Four Seattleites––a failed homosexual, a crypto-obsessed mom, a party-girl-turned-caretaker, and an unorthodox professor––are going about their lives when, for each of them, things get messy. Then, as the wider world begins to unravel, they must face stark questions about meaning, security, and our place on a planet that is spinning increasingly out of control.

The writing is fine, technically correct, no major errors.

The cast is varied, different types of people in different life circumstances and situations around the city. There's not a ton of depth to each, at least in the 20% I read, but each holds possibility.

An unobjectionable selection for libraries, but there are stronger titles if you have limited space or budgets. This title is appropriate for general fiction collections. I'm not sure the advertised "satire" was coming through for me, but maybe a bit of absurdity from all the computer and tech industry people? Give this to readers who don't mind a bit of silliness in social commentary.
