What happens when your fated mate is a cornucopia?
A Thanksgiving with a horn of plenty was bound to become something so much more. While Liz dates useless men, Cornelius is cursed within a wicker form. He watches her closely and provides everything she could want until he’s the one she desires. Will they be able to break the curse, or will he just be another toy she uses?
What a sexy, fun holiday read! Short, steamy, and guaranteed to make your toes curl.
I absolutely loved how raw and real the FMC was — no filters, no fluff, just pure, honest spice and emotion. It felt so refreshing, and their story was something totally different from the usual holiday romps.
If you’re into inanimate objects coming to life (👀) with a lot of spice and a delicious HEA, this one is a must-read!
I read this as an ARC and am leaving my honest review — and honestly, I had the best time!
These shifter romances always amuse the hell out of me. This one is right on time for the Holiday Season. Did I have fun reading it? Yes. Did I cringe a little? also yes.
This Thanksgiving novella was cute, funny & had seasonal spice! I loved it and recommend you read even if it's not Thanksgiving!
Thank you to Tanya Lynn, I will never look at or taste pumpkin pie, stuffing, mashed potatoes, creamed corn or any of the other foodie twists you had in this story, haha!!
I really enjoyed this one, it's a nice short spicy read, perfect for this holiday season. It was really nice getting to see some past characters and dive deeper into one we knew. This one is a good time, that I recommend if you want a bit of fun spice.
Short, steamy, and guaranteed to make you blush. I loved how raw and unapologetically real the FMC felt no filler, no fluff, just genuine emotion and pure spice. It was such a refreshing twist on typical festive romances. If you’re into inanimate objects coming to life with an extra dose of heat and a satisfying happily-ever-after, this one is a must. I read this as an ARC and this is my honest review and I had an absolute blast reading it!
This is a short, exciting, and spicy read with holiday vibes. Our FMC, Liz, goes shopping and purchases and cornucopia whilst looking for presents for her friend, Tasha. Taking home the center piece, she unexpectedly finds the inanimate object useful for something else, something intimate. Little does she know that the cornucopia can feel everything and wishes it could become human to give her exactly what she wants. What happens when he ends up shifting into a human man after all? Will she give into her desires? And why does the man look just like the one from her dreams?
I like the FMC, Liz, and her unfiltered responses: she says what she thinks and expresses how she feels. Her character is so sown to earth and fun! Cornelius is hawt as hell who becomes human to fulfil her desires and needs to break the curse he fell under centuries ago - only true love will do that, but in order to be free he needs to make sure she wants him as much as he does her. So he does his very best to make her happy. Also, I like how possessive and protective he is of her, oh yes! There are times when he was pretty endearing, too.
The plot is easy to follow and short, full of banter and hilarious laugh out loud scenes, cringey moments but in a good way, and hot as hell spice! You get holiday vibes, magical themes, and mystery. The romance is actually sweet, I must say. And you get a happily ever after.
Liz is out here trying to survive the barren wasteland that is modern dating, meanwhile Cornelius—yes, an enchanted wicker cornucopia—has been watching her with all the longing of a broody alpha trapped in a Thanksgiving centerpiece. The way he provides for her, supports her, tries to make her happy?? I was swooning. Over a cornucopia. A CORNUCOPIA. Tanya Lynn owes me restitution.
And then the yearning?? The ANGST?? Cornelius wanting to be more than the thing that holds her fruit and snacks?? Liz slowly realizing the one “man” who has always been there for her… doesn’t even have a pulse?? I was kicking my feet like an unwell Victorian maiden.
This story somehow manages to be: 🦃 whimsical 🧺 weirdly tender 🍂 spicy in ways I did NOT see coming ✨ and emotionally BEAUTIFUL in a “I can’t believe this is happening but I’m fully invested” way
The curse! The longing! The question of whether Liz wants him for him or if he’s just another novelty in her life! I was holding my breath, genuinely stressed over the fate of this sweet, devoted, wicker man.
And when things finally shift—when desire and magic and destiny collide—OH I WAS GONE. Utterly feral. Completely undone. Five stars because I would gladly read an entire series about cursed holiday décor falling in love with deserving women.
My wish would be for Tanya to write books like this once a month. First, they are always funny. Secondly, they are a quick read. But most assuredly, always, always a perfect read after you have suffered through a lousy book. 🤷♀️ 🦃 You should read “If He Wanted To He Wood” but it really isn’t necessary. There were three cursed trees and Tasha found them and …. Anyway, Liz’s best friend is Tasha so she knows there is magic, cursed objects, love in the last place you would expect it. Let’s say she is open to the possibility. 🎁 Liz walks into a gift store to buy a present for Tasha. She finds the cornucopia. It’s a perfect present. She fills it up and tells Tasha everything inside “corny” is a gift but she’s keeping the cornucopia. 🔥 This is a Tanya Lynn story. Enough said! You know it’s going to get spicy. But remember it’s only a cornucopia, a center piece, so … how does Liz get horny for Corny! 😹 Honestly I want to tell you but you must read this book. 🥵 Liz starts to believe her “dreams” are real. Can she uncover the truth? Or is she just imagining the whole thing! ⭐️ I recommend this book to anyone who believes in love, in magic, and understanding your significant other may not always follow what others think are appropriate.
A bizarre, utterly unhinged romance that will make you question everything you thought you knew about love — and cornucopias.

Thank you for the ARC!
I have questions. So, so many questions. This is an utterly bonkers, heartfelt, romance. Tanya, you double-dog dared me not to DNF and I completed the challenge!
Just in time for Thanksgiving, but also, thanks a lot Tanya for making me never look at classic Thanksgiving foods the same! 😅😂 this book was hilarious and god damn I came into this book with no expectations because I had literally no idea where this could go based on the dedication alone "Happy Thanksgiving. Don’t fuck your wicker objects. Or do, I guess—flared base and be safe… Laugh, cringe, and I double-dog dare you not to DNF this book.", like who thinks of fucking wicker objects?! No judgement, just trying to follow the logic 😅. This was a fun light read, now I'm worried I won't look at Christmas trees the same either, so again, thanks a lot. Liz deserved to be loved in the way she was looking for, and Cornelius delivered in every aspect! Corni gets redemption from his curse when Liz comes along, and as odd as they started out it was beautiful to see their relationship come to fruition! Corni's magical taste roulette, I'm still stuck on that..like can he channel what it tastes like?! 😂 anyway, such a fun read! Thank you @tanya_lynn100 for the privilage to once again be part of your ARC team!

Corny but funny, and a little ridiculous (not in a bad way.
In this novella there is a curse at play that keeps the MMC in the form of a cornucopia, where he will remain until his destined lady falls for him, at which time the curse will be broken.
I am so here for this world where cursed objects have all found their way into one side character’s store, and where a cornucopia falls in love with the horny, lonely woman who buys it. This had me laughing— the banter/teasing between the FMC and her friend (and the friend’s 3 boyfriends who used to be TREES), the fact that we get chapters /glimpses from the cornucopia’s POV and he’s got it *bad*, the dirty things the FMC does to the cornucopia while in horn form… it’s funny, bordering on cringey, but spicy and satisfying at the same time.
If you like romance that’s funny, spicy, and a little off the wall that includes magic, curses, love, pure intentions, and a happy ever after, you will enjoy this one!
This is one of the more unique books I have advance read. The chuckles that came out of me had my husband wondering what I was reading. When I read some to him, he looked at me strangely and walked away looking confused. Liz (FMC) has no look when it comes to dating. Her best friend invites her to her thanksgiving meal and she buys a cornucopia for the meal. Little did she know that said cornucopia was a cursed soul called Cornelius (corni for short). Will they break the curse and fall in love? This was a fun and strange read and I couldn't stop reading it. The things Liz does with the cornucopia would make you blush. Go into this book with an open mind and a quirky sense of humour. There are side characters from If He Wanted To He Wood. You don't have to read it first but id advise you do to appreciate them. It's only a short read but it is definitely worth reading it. As always check the triggers. You'll have a chuckle reading this.
"I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.” You are my wish-bone. This short, fast paced, and spicy holiday read blends humor, magic, and romance. The story follows Liz, who purchases a cornucopia while shopping for gifts for her friend Tasha. Once home, she unexpectedly discovers a more intimate use for the object unaware that the cornucopia is sentient and longing to become human to meet her desires. When it finally shifts into a man, questions quickly arise: Will she embrace what she wants, and why does he resemble the man from her dreams? Liz stands out through her candid, unfiltered nature; she communicates her thoughts and feelings directly, giving her character a grounded and engaging presence. Cornelius, the cursed being who becomes human, is portrayed as intensely devoted, protective, and determined to secure his freedom something only true love can accomplish. His efforts to win Liz’s affection add both humor and emotional warmth to the story.💛
You Are My Wish-Bone, written by Tanya Lynn, is an interesting read for the Thanksgiving holiday. I must admit, I had a smirk on my face the entire time while reading this one.
Liz has no luck dating men of quality—useless date after useless date, but it doesn’t stop her from trying to find the one. Liz prepares for the holiday by buying a gift for a friend, a horn of plenty - a cornucopia. Little did she know that the horn of plenty held a cursed soul named Cornelius.
This book was hilarious and spicy. This sentient cornucopia satisfies Liz in many unexpected ways, and I’m here for it. It was creative and had me flipping the pages to see if the curse would be broken, because you know your girl loves a happy ending.
Thanks to Tanya Lynn for gifting me an eARC of You Are My Wish-Bone. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my ow
Tanya's stories are always strange, spicy, and make you wonder why that was hot. Don't expect anything deep or with much plot. This is just unhinged smutty Thanksgiving fun.
Liz is lonely and maybe a little jealous of her friend and her men(from a previous book). When the make plans for Thanksgiving she knows she can't show up empty handed. She buys a large cornucopia filling it with as a center piece.
Next thing we know she's using Cornelius to find her pleasure. I mean who hasn't thought that piece of wicker would be great if I stuck in where it didn't belong.....
As is typical with Tanya's books this will ultimately become a sexy man meant to fulfill all her desires.
The randomly changing cum flavors had me giggling. Really makes you crave Thanksgiving foods. Lol
This was super cute and had lots of fun puns! Such a fun read.
Corni is so sweet, but he’s had centuries to reflect on his questionable behaviour that got him cursed into a cornucopia. He wants to explore with Liz and he lets her take lead, making things SUPER hot for both of them.
Liz, well let’s just say dating has been incredibly UNDERWELMING for her. She just wants something like what Tasha has with her 3 boyfriends. Maybe not 3 men, but at least the love and affection and being SEEN. Corni does this for her. He is everything she needs/wants.
It’s not necessary to read If He Wanted to He Wood but that will give some history and insight to Nathan along with Tasha and her conifer harem. 😉
Tanya does it again! This story was chefs kiss 😘. I mean what’s not to love, a man cursed in a cornucopia who comes to life, worships his women, cooks, cleans, makes sure she gets off first and has thanksgiving flavoured spunk! 🤭 all wrapped up in smutty, hilarious filled love story that really gets up in there.
If you love holiday/thanksgiving stories, sentient smut, and an all around time read then this novella is for you.
Line that maybe me laugh because I say it is “playing whose-lane-is-it-anyways”, being from Manitoba we play that often in winter.
I received this book as an ARC and I am freely giving my honest review.
I had the pleasure of receiving this as an e-ARC and voluntarily will be giving my honest review. This was a short but spicy read. It had all the holiday vibes! Absolutely loved it! A fated mate who is a cornucopia who has been cursed but in the wicker form! This book had me on page one!
“What happens when your fated mate is a cornucopia?
A Thanksgiving with a horn of plenty was bound to become something so much more. While Liz dates useless men, Cornelius is cursed within a wicker form.
He watches her closely and provides everything she could want until he’s the one she desires.
Will they be able to break the curse, or will he just be another toy she uses?”
You Are My Wish-bone is a spicy, thanksgiving read. Cornelius has been cursed. His form is a cornucopia. He's purchased by Liz to be a centerpiece for a dinner, but she finds herself feeling an intimate attraction towards it. Cornelius can feel every thing and also develops an attraction to her as well. What he needs, is for her to help break his curse. And once he's human, he give her everything she desires. But will she be able to break the curse, or is he just another tool for her to use. This story was spicy and a little out of the box but still really enjoyable. I never read anything like this before so this was quite the experience.
You are My Wish-bone is a fun and spicy short holiday romance and the 2nd book in the Cursed Celebrations series. I will say that I know see wicker cornucopias in a completely different perspective!!! Have you ever come across a cursed item that can make things appear, provides out of this world pleasure and spontaneously turns into your dream partner? Well, that’s exactly what Liz gets when she purchases what she believes is a festive table centerpiece for Thanksgiving at her friend’s house. This story is full of wishes, discoveries, longing, banter, and tons of spice!!! Can’t wait to see what Tanya comes out with next!!
1 star rating? 5 star rating? Unsure. You Are My Wishbone is the second book in the interconnected Cursed Celebrations series.
Cornelius was cursed centuries ago for stealing a horn from a river monster. Liz is looking for the perfect man. When Liz buys a cornucopia to take to her friends Thanksgiving dinner she has no idea what she's in for.
You Are My Wishbone is a 92 page sentient romance with holiday flavored spunk and a whole lot of weird. If you're looking for a book you cant take too seriously or looking for a good chuckle then this one is for you
Super smutty, holiday meet cute, romantic story of a woman finding her true mate. If you are looking for a book about something that you have never imagined thinking of in a non platonic way, look no further. I went in blind not remembering or paying attention to the subject matter and as always Tanya did not disappoint. You should read If He Wanted To He Wood first to appreciate the side characters. The puns are brilliant. The cringe is amazing. The what the h3ll am I reading is perfection.
I really enjoyed reading about Liz and Cornelius. It definitely was a wild wide in the beginning, just have to read it and find out haha. This story was a fun read before the Thanksgiving holiday. Liz has no filter and says what she wants which I loved about her during my read. Cornelius was wanting to give Liz what ever she wanted. Can't wait to see what Tanya does with the next book, which I hope there is one :).
Thank you Tanya for allowing me the pleasure of reading Liz and Cornelius's story!
Ermmmmm.......... yeah........ that one..... kinda ..... this is a very strange book, however it is funny in a cringy way.... if you like a book that is a quick read and like wicker objects used in some imaginative way then this is a book for you!!
While I did kinda enjoy this book, and I defo won't be forgetting it any time soon... yeah just let me know what you think 🤔
i absolutely love tanyas mind. these books that she keeps writing always stick with me. funny and just in time for thanksgiving. this read is short but packed with so much. i mean flavored baby batter, a man who worships his woman, and spice.... what more do you want. if you dont like sentient smut then dont pick this up but if you do like me then run and grab it. def a wtf did i just read and i loved it
Tanya Lynn has done it again, delivering a truly exceptional novel. Readers on the lookout for a one-of-a-kind narrative that defies conventions while maintaining a spicy edge will find this book to be an excellent fit. As I began reading, I found myself pondering the direction of the story, but before long, I was completely absorbed, eager to discover the outcome. If you require a brief, stimulating read with all the spice, You Are My Wish Bone is an outstanding choice.
Cornucopia isn't really a thing here in Australia, and honestly, it makes me feel like we're missing out on something truly special. But after reading this, I can't help but feel a sense of longing — it’s eye-opening! Tanya has done it again; she’s a genuine star, always delivering with passion and flair. If you're after something short, sweet, and packed with spice, you simply can't go wrong with any of her works. They’re a fiery burst of joy you don’t want to miss out on.
Do you remember 'If he wanted to, he wood'? 'You are my Wish-bone' is written as another short and spicy, shifter holiday novella and I loved it!
Objects turning into hot and sexy men, the holidays, spice, it's a fun and fast read. If you are looking for a storyline, there isn't much there. But since the book is only 92 pages long, that is to be expected. I loved the spice in the book, and I really liked it to see the characters from the previous book make their apparances.
It's 'Corny' 😉, it's short and spicy and I loved reading it!
*I've read this as an ARC, but this review is my honest opinion.
