Rate this book
Running Shoes is a survivor’s sprint toward truth. In this fiercely honest memoir, Carole Sanek writes about the moment she stopped running from her past and started running toward herself. With grit, grace, and flashes of humor, she unlaces the silence of trauma and walks readers through the raw terrain of healing — one blistered, beautiful step at a time.

Book 2 of the trilogy was just as heart-wrenching as Book 1; however, one sentence struck me as it’s true for each and every of us, “You deserve love that doesn’t hurt.”
