Level Three: A Science Fiction LitRPG Novel
I just wanted to tell my neighbor to shut up.
Hi, I’m Jack Taylor, a romance author from Earth—though you probably haven’t heard of my planet yet. It’s not part of the Galactic Consortium, and that’s a good thing for the shady alien races lurking in the shadows, ready to snatch up anyone they can.
When I was abducted by the Grays during a camping trip, I found myself thrust into a mercenary life I never asked for. Now I’m a Level 3 merc with one to reclaim my home and protect my loved ones. It’s kind of looking like I’ll have to save the galaxy to do that, but that’s really not my focus.
Although the number of Humans have doubled in my squad, it hasn’t made things any easier for me. There are more people than ever out to get me, and now I have to protect him, too. As if a Level 3 could protect much of anything. If I could just get my hands on those darn mechs… maybe I could.
Join me on a wild ride through combat training, unexpected alliances, and a race against time, as I strive to prove that even a romance writer can become a hero—assuming I can survive that long.

As they say, the plot thickens.
Jack is level 3 and still kicking butt, but not yet taking names...
And yet, we now begin to understand what is at stake and why Earthlings are so important in future struggles.
Secrets, plots, new players.
Lots of fighting, a solid story, excellent characters. What else do you want?

Another well written story from Mr. Kennedy. There is great character development and world building in this third book of a five-part series. The story kept me on the edge of my seat with lots of action, excitement, and battles with aliens, as the kidnapped author from earth levels up while building his skills as a mercenary.

Entertaining read,
looking forward to the next book. The varied characters and descriptions of their physical attributes is creative. The goal of getting various species that are enemies to cooperate for the common good and survival mirrors the current situation.
