December 31, 2025This is a book of my heart, and I'm definitely making sure it gets counted among my READS for the year. I've worked on edits with this one three times this year ... and I still love it!
Since it won't release until Fall 2026, it won't let me rate it--but IMO, this is my best book yet. I hope readers agree and fall in love with these characters as much as I have!

Few books have given me the book hangover that this one has.
The Lost Visionist is a tale of a hunter on a mission and a history of a war of epic proportions.
The characters from both time periods are so vivid in my mind right now. They are complexand flawed, raw and heroic.
This is a world of layers.
From the individuals who are caught in the middle to the forces that seek power, there is a depth and complexity that begs you to dive in and experience. I am hungry for the next installment (whatever that might bring 😬).
You just become so invested!
There are twists, there are turns, there are truths of epic proportions woven into the fabric of this tale.
I so appreciate the way the author built the world and set the stage for the series through the eyes of the characters who lived it.
This is not just a "book of the year" this is a book of a lifetime.
I won't give away much more....
Even if you don't normally read Science fiction, but you love fantastic worlds with deeply drawn, complex and raw characters. READ THIS BOOK!
