortunately, the magic kept getting interrupted by the editing issues: missing words, spelling slip-ups, and some phrases that just… weren’t phrasing. And what happened to the fourth day of Kinkmas? Still, if you’re craving a touch of kink without diving into anything too intense, this might be exactly the escape you’re looking for. Part of the Sinful Delights series the Brennon brothers own kink establishments this one is featuring Vixen’s Paradise a hotel in a small town that offers a get away for some fun usually they buy the land but this hotel sits next to a small farm and they have tried to buy it from the owner but the owner isn’t willing to sell due the farm having sentimental value. Holly is a sweetheart who owns the farm the brothers have been trying to buy for a while her grandmother left it to her but when her ex. breaks up with her on Christmas, she decides to head to the hotel to one experience it and two just to see why they have been wanting to buy her land maybe help her decide rather to sell or keep her grandmother’s land. Noel sexy as all get out Brennon brother part owner of the kink establishments a widow with trust issues headed to Vixen’s Paradise meeting Holly on her way to the same hotel for a little letting go but she has trust issues after being raised by an abusive father, then an abusive Dom and now her ex. boyfriend just dumping her didn’t show he cared so to say she has issues is an understatement and needing to let go is a must. Noel proves to be just the Dom she needs he is soft on the punishment aspect focusing more on the pleasure which is good since she has triggers from childhood but he works to gain her trust , she works to understand his loss, but can they work together to see the bigger picture, do she understand why they wanted to buy her grandmother’s land, will they be honest with each other about their feelings, and can they find happiness despite what they have been through?
This is the first book in the Sinful Delights series. Holly got dumped and sworn off love so what happens when she checks into Vixen’s Paradise. She meets the owner Noel, who is a Dom, and the next thing she is going is committing to 5 days of exploring her interests. After Noel’s wife passed away he did not think love was on the table for him again. So when he started to fall for Holly and he even fell first he did not want to lose her.
Noel was so understanding and patient with Holly making sure she was comfortable and going at her pace. They had 5 days of sizzling spice and Noel made sure to explore what Holly wanted. After the 5 days Holly had to return home and did not really say goodbye. So she did not expect it when Noel showed up at her door steps. Holly wanted Noel but did not want to lose herself to another Dom but she was happy, safe, cared for and in love with Noel. I am excited to read more of this series!
Five Days of Christmas Spice is a cute little quick read which was nice after my constant foray into Dark Romance. Holly and Noel meet on a plane, both on their way to Noel's Adult Playground and decide to spend the length of her stay together. Noel is a soft Dom to Holly's Submissive.
There are several different adult experiences explored; nothing tooooo crazy, but as always, mind your TWs. The spice has a bit of variety, although our MMC is kind of repetitive in his word choices.
An Insta-love/Insta lust story, it also features a minor miscommunication trope with a tiny 3rd act breakup, quickly rectified by the MMC, Noel.
There are several instances of changes in POV from 1st to 3rd and some odd turn of phrase that kind of stick out, but overall cute story, with a lead into other stories featuring Noel's 3 brothers.
I was lucky enough to read this story as an ARC and am giving an honest review.
I liked that these two were able to not only find each other but be brave enough to exploring what was growing between them, they had both known pain, sorrow and grief and had chosen to lock part of themselves away. I thought Holly showed such bravery to put her trust in Noel and be so open with him, Noel showed he was worthy of her trust in the way he was with her. I felt for them both and wanted to hug Noel as he handled his new feelings along with his old ones. In each other they both found what they needed, I am pleased they were able to work through things, that they had good support, and that they choose each other and a future together.

Kinkmas is the best time of the year! Holly and Noel are aptly named, hotter than magma, and perfectly suited for each other. His lifestyle resort becomes her kinky fantasy adventure and he is the best Dom as he gains her trust. She touches his heart and soul with her beautiful responsiveness. There’s nonstop D/s, pampering, and healing during their 5 days. I love how the author kept Holly and Noel’s relationship growing and even though the emotional connection is quick it’s believable. I loved it and can’t wait to read more!.

This is my for time reading from this author and she did not disappoint from beginning to end. This was definitely an interesting Christmas novella. I love the kink, characters, love, and a HEA. A definite page turner i couldn’t and wouldn’t put it down. The SPICE is 🥵🥵🥵 but there is plot which i absolutely love.
While there are many kinks out there i always end up finding a new one. This one is no different but i can see why she thoroughly enjoys it. Noel and Holly were made for each other I’m so glad they found one another.
Will recommend this book especially for a holiday read. Hopefully the brothers all get a book of their own they sound like an interesting bunch.
This is the 1st book in the Sinful Delights series featuring a kinky steamy Christmas story about two lost souls who have both been hurt so they're both cautious with their emotions. When they meet at the airport and discover that they're going to the same place they decide make a no strings attached deal. They agree to spend the 5 days together exploring their kinks. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this kinky, steamy Christmas story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Five Days of Christmas Spice by Mercy Denton is the first book of the Sinful Delights series. After being dumped by her vanilla boyfriend on the way to Cozumel Holly decided to check in to Vixen's Paradise. Vixen's Paradise is an adults only resort where fantasies come to life. There she meets Noel, a Dom who built a place for others to explore desire after his wife passed away. When they meet there is an instant connections between the two of them. Their story is one you won't want to miss. I am looking forward to reading the others in the series.

Five Days of Christmas Spice is the 1st book in the Sinful Delights series and also the first book I've read by this Canadian author. It's a wonderful tale of two hurt people deciding on a kinky, no strings attached companionship over the holidays. Their five days of 'KInkmas' are full of steamy sexy times - each day being devoted to a different kink - and more and more tender moments. There is a bit of angst before the wonderful HEA and I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next book.

Holly is having an awful Christmas, Noel no longer enjoys celebrating the season, but on a plane to Toronto, these two still manage to make a connection. That connection becomes five days of play and then so much more. I loved how valued Noel made Holly feel, calling her his present and bringing her so much pleasure. And I was so amused at Holly’s continued focus of Noel’s ridiculously/perfectly symmetrical lips - who doesn’t love a man with kissable lips! This story left me with the best warm fuzzies, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the brothers’ stories.
Fresh out of a vanilla relationship, Holly decides to visit Vixen’s Paradise just to see what it is about. Still kinda griefing his wife, Noel is also going to Vixen’s Paradise to check on the place and his friends. The instaconnection between Noel & Holly is amazing. They connect over their desire to explore their kinks with each other and to see if this connection is real. The spice in this book is hot. This book will not be for everyone so please check trigger warnings. But I am excited to continue this series.
This is a great start to a new series. I loved Holly and Noel and they are pure fire together. Many times in stories like this one negotiations are left out or glossed over. This author includes them in a way that doesn’t detract from the story and, in my opinion, enhances it. Nothing is hotter than enthusiastic consent. The spice in this story is so yummy and creative. I devoured this book in less than a day. I cannot wait for the next book to come out!
Holly has just broken up with her boyfriend who was vanilla so she decides it time to visit the Vixen Paradise for two reasons, first to see and experience what they offered also to decide if she should sell the farm that the hotel wants to purchase for the land. Holly agrees to spend five days with Noel who hasn’t gotten over the lost of his wife. These two really become quite smitten very fast. It’s a great spicy story of people finding love again for the second time.
Fun and definitely hot book. Holly has to get away. Her fiancé has called things off right before the wedding. She decides instead of going on the planned trip to head back to her roots and check out the resort that is trying to buy the family land. While on her journey she meets an amazing man. And guess what he is the owner of the kinky resort. And so begins the five days of kinkmas. Let the fun and the heat begin. Enjoy this read.
Normally this is definitely my kind of book but this one felt boring to me. I will give it 3 stars but it's closer to 2,5 stars.
Holly and Noel are both kinky people who have had their heart broken but luckily they find each other and starts to play together as a christmas present for 5 days. Their days are filled with d/s relationship, Puppy play, ice and wax play, spanking, nipple play and lots of orgasmes.
*Arc Review * 5/🌶️ Five Days of Christmas Spice is a steamy Christmas read. It’s the first book in the Sinful Delight Series. This book is about two people that meet at the airport and happen to be going to the same place. They strike a deal to spend five days of kinkmas together with no strings attached and get to explore the kinks they want with each other. This book does have a happy ending.
Good second-chance-at-love story, where both Noel and Holly have a chance to indulge and explore their fantasies together in the safe haven of Vixen’s Paradise and each other’s arms. But perhaps, they were always meant to meet to begin with…
I enjoyed reading Holly and Noel's Christmas story. I found it to be well worth reading. This is a new Author to me and seems to be her debut book. I will be looking to see what else she puts out. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
3.5 ⭐️ Stepping out of my genre comfort zone with this one, a spicy Christmas novella. It’s a quick read with lots of kink (one of them definitely was not for me & made me uncomfortable). But Noel & Holly are likable characters that you can’t help but root them on in their intoxicating romance.
It's a great get you in the mood type book. But it's goes super fast. No real development. It honestly would have been btr leaving it at the end of kinkmas vs trying end it in a happy ever after.
Great kinky novella, enjoyed it. Think it had real potential to be a complete story with plenty of spice. Marked down as once they said I love yous, the OTT extent of their declarations were too much for me.
I have never been this confused by a book in the first chapter. I felt like I was missing chunks of information. What is Cozumel? There were certain parts of dialogue that made me feel lost. idk
This one was such a fun, spicy and sweet book that was perfect for this time of year. Holly is so relatable with her trauma holding her back from embracing her true love. Noel is so charming and a wonderful representation of a gentle Dom.
