How to Draw a Monster

Rate this book
Drawing monsters is fun and easy. The first step is to decide what will make your monster look monstrous. Will it have gory looking eyes? More than 2 eyes? Only 1 eye? Eyes on end of stalks? Eyeball hanging out?

Same thing for the mouth. Will it have a huge mouth? Multiple mouths? Large tong hanging out? Sharp teeth or fangs? What about the feet? Will your monster have clawed feet? More than 2 feet? Only 1 foot or no foot? What about the hands and arms? Will it have clawed hands? More than 2 hands? Only 1 hand? An arm or hand exiting at unusual at place like the top of its head?

The possible ways to build a monstrous creature are nearly unlimited. You can give it a horn or horns, tail or tails, antenna or antennas, wings, multiple heads, head exiting at unusual at place, or tentacles. And then there's the body. Will it have a slimy green body? A textured body with bumps or spikes?

To get you started drawing monsters I'll first show you how to draw monster hands and feet. Then you'll learn step-by-step how to draw the example monster. You also get 20 different clip art monsters to see what kind of variations to can make in your monster drawings. And you'll have fun inventing your own variations.
