This book was disappointing, and so was the FMC. She doesn’t put up much of a fight - she just talks a big game but never follows through. All bark, no bite.
Even though she’s supposedly upset, she’s willing to hear Colton out almost immediately after the story begins. If she was going to go back that easily, what was the point of running away in the first place? It made her actions feel pointless and unconvincing.

Dit boek kostte me meer moeite dan boek 1. Ik vond het niet perse saai maar het was hem gewoon niet.
Ik wilde weten hoe het verhaal afliep en aangezien ik in de beschrijvingen zag dat het een happy ending heeft weet ik voldoende en hoef ik de laatste twee boeken niet te lezen💁🏼♀️

Dit boek is een grote rollercoaster en ik ben met open armen in het karretje gestapt! Bij het boek Dylan was ik al hooked, en dat heeft dit deel alleen nog maar extra aangedikt en opgeleukt.
Ik vond het erg prettig dat dit deel eigenlijk gelijk start waar deel 1 eindigde, want ja die eindigde in een cliffhanger en hierdoor heb ik enorm uit zitten kijken naar dit deel. Geen enorme tijdssprong nee gewoon lekker verder waar we waren. Hierdoor zat ik meteen weer in het verhaal en ik kon telkens maar met moeite stoppen met lezen. Hoewel er in een deel van het boek wat minder gebeurt dan echt fulltime actie, had ik wel het gevoel dat de personages elkaar wat beter leerden kennen. De kleine puzzelstukjes lijken steeds wat meer op hun plek te vallen. Maar de onderliggende dreiging blijft aanwezig en die sluimerde goed door het boek heen. De spicy scenes waren heel goed neergezet, voelden niet als teveel maar leek het vijftal juist meer tot elkaar te brengen. (Christmas will never be the same 🫠🤭)
En dan het einde... Ja hallo! Wat doe je me aan? Die cliffhanger?! Nou is het dus weer even wachten tot het derde deel er is. En word het dus weer even lekker in spanning zitten met hoe het verder gaat!

Filler book.
I really hate when authors give the name of an academy/college to a series and then the story doesn't take place in the damn academy. Same with the names of the books, why namming them after the guys? I don't get it. In this book, the characters spend 99% of their time in the house. It is so boring. Literally nothing happens until the vey end. They have sex and that's it. We learn basically nothing new about the 5 characters and the secondary characters have barely any lines or scenes. Ava a tiny bit because she is supposed to be the BFF but is a flower pot.
The first book ends with a cliffhanger so I was impatient to read if Skye found her courage somewhere but nope, 5 pages in and she's back with the guys. What was even the point?!
The guys calling Dylan "Boss" when they're together for no reason and then they cuddle him was so silly.
The smut was too much (specially the Christmas scene) and got repetitive. The use sex as a excuse to not talk, I don't know how they think this is the way to a long term relationship. Also, they guys were supposed to talk about their future marriages to Skye but never did.
I still think Damian is the big villain, killed his wife and lie about Tony to make sure the 4 guys will follow him.

Speechless , completely blown away , on the edge of my seat anticipating what would happen from one second to the next , feeling like my heart was beating crushed and then it’s so flawlessly put right back together. That’s exactly how I’ve felt from the moment I started this amazing series . Colton Is that continuation to Skye , Dylan’s , Colton’s , Mavericks and phoenix’s emotional rollercoaster of a love story . It’s dark and raw and gritty and emotional, it’s filled with twists and turns, intrigue, suspense, non stop action, tragedy, off the charts chemistry, Angst , family , friendships, secrets , heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, , phenomenal world building, wonderfully written characters that are so unique and so multi layered and a storyline that just grabs onto all your emotions so easily and pulls at your heartstrings so completely. Colton was the perfect blend of all the things a great romance should entail . So for anyone who is a fan of mafia romances, forbidden romances, reverse harem romances, forced proximity and enemies to lovers this is a must read

Such a good series
I'm probably jinxing myself by saying this, but so far, this series has been banging! I love the fmc's harem, so in love & devoted to the fmc. Sometimes in rh books with a large harem a lot of the tender romance & kissing g gets left out.
These guys are always touchy feelie & always kissing her too.
Im confused by the chapters spent of whether the guys can trust Ava, so much attention on it that its made me nervous. I hope she doesn't end up being anything else than a good friend to the fmc..
Though the guys are complete perks about her while they listened in..
Honestly, I was starting to wonder who Ava's father really is.
Saw some reviews about not believing that Damian is all of a sudden a lover boy- uh, hello? It's been hinted at since book 1. When Damian called & said how both mother & daughter are really good at twisting men around their fingers. The constant vacations to like Bora Bora. It was so obvious they were going to fall in love.

Yes! The deliciousness continues! This just keeps getting better and better!
Colton continues right where Dylan ended. Our guys were a hot mess without Skye. And to be frank, she was no better. When she came back she wore her heart on her sleeve and she let the guys see her vulnerability. In return they gave her their all.
The actual growth in all the characters was fantastic and the progression in their relationships had me in awe. We got to see different sides to the guys, some of those were played out in action, and we also got to see their kinks... Those parts were super steamy!
In responce to the first book, we do get some answers but there's still so much hidden from us.
And then there's this cliff that got me all excited for the next book.

I don’t even know what to say but dannnnnnnnngggggg that cliffy hurt and I mean hurt me bad gutted me. I am really loving these freaking characters and their story basically all that they are becoming. The are all consuming and I am here for it!! I love how Skye grounds them I love that they didn’t want or didn’t think they needed her but the moment she was out of their reach they lost their ish it made me super giddy!! Skye is such a baddie and I love that she can go toe to toe with the guys but also shows her vulnerable side with them as well. The fire and spice was taken up a notch and will definitely have you panting!!! I cannot wait for the next book!

This author duo, has delivered another fantastic read. This is the 2nd instalment in The Boys of Brooke Hollow Academy series.
I loved the character development. There was a deeper connection between the MC's. I think Dylan and Maverick's POV's were the most revealing, in my opinion. Steam level is high and hot. 🥰 🔥 A lot of questions still need to be answered and secrets revealed.
Oh that Cliffhanger.....!!! 😲
Can't wait for the next instalment.

We start off from that crazy cliffhanger in book one. The guys were a hot mess after learning Skye had disappeared. Lots of grovelling from the guys as they learn Skye means so much more then they realize.
Lots of character growth. I love how each character has equal growth with Skye. Lots of sweet moments and of course spicy! Potential MM in the upcoming book? 🤔

This is not a stand alone, so if you haven’t read Dylan, Book 1 of The Boys of Brooke Hollow Academy, do that first!
Book 2 builds more on their relationship than answering questions regarding all drama. I was perturbed at this until I got to the end. Talk about a cliffhanger! Think yodeler from The Price is Right game going way over that cliff and going kersplat. The focus on the relationship and feelings made much more sense and the geniusness of this writing duet shines. There are so many emotions in this book. I was happy. I was aroused. I cried. I was angry. Everything. I just wish I didn’t have to wait for book 3 😭

Aangezien het gewoon verder gaat, zit je direct weer in het verhaal. In dit deel zitten ze niet meer op de campus, maar volgen ze de lessen online. Dus de schoolomgeving is er wat uitgehaald. Ze wonen in hun eigen huis, dat ze met 4 (of nu 5) delen. En het gaat echt meer om de relatie die ze met elkaar hebben. En bepaalde geheimen die gedeeld worden. Je leert ze echt wel nog beter kennen.
Maar weer eindigt het verhaal met zo een grote cliffhanger! Niet te doen. Nog een paar maanden wachten op het vervolg.

Tense and gripping continuation of Skye's story. This picks up from the revelations of Dylan. Skye is coming to terms with her new truths and how this impacts her budding relationship with Dylan, Colton, Maverick and Phoenix.
There are so many plot twists it is hard to keep up. Who does she trust? How do they negotiate the family politics? How are they going to get a HEA? We get none of the answers, but we sure go on one steamy heck of a ride. These 5 are all passion and "right now". They are all comfortable with the dynamic and they are testing new boundaries within this story.
This is shaping up to be a deliciously tense and complex series with changing power dynamics and intense physical chemistry between Skye and her 4 men. Fair warning, the book ends on a hugely frustrating cliffhanger.....

That motherfrigginending had my heart racing. I need answers PRONTO.
The second instalment in the series and it brings even more steam, drama, twists and friggin turns for sure! Secrets still lace the pages and i know for sure I'm not ready for them to hit the pages.... but damn i am absolutely loving this series.
I absolutely adore the guys and Skye her character is just everything!! The development of the characters for me was the perfect pace and Stacy nailed it!

Book 2 picked up where Book 1: Dylan left off.
Skye feels betrayed and but her men manage to make it right as they need her as much as she needs them. Their relationships blossom over the course of this instalment and we’ve gone from an almost bully like stance into a very protective one.
With many questions lingering about her mother and father, Skye and the guys face a lot of issues that culminate into a choice that no one wants to make.
But before we have any answers, boom. That cliffhanger!!! Ugh. Eagerly awaiting book 3!!!

boek 1 eindigd op en cliff hanger, boek 2 gaat daar precies op verder.
ik boek 2 ontwikkeld de relatie tussen skye en de mannen zicht verder. ze groeien echt naar elkaar toe en gaan elkaar ook steeds meer vertrouwen.
er komen geheimen uit het verleden boven water, maar er zijn nog steeds veel geheimen, zaken die nog niet opgelost zijn.
chantage, moord, geweld, sex het boek heeft het allemaal.
de vader van Dylan die iedereen tegen elkaar opzet.
en dan het einde...
weer een enorme cliff hanger...

Book 2 in the series does not disappoint! Love the relationship growth between Skye and her guys. We also learn some things and question some more things lol I won't even get started on the cliffy at then end of this one! Keep them coming...if I thought I was fully invested by the end of Dylan, Colton has me tapping my foot waiting impatiently for the next.

I am fully invested in Skye, Colton, Maverick, Dylan and Nix. The spice is way off the charts, then there is the secret they have yet to tell her. While they lay low there is still the matter of who is messing with their shipments not to mention Damien and his demands and whatever plan he has surrounding Skye. Need the next book pronto…

What a great continuation to the series! Book 2 doesn't disappoint.
With more secrets and twists it kept me guessing and held my attention!
We get suspense, steam and lots of emtions involved.

Second in series and reading in order is needed here. This feels like a filler book and I know sometimes that's needed to get more in the next and I'm already looking forward to that. Stringing the girl along isn't looking too pretty but I am already seeing heartbreak in the future as she doesn't know the plans already in place. Can't wait to see where the author takes this story!

Wow! This book has some major twist. This is the second book in the series. I could not put it down. Skye and her men are trying to find their happiness within a mist of a mafia war. This book we get some answers but are left with more questions. After that cliffhanger I can't wait for book three.

I love to hate cliffhangers 😂 the fmc kinda gets on my nerves . I don’t really care for the mouth she has, she’s also quick to just give up and go along with things, so it’s annoying, but I do love the guys. Can’t wait to see what happens next

I thought book 2 was great! Lots of steamy scenes but also had action and dramatic twists. I personally thought it was well written.

Omg ik ben echt niet oke nu 😭
Het boek komt tragen op gang, het lijkt veel langer goed te gaan, maar ik zat op het puntje van mijn stoel. Ik voelde de spanning in heel mijn lijf, en kreeg zelf ook een knoop ik mijn maag 😣
En dan dit einde .. IK MOET GEWOON WETEN WAT ER VERDER GEBEURD !!

The amazingness continues!!
The boys grovel and oh boy does the steam and drama continue.
I’m totally hooked on Skye and these boys. I absolutely love the dynamic between them, the connection and love just blows you away. I can’t wait til Skye finds out about their last secret and how she handles it and how the boys handle it too.

This is the second book of this series and starts off strong, but the action dies down to give room to a lot of the relationships stuff between our FMC and her antiheros, a lot of inner thoughts and a lot of circling around the big issues going on to end up with little new information.
For me, this second book lacked the emotions of the first one, and even when the cliffhanger was strong, it wasn't really unexpected.
I hope the third book is packed with action and new developments!

This book is FULL of suspense, thrills, and LOTS AND LOTS of spice! This series has me in a chokehold and I can't wait to see what happens next!
