Long Nose Legacy A Dog’s Story of Fame and Jealousy is the fanciful tale of two pampered and privileged Borzoi (Russian Wolfhound) sisters—Madison, the glamorous show dog celebrity turned Broadway star...and Carnegie, who never cut it as a show dog or even “off-off Broadway” but, nevertheless, considers herself to be an even greater luminary (and, generally, more adorable) than Madison—who are torn apart by fame and jealousy in Carnegie’s quirky quest to become the famous-est dog in the world.
After moving with their “owners” to a luxurious Upper Eastside penthouse overlooking Central Park in the heart of Manhattan, NYC, Borzoi sisters, Madison and Carnegie, are discovered by a famous Broadway show producer and land starring roles in the big “Hearts Over Broadway” musical. Dogs starring in a Broadway musical, you ask? Oh yes! They sing (AKA howl)! They dance! Madison’s emotional scenes with the famous (human) superstar, Mandi Marin, are show stoppers. It’s spectacular! That is…until Carnegie quite literally stops the show with her comedic and disastrous attempts to steal the spotlight from her sister. And when Carnegie takes off on a quirky quest to surpass her sister’s fame and become the “famous-est” dog in the world, all bets are off!
