Lockdown Corner by Ava Sutton eARC Review 🏈

Give me a college football romance and I will eat it up any day. This story was no exception. Silas and Brooke are it.

Silas is down bad from the very beginning. Brooke is with the wrong man and he is going to do everything in his power to make her his. She needs to be treated with the love and respect that she deserves and he knows that he is the man to do it. He is such a sweetheart, walking green flag of a man and I just loved his character so much. He is not afraid to go after what he wants and what he wants is Brooke.

Brooke struggles with anxiety and panic attacks from past triggers. I loved how real and raw this part of her story is and Ava did such a good job representing that. Silas is the calm to her storm. He grounds her and makes her feel safe and seeing how they are together is just so sweet and heartwarming.

What to expect:
College football
Opposites attract
Dating the wrong person (her)
Love at first sight (him)
Brothers friend/ teammates

Thank you so much Ava and Wordsmith for the arc!

I think this series just keeps getting better! I can’t get enough of this group of characters. This friends to lovers, teammates sister was a great addition!

I have been so excited for Silas’ story and oh boy did this man shine! Ava did such a wonderful job with both he and Brooke’s story. I enjoyed every moment I got to spend with them and didn’t want it to be over!

Silas is an amazing character, the way he is swoony, sweet, sexy and head over heals for Brooke is the best. He isn’t shy about his feelings, treats her like the queen she is and doesn’t hesitate to tell and show her everything she deserves.

Brooke was a beautiful character, she had my heart. Seeing her deal with trauma from her childhood hurt but also had cheering her on the whole time. I loved her growth and self discovery throughout the book.
When she is told she should let loose and do something for herself, she sure does! In a epic way too!
I felt so proud of her, especially when she opened up to Silas and all the possibilities being with him has.

Silas and Brooke are just perfect for eachother. I enjoyed what they bring out of one another, but also how they just fit in the best ways. They are adorable, fun, playful and spicy! Seeing them discover all they can be together with love and support made me happy.

There was a lot these two had to work through. The story was paced well and had a little bit of everything that kept me fully engaged and excited to see how it would all turn out!

I gobbled this book right up!!

Falling in love with Silas was made easy. I couldn’t get enough of him. This man was completely gone for Brooke in all the best ways, no hesitation, no games, just absolute certainty that she deserves more than what she’s settling for. And he wasn’t wrong.

Watching him step up, speak his feelings, and show her what real care looks like made him an instant favorite. He is what we want in real life. He is soft, steady, and unapologetically all in with her, and I loved every second of it. The way that Silas being her safe place, her grounding force, and her biggest supporter was everything for me.

The way that Ava wrote Brooke’s story just hits. In the most honest way in my opinion. Her anxiety and panic attacks are written with so much care. It all felt so real. Seeing her navigate past trauma while learning to choose herself felt raw and empowering.

Her father broke my heart at times for Brooke. But I 100% get his motives as a parent. She is young and has never do anything out of the ordinary. I GET IT!

I can’t wait to see what comes next from Ava. Her books are my absolute favorite.

What to Expect:
🏈College Football Romance
🏈Dating the Wrong Person (Her)
🏈Spontaneous x Serious
🏈Love at First Sight (Him)
🏈Brother’s Friend/Teammate

Thank you so incredibly much Ava Sutton for allowing me to read a copy of the eARC.

✨ARC REVIEW✨ 4.5⭐️ I was so excited for Brooke and Silas and this one was EVERYTHING I wanted and more!! Silas has always been infatuated with Brooke but she’s been in a relationship so she’s off limits. But that won’t stop him from showing her just how horrible the guy really is for her. He wants his shot so when he’s sees his opportunity he takes it. One reckless night in Vegas and now they are married and trying to figure out what the rest of their lives will look like. Silas knows she’s so much more than the front that she puts on for everyone and he wants her to see that. All he needs is her to give him a chance so he can prove to her just how good they are together. But with his career in football heating up and her years left in college will they be able to face it all and make the marriage work?

I have absolutely adored this series and these two were no exception!! This was such a fun take on the married in Vegas trope! Silas is so so good to Brooke and it just made me so happy seeing the ways he stood up for her. He wants her to know her own strength and is only there to help build her up. Love all the cameos from the other characters in this series…especially Beck and his protective big brother ways!! They both deserved some happiness in their life and finding it with each other was even better!!

Tropes:
✨Football Romance
✨Brother’s friend/teammate

That boy is trouble with a capital T. And I like it. A little too much.

“I knew you were trouble.”

My wife. My home. My forever.

All I can see is you. You’re so beautiful. And mine.

"Listen, I married you. I may have made the decision lightly but I take my commitments seriously and this is very real for me. I wasn't lying about that. I'm not going anywhere."

"YOU'VE BEEN DATING THE WRONG KIND OF GUYS."

I'M IN LOVE WITH HER. Completely. IN A WAY THAT DOESN'T ASK PERMISSION OR WAIT FOR GOOD TIMING. IN A WAY
THAT'S SETTLED ITSELF INTO MY BONES WITHOUT ME NOTICING.

I DIDN'T MARRY HIM BECAUSE HE WON A GAME OR BECAUSE WE WERE CAUGHT UP IN THE EXCITEMENT. I married him
because of who he is when the noise dies down.

THE WHITE WEDDING CHAPEL WE FOUND
SMELLS LIKE ROSES, CHAMPAGNE, AND BAD DECISIONS. AND YEAH, THIS MIGHT BE CRAZY out I've never felt surer about anything in my life.

No one kisses me like you do.

My husband Silas.

I get to call you my wife.

HE'S BECOME MY SAFE SPACE. THE PERSON MY BODY RELAXES AROUND BEFORE MY BRAIN CAN CATCH UP.

I have an idea…. Let’s get married.

Today I got the trophy. Tonight. I’m gonna get the girl.

He makes me feel free. I like this version of me that I am with him.

I’m in love with her. Completely. In a way that doesn’t ask permission or wait for good timing. In a way that’s settled itself into my bones with out me noticing.

I’m gonna make this girl fall hard, and never let her go.

She carries a quiet strength that doesn t ask to be noticed, and I don't think she realizes how rare that is.

Sweet dreams cupcake,
Night trouble.

I want to be the first thing you touch in the morning and the last thing you taste at night

I choose you, every down. Drive. Every season.

I couldn’t wait for Silas and Brooke’s story! He came out of no where, and I loved every minute of it! The way Silas falls so hard for Brooke and he wanted everyone to know… and she has a boyfriend. Silas is patient, waiting for her and being her friend. Supporting her. A slow burn romance. And when brooke tries to backtrack and push him away Silas was steady and there for her.
When things get rough Silas fights for Brooke instead of walking away. Silas let her know he’s always there for her, no matter what life throws at them.
I loved Silas how he supported brooke and loved with his whole heart! And Brooke seeing her grow and work through her anxiety and her trauma and it was written beautifully.
You definitely need to check this series out! What a beautiful ending

I inhaled Lockdown Corner like it was the fourth quarter and my heart was the ball. Ava Sutton had me HOOKED. This book is messy in the best way. Emotional, swoony, slightly reckless, and absolutely drenched in chemistry.

Silas and Brooke… whew. The tension alone could power a stadium. Teammate’s little sister is already dangerous territory, but add years of quiet longing, unspoken understanding, and that one wild Vegas night? I was gone. Silas doesn’t just see Brooke, he knows her. The strength she hides. The weight she carries. The way she’s been protected so much she was never really chosen. And the fact that he’s been choosing her all along? Stop it. I’m unwell.

The Vegas marriage trope never gets old for me, but this one hits harder because the timing is so wrong and the feelings are so right. His career taking off. Her future still fragile and forming. Everyone ready to call it a mistake. And Silas saying, nah, I don’t want easy, I want her. Sir. Immediate book boyfriend status. 🏈🔥

Brooke is not a pushover. I loved her quiet resilience, her softness paired with backbone, and the way she grows into herself without losing who she is. Their chemistry is off the charts, the kind that crackles in small moments and explodes in big ones. Every glance. Every almost-touch. Every “we shouldn’t but we are anyway” choice.

This book made me feel everything. I smiled, I stressed, I swooned, I yelled at my Kindle, and I finished it with that satisfied, full-heart feeling that only a really good sports romance gives you. Ava Sutton absolutely delivered.

If you love football romance, Vegas chaos, forced proximity, and a man who wants to lock it down instead of running away… pick this up immediately. I loved them. I loved this story. Five stars, no notes, still thinking about Silas and Brooke. 💙✨

"Next year, when the clock strikes midnight, it'll be my lips you'll e missing. I promise you that."
-Silas

Brooke & Silas. She's dealing with being the one who doesn't cause trouble and doesn't need anything. He's the biomedical engineering major who also happens to be a college football star and he sees her. It seems like their relationship is intalust/love, but knowing that they have known each other for a long time and have been circling the same friend group - that means they know more about each other than maybe we see at first. And when they get married in Vegas on a whim, to me, it didn't seem so crazy. They're friends who get along so well and who are attracted to each other. People have married for worse so I was all in on their relationship and they proved that it was the right path!

Love these two main characters together (and apart) - they are both good friends, good people, and then good together. I love that they are portrayed as mature enough to be able to speak their feelings and their minds, can respect each other and their families/friends, and stand up for themselves. Silas' family is so amazing and accepting, and Brooke's family (her dad and brother specifically) are very protective, but luckily, have known Silas and didn't go too far.

This is the second Walker University Stallions book I have read - each can be read as a standalone and I'll be back for the others! I received a complimentary eARC and my review is voluntary. Thank you to the author and Wordsmith Publicity.

Lockdown Corner is the kind of romance that wraps tight around your emotions, blocks every exit, and keeps you captive until the very last page.

Once again, Ava Sutton delivers an unforgettable love story in the fifth outstanding installment of the Walker University Stallions series. From the moment the story begins, it locks you firmly in its grasp and refuses to let go. I loved Silas from the start—his personality instantly pulled me in, but it was the way he fell first for Brooke that completely stole my heart. His devotion is pure, unwavering, and impossibly swoon-worthy.

The prologue sets the emotional tone beautifully, and from there the story digs deep, unearthing all the feels. Even though Brooke’s brother has gone pro, her close bond with his fiancée—still studying at Walker—keeps her firmly connected to the Stallions and right in Silas’s orbit. What follows is a Vegas wedding that proves what happens in Vegas definitely doesn’t stay in Vegas.

But Lockdown Corner is so much more than a surprise marriage. It’s the story of a young woman carrying a past that will break your heart, and a man who has waited patiently for the woman he never believed he could have. Add in sizzling chemistry, emotional depth, and a hero who earns his book-boyfriend status page after page, and you have a romance that completely delivers.

Lockdown Corner is a reminder that the greatest love stories are built on patience, devotion, and the courage to finally claim what your heart has always known.

ARC Review
⭐4/5
🌶️2.5/5

Silas came out of nowhere and somehow became one of the best book boyfriends in the series. He was completely head over heels for Brooke and never once tried to hide it from her or from anyone around them.

Brooke is used to being made small. She is a people pleaser who follows the rules, avoids conflict, and rarely speaks up for herself. She carries a lot of guilt from a painful childhood incident where her brother had to protect her from something terrible, and because of that, she feels like she has no right to make mistakes. So, when she is the one who suggests a spontaneous Vegas wedding with Silas, it feels wild, unexpected, and honestly one of the best decisions she could have made.

Silas does not just love her, he shows up for her. He validates her feelings, protects her, and looks for solutions instead of problems. A man with that level of emotional intelligence is always a win in my book.

My only small complaint is that the story felt a bit short, and Brooke’s character development felt slightly unfinished. I would not have minded a few more chapters of them falling in love and her finally finding peace after all the storms she has been carrying.

That said, if you are in the mood for a short college sports romance with a Vegas wedding, you should definitely give this one a try!

Lockdown Corner ( Walker University Stallions Book 5 ) ⭐️Friends to lovers ⭐️opposites attract ⭐️Brothers Best Friend ⭐️he falls first and hard ⭐️tattooed MMC Perfection absolutely perfection, an emotional rollercoaster that just sucks you right in from the very first page and makes you feel so many different emotions you won’t even see coming . Everything from being speechless to yelling outta pure frustration, to smiling and laughing then crying like a baby and rooting so freaking hard . Lockdown Corner is the 5th book in Ava’s (Walker University Stallions Series ) and there are no words just no perfect words to express how much I have loved every single second of it . Silas and Brooke oh my gosh these two were just everything together, from the second I met them I knew I was in so much trouble- they just grabbed onto my heart so tightly and refused to let go and yup I was a goner , falling hook line and sinker in love. I loved watching them go from friendship to so much more , I loved that both had flaws and struggles because that just made them that much more likable and relatable. All the witty banter and the off the charts chemistry whenever they were around each other , the angst and the humor , the family and friendships. Lockdown Corner was easily one of the best sports romances I’ve read this year

I ate this up!!!

As always, Ava writes the best men and I’ve told her this multiple times!

I love these two and I absolutely freaking love Silas to pieces!😝 He is one of my favorites now!

We have a tattooed football player that wears glasses (when needed) and is obsessed with Brooke.

He doesn’t hide his feelings towards her but she currently has a boyfriend that no one likes at all… Including me! She is shocked to find out that he has had feelings for her for awhile now..

Everything changes with one surprise kiss and from there things escalate🙃

Silas is sweet, swoony and his mouth is🔥

He also treats Brooke like a freaking queen!

They go about their relationship completely backwards but he finally got his girl….

At one point my stomach dropped and I was sad for Silas but they both know what they want and it’s each other🥹

I love that you watch Brooke get comfortable with him and open up about stuff she doesn’t talk to anyone about.

—————————

I kiss the top of her head and smile into the quiet thinking about how we got here. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Except when you marry the girl you’ve always wanted. And this? This is the part I’ll protect with everything I have. My wife. My home. My forever.

𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 is the 5th book in the Walker University Stallions series by Ava Sutton, featuring an entertaining brother’s teammate, college football romance for Silas and Brooke. I was hooked by the emotional prologue that reminded me why I love Beck and Charlie so much from the first book in this series, and keyed me up for little sister Brooke’s love journey. A few years later, Brooke is languishing in a relationship with the wrong man, while Silas carries a torch for her on the periphery. He sees an unlikely opportunity and seizes it in a big way!😍 It’s impossible not to smile and swoon over his confident flirtation and winks, as well as his sheer determination to make her his! The twists kept coming for these two, from life-changing adventurous ones to the deeply personal and emotional ones. I mean, he’s a lockdown corner on the field, but I’m not sure he had getting the chance to lock down his dream girl on his bingo card. Apparently, not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!😏😚 Whether it’s family drama, football action, spicy passion, or friend group banter, this was a fun ride!! I just wish the epilogue gave us more future info, because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye!!😂

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I couldn’t wait for Silas and Brooke’s story and loved every minute of it! Silas is the definition of down bad for his girl. The only problem is.. she’s in a relationship. Does this stop Silas? Absolutely not. This man is patient and ready to play the long game, waiting for Brooke to realize she’s supposed to be with him. Silas and Brooke had a whirlwind romance. They literally hit the ground running together, and even when Brooke tried backpedaling, Silas was there patient and steady. They were the perfect balance of impulse x caution.

I adored Silas and loved how well he supported Brooke. He was there for her no matter what, and was truly her strong and steady. Brooke has my heart. Watching her grow and work through her childhood trauma was so beautiful. She struggled with anxiety and Silas continually met her where she was at. He quickly became her safe space, giving her a place to land. The mental health representation was so perfect, capturing all the raw vulnerability anxiety triggers.

This has been such a fun series! While I’m sad that it’s over, I am DYING for Liam’s full story next!

This is my first book by Ava, and as this is book number 5 in this particular series, I can definitely say it does read as a stand-alone. But having said that, and enjoying Brooke and Silas’s story as much as I did, I know I will be reading the other 4 books as soon as possible.
I have ready plenty of drunken Vegas romances novels, but this one stands out because Brooke and Silas were not beyond drunk when they tied the knot. Tipsy yes, but both coherent enough to know what choices they were making. I really enjoyed this, and it was all the more realistic when Brooke started to second guess their spontaneity. But the way they talked and worked through this part belied their years. It was so well written that I never once thought that with them both being so young that they would never act in such a mature manner. They just worked so well as a couple and especially so when hiccups inevitably came their way. There was nothing about their story that I didn’t enjoy and Ava has firmly planted herself on my radar and I can’t wait to read more of her stories sooner rather than later.

Brooke and Silas ❤️❤️❤️
Brooke has spent her life making sure she doesn’t cause trouble and never needs anything from the people around her. Silas is a biomedical engineering major who also happens to be a college football star—and her brother’s best friend. From the moment he really sees Brooke, he wants to be the person she can finally lean on.
They’ve been attracted to each other since they first met, but the timing was never right—she was in high school, he was in college, and now that she’s finally in college herself, she’s in a relationship. When that relationship ends and they find themselves in Vegas together… everything changes.
I absolutely loved these two as a couple. They’re both genuinely good people, great friends, and refreshingly mature in how they communicate with each other. Their connection felt natural and earned, and watching it unfold was so satisfying. Another fantastic addition to the series! 💕✨

Ava Sutton has done it again!! I am absolutely in love with the Walker University universe! 😍

If you love swoon-y, sweet, cinnamon roll heroes, who also happen to be tatted and a little bit filthy, Silas Arbuckle is your guy! I cannot resist a guy who yearns and pines, and Silas does both to perfection. He is truly the total package. The way he supports and loves Brooke is just so good! 😍

Brooke was such a sweet FMC, and I loved her growth throughout the book. She has spent the majority of her life being a people pleaser and making herself small so as to not cause drama or problems, and honestly I could relate so much with her. Brooke’s story gives hope to all of us quiet girls that can find our Silas, too! Their relationship was just so beautiful and it was a joy to read! 🩷

I also love the way the found family has grown throughout the series! The banter and love between all the couples and friends just creates such a fun, supportive dynamic. And now we have the Griffith twins adding more shenanigans to the mix and I cannot wait for more Ace and Aston in the future! Gimme ALL the Griffith boys! 🤭😉

Oh Silas Arbuckle you little Golden Retriever you.

Silas made no apologies for what he wanted and he wanted Brooke. He loved Brooke unapologetically and fiercely. He never once doubted they were meant to be and was devoted to her even before she was his.

And Brooke, what can I say. She was the perfect match for Silas. A little reserved, a little unsure and a whole lot of people pleasing. I loved the dynamic created between her and her brother, Beck. Brooke’s need to please her brother and her dad added to the angst she felt towards Silas but deep down she knew. She knew he was the one.

I loved everything about this couple and really appreciated the way the author put mental health at the forefront.

Another winner from Ava Sutton.

SILAS AND BROOKE!! I did not think Beck and Charlie could be topped? I was wrong y'all have taken my #1 spot!

I read this book in one sitting because I was hooked! Everything flowed seamlessly and you know what they say! What happens in Vegas, comes home to Oklahoma 😂

From the very beginning Silas has been down bad for his teammates sister knowing she was in a not right relationship and still showed to make his presence known. Once he had his girl he kept proving why he was the best man for her and locked down on their relationship.

Brooke, my sweet Brooke she is so strong and deals with everything life throws at her with grace and compassion towards others and learns how to with herself, and learning how to put her feelings first.

10/10 book! If you haven't read the Walker U series yet please start from the beginning because they are all so so so good & incredible!!!

Silas and Brooke’s story had me HOOKED from the start 😮‍🔥

Brooke is already in a relationship when this book begins… but Silas sees his opportunity and he takes it 👀 especially when Brooke starts realising her boyfriend isn’t who she thought he was.

Watching Brooke and Silas slowly grow closer was everything. The tension, the emotional pull, and the way they kept being drawn back to each other had me fully invested.

And then… they get married. 😳💍
From there, this story isn’t just about falling in love it’s about what happens after. Seeing them try to make a marriage work while they’re still so young, still figuring life out, and still learning each other was SUCH a refreshing story

Silas honestly surprised me in the best way, and the deeper their relationship got, the more I was rooting for them 🖤

May Silas and Brooke’s type of love smack me in the face because I wish for this type of relationship.

Lockdown Corner is a college football romance where he falls first and he falls hard🥰! I did not put this book down. I absolutely love Silas and Brooke. The way Ava Sutton wrote these two characters made me absolutely swoon. Their connection is effortless, fun, and they just fit so well together. This group of characters are so special and really show a family aspect. I love the writing for this one, I love the energy. This book probably has been the best one in my opinion. I would totally give this a six star rating if I could!

I am so excited to see what Ava Sutton has to come next. You can definitely bet that I’ll be reading whatever it is. Ava Sutton is stuck with me as a reader. I definitely recommend this book for all!

Lockdown Corner
By: Ava Sutton

“When you’re done with this guy, and you will be soon, I’ll be happy to take the title.” I kiss her softly again.

“It wasn’t spontaneous for me either. I…haven’t been able to stop thinking about you.”

“I married him because of who he is when the noise dies down. And Dad, I’ve had feelings for him for a while. The feelings…didn’t happen overnight.”

Silas and Brooke are so freaking sexy and cute! Silas is down bad from the jump for Brooke. He is so supporting and loving of Brooke. So patient and willing to wait for Brooke’s feelings to catch up with his.
And Brooke opens up to Silas about her trauma and admitting he’s her safe place. It’s just so freaking cute! Watching Brooke bloom throughout this story, and grow her confidence in herself, I love the girl power! This story is such an easy and addicting read. I didn’t want to put it down!

If Ava writes it I will read it!! I loved Silas and Brooke's story so much! And their first kiss will go down as one of my favorite moments!!! I was smiling so big!!

Silas is down bad for Brooke but she has a boyfriend. He knows that she is with the wrong man and will do anything to make her his! Silas stops at nothing to prove he is worthy of his love! He showers her with not only his words but follows them up with actions! Brooke struggles with anxiety and panic attacks and the way Ava balances this with the story is very real and raw. Silas grounds Brooke in a way no one can. He is her calm and she is everything he has ever wanted. They are young and in college but they way their relationship is handled is so mature. I am so in love with these two characters!

Silas really came out of no where, not even having been one of the original characters in the series, and he really became one of my faves (along with Archie because that man is also just top tier). The way Silas falls so hard for Brooke and has absolutely zero qualms in letting her—and anyone else—know his feelings won me over. When things get complicated and it would be the easy decision to walk away, he fights for his girl without second thought. Her brother and dad aren’t on board? Oh well, we’ll deal with it. About to get drafted and life’s gonna get nuts? NBD, we’ll figure it out together. As someone who has anxiety, I know just how much Brooke needed someone to help calm her storm, and Silas was her perfect match.

I mean…..COME ON!!

In the last 9 months I have read every book in the Walker University Stallions series, getting to know these characters, stepping into this world and seeing Ava’s vision so clearly and I’m always so excited to return.

Lockdown Corner took me completely by surprise, I don’t know what I was expecting from Brooke & Silas but they exceeded any expectations I could have and burrowed themselves into my heart so effortlessly.

I’ve always made note of how exceptional Ava’s MMCs are and Silas is everything Brooke could need and more, direct and sincere, protective and kind, solid and secure. And the safest space she’ll ever need whilst breaking her back every night, God how I swooned!

I can’t choose between Silas and Archie, please don’t make me!

4.5 stars!

So happy to receive this as an ARC🫶🏼
😍😍😍Holy moly!!! What a book!!
Let’s start with the perfection of the dedication shall we 🥹
Then we move onto the story of Brooke & Silas which I devoured in a few short hours…..
When Brooke’s brother & therapist tells her to have fun & live it up in Vegas, well…. She didn’t disappoint!! I was kicking my legs & squealing🤣🤣🤣🤣

Silas is a man obsessed & shows Brooke how she should be treated & be her true self🥹
They really were perfect for each other❤️
💕He’s the calm after the panic.💕

I’m still on the fence though….Archie is a hard man to beat😂
This whole series is a must read!!!

I read the tropes and knew what was going to happen based on it, but I did not expect it to happen that quick lol. Silas is such a great guy, just like all the others, and he deserves his HEA, and it so happens that his HEA is with Brooke!! Having feelings for your friend’s sister is always a problem, but how quickly their relationship progressed was wild!! But I loved how patient and understanding Silas is with Brooke, it melted my heart! Brooke had some personal issues that he took in stride because he loves her, or started falling “head over a*s” for her. And there were so many heartwarming moments and words that i’m taking into consideration in real life. Another perfect sports romance story for this series. Perfection!!

📖 𝘼𝙍𝘾 𝙍𝙀𝙑𝙄𝙀𝙒 📖

Lockdown Corner is Book 5 in the Walker University Stallions series.

What to expect:
🏈 College Football Romance
☁️ Dating the Wrong Person (her)
🏈 Love at First Sight (him)
☁️ Brother’s Friend/Teammate
🏈 Opposites Attract

I started reading this series a few months ago and have really enjoyed each couple but I just loved Silas and Brooke. Their story was sweet and spicy, with great chemistry. Silas is a ten!!! and perfect for Brooke. I love a sports romance when the team becomes family and Ava Sutton has done this beautifully with the Walker University Stallions.

Lockdown Corner was really easy to read from start to finish, I devoured it in one afternoon. If you love a college romance where the MMC treats his FMC like a Queen as they work on their future together so they both reach their dreams this is a perfect book.

Oh i LOVE Silas and Brooke SO much.

He’s been into her for years, but between her being younger, and having a boyfriend, he kept his distance, until a Kiss Cam moment where he shot his shot.

Brooke is SO strong and has been through so much in her life that it’s so good to see her feel connected to someone who isn’t her brother or father, and is there for HER. He wants to help her be the best version of herself.

I genuinely think Silas might be my new favorite. It’s a close call tbh.

Brooke and Silas’ story is just so so fun. I cannot say enough good things about this book! I love Silas and Brooke so much! Their first kiss might be my favorite one ever like just so good (you have to read I’m not spoiling that one!) and a fun twist.

Brooke does have childhood trauma so please please check your triggers before diving into this one. She does go to therapy and I really enjoyed seeing a session represented in this book.

Silas is so down bad for Brooke and just listens to her. Anytime he was with Brooke I was honestly giddy. He is such a good husband!

I highly recommend this book! The entire series is amazing!!!

Lockdown Corner was a fast-paced, addictive read that pulled me in from the very first page.

I loved Silas and Brooke’s story! Their chemistry was electric, and the banter was so much fun. Silas was protective, patient, and understanding, and watching him love Brooke so fiercely was incredibly satisfying. Brooke’s journey of facing her past and opening her heart felt authentic and deeply moving. The mix of spontaneous moments and serious emotions kept me hooked the entire time.

Overall, this was a heartwarming read that left me smiling, and I can’t wait to see what Ava Sutton comes up with next!

Thank you to Ava Sutton and Wordsmith Publicity for the ARC.
