An Instant #1 New York Times Bestseller!

“Gabe Poirot’s NDE is one of the most miraculous, awe-inspiring, and biblically confirming cases I’ve encountered.”
-John Burke, New York Times Bestselling Author of Imagine Heaven

He Died and Came Back with Revelations That Will Change How You Live

One moment, he lay on the pavement, blood pouring from his ears. The next, his spirit was lifted through a tunnel of living light—carried straight into the radiant throne room of Heaven.

At just 20 years old, Gabe Poirot flatlined after a catastrophic accident. Though doctors were able to revive him, Gabe remained in a coma that would last 18 days.

But death was only the beginning of his story.

While machines sustained his body, Gabe traveled beyond the veil where he encountered Jesus face-to-face and received revelation of what truly happens after the last breath on earth. In 18 Days in Heaven, Gabe shares his true near-death experience with striking clarity and humility, revealing what he saw, heard, and experienced—and how you can live in the power of eternity now.

In these pages, you will discover:
What happens the moment you die?
Is heaven real—and what is it truly like?
Will you still be yourself after death?
What did Jesus look like when you met Him face-to-face?
What does heaven sound like?
What is the key to answered prayer?
Why does God allow suffering?
Key Revelations Include:
Heaven is more real, more powerful, and more alive than you’ve ever imagined.
You are loved with the same love the Father has for Jesus.
Hell has no claim on you--the blood of Jesus secured your destiny.
You were created to rule and reign with Christ, both now and forever.
Perfect For:
Believers ready for fresh fire and breakthrough.
Christians who refuse religion and want real encounter.
Anyone facing fear of death, grief, or intimidation of the enemy.

Through a powerful life review marked by mercy—not condemnation—Gabe reveals a God whose love is relentless, personal, and far greater than most people have ever imagined. His testimony is supported by medical documentation, eyewitness accounts, and biblical confirmation, making 18 Days in Heaven one of the most Christ-centered near-death experiences ever shared.

18 Days in Heaven will awaken your faith, strengthen your hope, comfort the grieving, and call believers to live with eternity in view.

You don’t have to be afraid of death.

Heaven is real.

From the pavement of a brutal accident to the sapphire floor of Heaven, Gabe’s story will activate your faith, dismantle every lie, and ignite your spirit with the unshakable reality of eternity.

I’ve read articles and similar books on this topic. This one feels different to me. It aligns with scripture so well it actually flows positively and love. Isn’t that what real Christianity is all about? It’s a short read but to the point without fluff and that aids to the message. Sometimes we look for difficult answers when they are so pure and simple we can’t comprehend.

Skeptics beware…
You will finish this book and:
1. Be convinced of this man’s testimony
2. Sit in awe of the Savior’s love for us, for YOU
3. Rejoice for what awaits us in Heaven
4. Evaluate yourself and how you are living, and ultimately refine areas in your life that aren’t currently edifying the Lord.

Praise God for His free gift of salvation through His Son.

This was an amazing book! It's about Gabe Poirot, a non-fiction story about how he was riding an electric scooter, (without a helmet), with some friends and he tripped on a small bump. He did a backflip in the air and fell on the back of his head and shattered his skull, and instantly gone.... Everyone was terrified that this happened to to him... His spirit left his body, for 18 days, and he encountered Jesus! He described how he saw Jesus, and what Heaven is like! Jesus told him, at the end of his 18 days, that it was time to still live life on Earth and the Holy Spirit will always be with him! Finally after the long 18 days he woke up from the coma fully healed! Many were shocked and frightened, every single inch of his body was perfectly fine! He is fully healed from a miracle, that Jesus made happen!

That's why I believe that Jesus and God can great things for us, through trusting him :)

Interesting book on being in the presence of the Lord. Felt more like a sermon than an NDE account, I would have liked much much more detail on what he saw, but it was lacking in that area. The two sections that struck me the most were about our words. Every word we speak either builds the soldiers of good or the soldiers of evil. Truly, every word matters! And second, the prayers of others over us build roads and towers and bridges to Heaven. Pray over those you love. And finally, I am His favorite. You are his favorite, He created each of us for a unique and specific purpose and is delighted in every step we take towards it.

I heard Gabe's interview on Blurry Creatures and it spurred me to get the book when it was released. I really prayed for wisdom before and while reading it. I just finished it today and it is well worth a prayerful read. I saw a couple of interviews with Gabe and some men who were challenging Gabe about the Scriptural integrity of what he was saying. The interviewers were clearly cessationists. I understand their viewpoint because I grew up in a very reformed background where cessationism was the accepted belief. But in reading Scripture numerous times I no longer subscribe to that because I don't think it's Biblical. Everything Gabe said was not only Scripturally sound -- but deeply resonant. God does not fit into a tidy box or an acronym. He is WAY out of our scope. Consider reading this and ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom. If you do, it might be a life changing book for you.

𝟏𝟖 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 consumed me from the moment I started reading it. The narration had a candid, conversational tone that oozed urgency, and the short chapters kept me saying ‘just one more’ all the way to the final page.

Gabe Poirot has an amazing story with the power to inspire others to make deep and meaningful changes in their lives. I loved his passion and obedience, and how he shares his journey for the reader’s benefit. I also appreciate how he encourages readers to test his experiences by what Scripture says, rather than just taking his word for it.

What spoke loudest to me throughout the book was the power of our words and prayers, the vital need for unity and grace, and the all-encompassing love of Jesus that surrounds us. A fascinating book!

Seems silly to rate someone else's experience, so I shall refrain.

A beautiful, and I believe faithful and true account of what Gabe experienced. It is consistant with what little the Bible tells us about the spiritual realms, and contains many details and curiosities about those realms. Most importantly, though, Gabe stays focused on Jesus Himself, the Glorious One, and His great Love for us. This book made me homesick.

What an incredible story of how this young man’s life was saved and his experience in heaven. I love that he used scriptures to point to everything he experienced as well. He mentioned that he will be writing more books and I am looking forward to reading more about his experience.

Reality check on eternity
Very easy book to read, filled with scripture and thought provoking concepts. We often forget how important eternity is and instead focus too much on our current problems and challenges. This book reminds us that Jesus is always there and wants us to know him in a tangible way in every area of our lives. It’s been said that if you are too heavenly minded then you are of no earthly good. This book argues just the opposite that being aware of eternity and living for eternal values makes us much better people and keeps us on track in our walk with God and our service to others. We all need to be reminded of this with our busy lives. I highly recommend this book to read slowly and prayerfully. You won’t be disappointed.

Gabes book "18 Days in Heaven," recounts a near-death experience following a severe electric skateboard accident just before his 21st birthday, of all times to have a terrible accident . His birthday was October 25, 2021 and Poirot fell and sustained a traumatic brain injury described as a shattered skull, brain hemorrhage, and collapsed lungs which left him in a coma for 18 days. I can only imagine how hard it must have been for his family!

The accident gave Gabe something not many people have “ especially so young” a Near-Death Experience!!

Gabe has an incredible experience in which he was able to focus heavily on the image of Jesus rather than what heaven looked like ( again, I can’t believe how amazingly lucky you were. Jesus is described mainly on his eyes, being a mixture of immense love, ocean deep and full of love , as well as far from human as one could describe “ nothing you could ever think of would come close to the beauty and majesty Gabe saw in that moment.

It’s important to always remember the nature of our creators love! It might not seem like he’s always there but remember that God has a plan for each and every-one of us, God loves every individual with the same powerful, passionate and unconditional love he has for Jesus! We are made in Gods image and he desires all of us to experience heaven as a place of immense joy, vibrant colours ( some of which our earthly eyes cannot comprehend and heavenly songs.

Gabe claims he experienced the power of prayer, not just earthy prayer but heavenly prayer, he saw his family praying as well as his friends which appeared as a bridge of building blocks guiding him back to earth and most importantly, back to his body•

The book clearly shows the severity of his injuries! The medical Doctors told his family and himself that they expected him to be seriously mentally incapacitated or even dead!

HOWEVER
Despite all odds and the grace of our incredible Heavenly Father Gabe woke up to everyone’s surprise ( just before he was scheduled invasive surgery.

Since the day of the accident, Gabe has dedicated his life to evangelism! Hallelujah! Thank the Lord our God!

His evangelical is primarily through his amazing YouTube channel : https://youtube.com/@gabepoirot?si=tR...

Gabes core message is “Heaven is a person” (Jesus) and that people should live with an eternal perspective FREE FROM THE FEAR OF DEATH

Remember: 2 Timothy 1:7

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but he has given us a spirit of POWER and of LOVE and of sound judgment.

This book has been such an incredible inspiration! God works in so many amazing ways, just because we ask for something and it doesn’t happen, it’s not an excuse to give up ( the Lord helps those who help themselves) in the event of a life changing injury or situation you may find that the Lord answers your prayers.

Keep your faith and the Lord will provide, if I could recommend a book to ignite a fire for the Lord, this is the book for you!

VERY DISAPPOINTED as this does NOT READ as a real life experience. It's filled with Bible verses and references. I DID NOT feel it was in anyway shape or form a death experience story. It was just mostly scripture throughout the entire book. I felt as if I was reading a bible study sermon.

This book needed more editing to make it flow better. I felt the author didn’t share very many details of his experience, but instead shared his beliefs and scripture. The positive - a lot of scripture is quoted.

────────── ✧ ♡ ✧ ──────────

genuinely the most jaw-droppingly beautiful book i have ever read in my entire life.

i could never recommend a book more.

────────── ✧ ♡ ✧ ──────────

this book absolutely wrecked me in the best possible way.

for both believers and nonbelievers, this book goes into detail about how gabe died, went to heaven, experienced the overwhelming beauty and glory of it all, and then returned to earth completely healed and restored.

and the entire time i was reading it, all i could think was:

ALL PRAISE TO JESUS.

because wow.

the descriptions.
the peace.
the hope.
the love woven through every page.

it genuinely made my heart ache in a way i can’t fully explain.

────────── ✧ ♡ ✧ ──────────

→ why this book hit me so hard personally

this wasn’t just “a good book” for me.

it came into my life at the exact right time.

the past few months of my life have honestly felt nightmarish at points, and i haven’t felt as close to Jesus as i should’ve been. i felt distant. exhausted. overwhelmed.

but thank the Lord for my grandma recommending this to me because this book reminded me of who God is.

it reminded me how deeply loved we are.

and i’ve never felt more grateful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ than i did while reading this.

────────── ✧ ♡ ✧ ──────────

→ for the skeptics

i especially recommend this book to skeptics because honestly?

i used to be one too.

and what impacted me so much was that gabe doesn’t just tell his story emotionally — there’s actual documentation, x-rays, medical evidence, and so many moments that parallel scripture and biblical truth.

whether someone believes immediately or not, i think this book has the power to make people stop and think.

and maybe even hope.

────────── ✧ ♡ ✧ ──────────

→ final thoughts

thank you gabe for sharing something so personal and beautiful with the world.

and thank you Jesus for another day on this earth. another breath. another chance to know You and feel Your love.

all praise and glory to God forever.

✧ Jesus is good

I was one of the lucky ones to be able to read this book in advance ..I don't even know where to begin to write a review because the book "18 days in Heaven" is so deep and rich with information for anyone that wants to get to know Jesus Christ better .. Let's start with the author .. I first saw Gabe on an IG post where he was speaking about his encounter with Jesus Christ in Heaven.. I didnt have the sound up but right away but I noticed this man, Gabe, had a joy on his face that you don't see every day and spoke with such conviction, that alone peaked my interest..When I heard his compelling story of Jesus' love in his story I had to get that book .. I've worked in neurological ICUs for the majority of my career and when I saw Gabe's CT of his head , I would have said he's got no chance of survival a typical " tag and bag" patient , so there was zero doubt he was no longer with us ..
From what I understand the author is in his mid 20's but in his book " 18 Days in Heaven" , he spoke with wisdom that usually occurs with advancing age of which he was getting from Christ himself..No other way to explain that .. Gabe's experience and conversations in Heaven are clearly inspired by Our Savior Himself ..I haven't met a younger person with such wisdom and insight ..His questions he had for Jesus were answered in such a beautiful loving way that only Jesus Himself could reply like that .. Jesus' appearance , His fragrance, how He spoke, His demeanor , His gentleness but full of Justice personality, His eyes full of love and compassion..You get the picture..What was more intriguing is when Gabe was telling Jesus his faults , Jesus over spoke him and guided his inner pride to stand firm in Jesus' Truth.. You will get great insight as to the sights and sounds of Heaven reading this book .. This book transcends any modern religion explaining who Jesus really Is ..He is Love He is Heaven and you will one day feel the same Love Gabe was immersed in , surrounded by while in Heaven ..I've read my share of NDEs this book is hands down the most clear and informative experience with The King of all Kings .. Get this book asap !!

18 Days in Heaven by Gabe Poirot is one of those rare reads that lingers long after you’ve closed the cover.

I’ll say it plainly—it won’t land the same way for everyone. But for those willing to wrestle with it, there’s something here worth sitting with.

What struck me most is how consistently the narrative points back to Scripture. Not in a forced or embellished way, but in a manner that feels aligned—almost like an echo. It doesn’t attempt to replace the Word, but rather presses the reader to return to it, to test it, to weigh it.

The book also doesn’t shy away from a harder truth: that both good and evil are not abstract ideas, but active realities. That tension runs quietly beneath the surface, reminding you that what we often dismiss as symbolic may, in fact, be far more real than we’re comfortable admitting.

Whether one believes the account literally or approaches it with skepticism, it still does something valuable—it provokes. It asks questions about eternity, about the nature of truth, and about whether modern faith has grown too distant from the weight of what it claims to believe.

There’s also something deeply reassuring in reading a contemporary account that seeks to affirm, rather than reinterpret, the foundation of Scripture. Not as proof to be wielded, but as a testimony that invites reflection.

At the very least, it challenges you to consider: if even a fraction of this is true, what does that mean for how we live now?

“God is love.”

We all wonder what Heaven is like. We have so many questions—so many “how’s”—but this book beautifully reminds us that our curiosity feels so overwhelming because we simply have nothing on earth to compare it to. Our human minds can’t fully grasp eternity, and that’s what makes it all the more awe-inspiring.

Gabe’s story, born out of a tragic accident, carries such a powerful purpose: to reveal the true nature of God. Not the harsh or distant version some may believe in, but a loving Father who calls us His sons and daughters and deeply desires for us to be with Him.

This book gives a glimpse of what Heaven may be like and paints a moving picture of how our prayers act as bridges, connecting us directly to God. I had goosebumps several times while reading and finished it in just two days—I truly couldn’t put it down.

It also serves as a humbling reminder that we are so deeply loved, even though we are not worthy on our own. The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and the immeasurable love God has for us is something that this book brings to life in a powerful way.

Thank you, Gabe, for sharing your story and helping others see that Heaven is not something to fear, but something to look forward to. I truly believe many people will come to know God through your testimony.

And I have to say—I was especially excited to learn… there are animals in Heaven too! 🐾

This book was truly excellent. It’s an easy, accessible read, yet deeply impactful—one that, in my opinion, deserves nothing less than five stars. Everyone’s testimony with the Lord is unique, but each one carries its own truth and significance.

Gabe shares a beautiful and moving experience—an intimate moment with Jesus that feels both personal and profound. Reading it left me longing for that same encounter one day.

Heaven is beyond anything we can fully comprehend. The beauty, the joy, the peace, the light, the sense of complete fulfillment—it’s everything we could ever need and more. I genuinely hope that anyone seeking Jesus takes the time to read this book. It feels like a meaningful first step in understanding what awaits and just how deeply He loves us.

To anyone reading this, I’ll leave you with this:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

The weight of that truth cannot be overstated. The only way to God is through His Son, Jesus Christ.

God bless you, Gabe—and God bless everyone who takes the time to read your story.

As a young person myself, I want to personally thank Gabe for his book through this review. God brought me and my family such revelation and great encouragement. You will truly encounter Jesus (Yahusha) in a new and powerful way, that will leave you forever changed.

An attitude of gratitude, and learning that God is only good in that nothing evil or broken proceeds from Him changes everything. And I love God’s desire to partner with us - that WE bring heaven to earth, wherever God has planted us - Greetings from Neath, South Wales, UK!

Our spirits bear witness with His Spirit alongside Gabe and this book is a light in the darkness. I’ve already bought a couple extra copies!

His great love and blessings to you and all reading this. Let His Light shine upon us which can never be extinguished by the darkness. We ARE doing great things and NOT coming down. We are the light of this world and the city set on a hill.

18 Days in Heaven by Gabe Poirot was a fascinating and thought provoking read. Gabe shares his experience after a devastating accident left him in a coma for 18 days. Whether you approach this story from a place of faith, curiosity, or simply an interest in near death experiences, his journey is compelling and heartfelt.

What stood out to me most was the message of hope, love, and living with purpose. The book encourages readers to reflect on what truly matters and to appreciate the people and moments that make life meaningful. Gabe tells his story with sincerity and humility, making it easy to connect with his experience.

You do not have to share the same beliefs to appreciate the themes of courage, resilience, forgiveness, and finding peace in the face of uncertainty. It is a book that invites reflection and leaves you thinking long after the final page.

For years many of us have been taught to attend church on Sundays, sit, listen follow the rules. Repeat

I have always felt that there was more to it then that, I watched family attend church for months then stop going, then a repeat cycle.

Honestly growing up I was convinced I was doomed by the time I was 12..

I am now 54 and I am so glad Gabe wrote this book and shared his experience, I have searched for years for answers and have came to the conclusion long ago we were ment to have a realonship with Jesus not just sit in a building on Sunday.

I do not want to give away any spoilers for those who have not read the book, but I will say if you want a better realonship with Jesus read this book with an open heart and mind

This book is for anyone looking for answers on their walk with God or might be searching for Jesus

One of the best near-death experiences that I believe wholeheartedly. You'll notice the book is a little short; that is because he refuses to pad or add to his experience. You can trust he is relaying only the truth without embellishment or unnecessary details, and it all aligns with Scripture and the Spirit of Truth.
I especially loved what he said about the libraries. It was really special to read how the Lord views words and life and sub-creation within God's creation. This book helps renew the simple joy of the gospel of Christ. It's as simple as a hug from Jesus, or a moment where he was right next to you when you were eight years old. And yet Gabe also dives into scientific findings and viewpoints that heaven unveils.

Thank you Gabe for reminding us of the beauty of Jesus above all, and bringing a little piece of heaven to earth. Keep it up!

Trusting in the Lord

I am already a Christian and believe strongly that Jesus died on the cross for me. But it was interesting to read about someone who has died and going to heaven, and returned to tell us about it..

I have seen the light before the bright beautiful light that draws you in, but I never got to go as far as to meet anyone in heaven. I know it’s all true and that God is waiting for me. I have never been afraid to die and I tell my wife this she was nervous at first, but I believe she is coming to believe that heaven is a beautiful place and something that we all should look forward to.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 stars. I first heard the authors story on the Blurry Creatures podcast and knew immediately I wanted to purchase his book. The emotion that poured off him while telling his story was palpable. The book is written at an extremely easy reading level I assume to reach many different people. I love how much scripture is in it to help show the reality of his encounter. I look forward to his future book whenever the Holy Spirit allows him to realease it. I highly suggest listening to the podcast or listening to Gabe speak somewhere else. I preferred that over reading his testimony but will still share his book with others.

I couldn’t put this down…

As a Christian, I have enjoyed the testimonies of a few people who have died and come back…if their testimony does not conflict with scripture, it is very inspiring and exciting…this one had so many wonderful scripture references as he related each experience that I was amazed by how much he had gone through…his testimony landed like Daniel and Revelation, especially the last two chapters…I felt love, encouragement, hope and enlarged faith. His descriptions of how prayers are received in Heaven was amazing…let’s just say I will be doing a lot more praying…wow. This one made a difference…My Savior be praised…

Excellent "Near Death Experience" , he died and spent time with Jesus!

If you are a facts based person and like firsthand accounts of religious experiences please read this testimony. This young man is using his experience that God healed him from completely.... to help others. ❤️ as someone dealing with autoimmune issues I'm very inspired so this book was great. Please, if you are on the fence about it, get it.

This book has brought me to tears and has shed light on my own encounter with Jesus. When I feel like I'm not loved, I read the passage about how Jesus looked at Gabe when he was in Jesus' presence. This book brings me so much hope and inspires me to write a book about my own experience with Jesus. I'm so excited to read his next book. Thank you for writing this beautiful book! I recommend it to everyone!
