Mark my words, Felicity Heaton’s ETERNAL MATES series is going to one day succeed in uprooting Urban Fantasy as my top genre, and after reading HUNTED BY A JAGUAR I find myself barely holding on by the skin of my teeth. This author continuously opens my eyes to the virtues of Paranormal Romance with her bruised males, spirited heroines, and seductive love stories. This installment was a return to the novel that started it all because the elves were back on the front lines, as was one of the founding secondary characters, or rather his sister, and wherever Iolanthe is, big bro is sure to follow. One day his tale will be told, but until then, book 4 was a satisfying substitute.
I enjoyed learning more about Kyter’s background; his sex appeal was already well established thanks to his nightclub owner status (and the cover!), so I was happy that the author chose to focus on his life before Underworld in the opening chapters. The scene where he reunites with his pride was upsetting, and although it did very little to turn me pro jaguar, it solidified Kyter’s character in a big way. I also liked how Heaton played up his kitty attributes via his dialogue, actions and personality. He preens a lot in an attempt to capture his mate’s attention in the early stages of their relationship which made for some great visuals, and purring during sex is just straight-up HOT.
It was interesting that Iolanthe’s reaction to meeting her fated male was as far from insta-love as you can get. In fact, she tries to kill Kyter, and when that fails, she gets the hell out of Dodge. It goes without saying that these two had more than their fair share of issues to work through before a HEA was even in the realm of possibility. Personally, I prefer that to the alternative because it makes for a more compelling read. I really liked Io; she’s spunky, deadly, and in essence a female version of my favourite EM elf. I’m not sure if his identity is a spoiler or not, so I’ll leave it at that, but I’m positive that followers of this series will be able to put two and two together.
This novel’s treasure hunting story line was very entertaining, one of the best to date in my opinion. I enjoyed following the trail of clues, bouncing between locales, and was pleased with how all of the fragments fit together. I also liked that both Kyer and Iolanthe had given up on finding their ETERNAL MATES; the former because his pride told him that he was a lost cause on account of his heritage, and the latter due an elf tradition where a female’s parents get to chose for their daughter if she’s still single on her 1,000th birthday. As a result, this tale had a hopeful feel to it, and validated the proverb that good things come to those who wait.
HUNTED BY A JAGUAR was a sensational way to ring in the New Year, and with three more EM books on the way in as many months, 2015 is looking good!

Kyteris a half breed with a really strong jaguar side. He is the owner of the nightclub ‘Underworld’, first introduced in the Kissed by a Dark Prince. His mother recent death has left him with just one motive to get revenge for her murder from the man responsible, who just happens to his demonic father. For which he needs the artifact.
He was an alpha in very way from the way he wants from his ‘mine’ behavior to the way he wants protect and fight for Iolanthe. He was also quite amusing (at least to me).
Iolanthe is an elf. She is a mercenary, she finds various objects from different dimensions. She is also related to someone we love and would love to see in love Now she has to find a special artifact for a powerful demon or lose her head.
Iolanthe was a strong, independent woman and a skilled warrior. She doesn’t want a mate especially she after being on her own for thousand’s of years.
Kyter and Iolanthe had great chemistry. I think they were good together. Their relationship starts off as adversaries as they are both looking for an artifact for reason which are equally important to them both which made for witty banter and slowly turns into more since the pushy cat doesn’t leave her alone.
The book had a quite a few funny scenes (especially when Kyter finds out who Blue is to Iolanthe) , some sexy time, suspense and battles. It also had cameo’s from some of my favorite characters from Felicity’s other series as well characters from the previous books in this series.
Quibbles: Lolanthe was not a young woman, she was more than 1000 years old and she can take care of herself so I didn’t understand why in the second half she was treated like she didn’t understand anything and become this well amateur at doing something, she had been doing for years. The warrior in her makes a comeback near the end of the book so that’s something. I also didn’t understand why knew she so less about other species such as jaguars and other times didn’t understand some english words.
Overall, this was a great addition to the eternal mates series, I’m really enjoying it and cannot wait for the next book in the series. I also would really like to know what’s the deal with that one particular vampire.He seems very interesting or maybe I just find psychos/blood thirsty interesting. Happy Reading!

Hunted by a Jaguar is the fourth story in Felicity Heaton's Eternal Mates series but although it includes appearances from characters we have already met I think the story would work very well as a stand alone. I love this series though so personally I think you should read them all starting with Kissed by a Dark Prince!
Kyter is an alpha shifter with a dark secret, he left his jaguar pride behind when he left the jungle and has never looked back. Now the owner of Underworld, a nightclub that caters to shifters, fae and demons alike, Kyter has left his past behind him. When he finds out that demons attacked his old pride and murdered his mother he swears to get revenge. All he needs is to find the artefact that will enable him to summon his enemy. Iolanthe is a treasure hunter who is also searching for the artefact, she only has a week to find it for her client or she will suffer the consequences. Kyter and Iolanthe are both desperate to find the item which leads to a fierce rivalry between them but could they both get what they want if they can just find a way to work together?
I have to say how much I loved this story, we met Kyter in the first book in the series when Loren and the others visited Underworld but we didn't know much about him and I enjoyed finding out about his past. It was quite heartbreaking reading about his upbringing though and I was so mad at the way his pride had treated him - he was an innocent child and they blamed him for something that was completely out of his control which was just maddening. Considering the way he was raised he has grown up to be a surprisingly caring guy, he has built a good life for himself and he has turned Underworld into a safe place for others to be, somewhere that they will be protected and cared for. Kyter was abandoned by his family but he has created a pride of his own and he will protect the members with his life. His biggest regret was leaving his mother behind when he left so he feels terrible now that she has been murdered. The only thing he can do is promise to avenge her and there is nothing that will stop him destroying the demon who hurt her.
Iolanthe is a new character (well, I don't remember seeing her before anyway) but she is the sister of someone we're very familiar with. I'm not going to say who for fear of spoilers but I will say I loved getting to see another side of one of my favourite characters through Iolanthe and I really, REALLY hope that we get their story soon - it's one I've been wanting for such a long time now! I loved how strong Iolanthe was, she isn't a weak heroine who needs a man to rescue her, in fact she's smart, intelligent and more than capable of protecting herself. When she first meets Kyter she wants nothing to do with him, the last thing she wants is a man who is going to stop her from living her life the way she wants to. Kyter is a bit of an idiot at their first meeting so I was really pleased that Iolanthe didn't take any of his crap, luckily he soon wises up and realises how stupid he was and it doesn't take long for him to make up for it. I was glad that he realised his mistake and was man enough to apologise for his actions and I don't blame Iolanthe for finding it hard to resist his flirtatious nature. There is a lot of fun banter between the two of them, they have fantastic chemistry and I enjoyed seeing them learn to work together.
Hunted by a Jaguar was a very satisfying story and it's left me eager to get my hands on the next book in the series. This series just gets better and better and I'm sure Cavanaugh is going to win my heart in Craved by an Alpha.

Another great installment in this series... A tough as nails heroine, A hot and studdly Jaguar shifter and lots of playful schmexy time! And, of course a moving and action filled storyline... This author never disappoints!
The coming together of Iolanthe and Kyter was highly amusing! Kyter comes from a culture where the woman submits and obeys when paired with her mate. So, when he meets Iolanthe and feels the mating pull kick in this is kind of what he expected... but that is NOT what he got. Let's just say that a female elf who values her freedom and independence that she's enjoyed for several thousand years isn't too inclined to be collared to any man. Yes, Kyter had to work a little bit to win her over and he had to "compromise"... not easy to do when it goes against his very nature. They are both on the hunt for the same artifact and there are definite trust issues that must be overcome. Can they work together?? You'll have to read to find out... :)
Kyter is the sexy Jaguar shifter who owns the Underworld club and we met him in a previous book. His back story truly moved me and he is the kind of character that has you rooting for him to find love. Having been rejected by his pack because he was born different, he was quickly tossed aside as someone who would never have a mate. But, Iolanthe, even though she was an elf... was surprisingly the perfect woman for him. His differences and her ability to adapt to them were what made their match work... and, they had some serious chemistry together. Yes, there was purring and tickling... they had very playful schmexy time... my favorite kind!
We get to spend some time with Bleu in this book and I have to say I teared up a little... I need him to meet his mate... please tell me he's getting his own book! I wanted to reach inside the book and give him a hug.
So, this is my FAVORITE PR series right now... I have loved each and every book in this series...
Bring on book five... I'm ready!

This series is the perfect go for a short steamy, action packed , eternal mates read.
I love these characters and how they all are connected somehow.
This is Kyter's and Iolanthe's romance story. He owns the Underworld bar we saw Loren get drunk in the first book (still funny af) and she is a treasure hunter. Her new job just got her in the arms of her fated male. Their road to hea is not an easy one, but it was a exciting journey.
Fast paced, steamy, adventure and swoon moments.
I crave all the glimpses we get of Blue( his book is 9 in this series).

2.75 "I blame me" stars
I didn't enjoy this as much because of how detached it felt and I have to say the blame lies solely with me, what with me not remembering even a sliver of the previous books.
But also cause Kyter turns out wasn't my type. I mean, there were all these hints of him being super strong and that him getting his ass kicked was only cause he refused to tap into his powers but I didn't get to "see" any of it and he just- and I just- I don't know- when I think of him "wuss" is the only word that comes to mind. :/
Iolanthe was a total "badass" though, like "Damn, Gurl!"
There's a review in the public review section by Izzy and the picture she has used for Io? I think that was my main motivation for picking this up. xD

This is one of my favorite paranormal series and HUNTED BY A JAGUAR just added to the goodness that is the ETERNAL MATES series. In this installment we get Kyter and Iolanthe's story. Kyter is a hybrid jaguar shifter/demon who is reeling from the attack on his pride and the death of his mother. After finding out who is responsible for his mother's death Kyter is set on getting revenge and settling a score that has long been due. In order to do that Kyter has to find an artifact that will summon the creature he wants to bring to justice.
Iolanthe is determined to find the same artifact but for very different reasons. Iolanthe is a strong willed and competent woman (elf) who has worked alone for over a thousand years and doesn't want to share her mission with Kyter. However, once they cross paths Kyter recognizes what Iolanthe is to him and he won't let her go without a fight. There's a surprise twist in this one and my favorite males in this series, Bleu, makes an appearance.
Heaton knows how to weave a paranormal romance that is both sexy and engaging. You can't go wrong with any of the ETERNAL MATES books and my favorite is always the one that I just read which is something that I haven't been able to say about a series in a long time.

Another great installment to the series, but I NEED Bleu to have his own story and HEA! I've looked ahead and I don't see him getting his own book yet. I'm not really complaining because I'm looking forward to the next stories and Heaton is releasing them quite close together which is amazing. Okay, yes I am complaining. PLEASE Felicity Heaton give Bleu his own book. Full review for this one to come!

Hunted by a Jaguar is the fourth book in the Eternal Mates series. Once again Felicity Heaton delivers an exciting, fast-paced story filled with her signature styled alpha hero and arse-kicking heroine, all set in her ever-expanding universe where both terrifying and tantalizing supernaturals can be found. Now in book four meet the sexy, shape-shifting jaguar Kyter who meets his match in Iolanthe, the fierce, warrioress and artifact collector from the elven realm.
Each time I pick up the newest story from the Eternal Mates series I can't help, but wonder what is in store next. Will I thrill again and get sucked into the characters lives, the worldbuilding and the lush romance. Hunted by a Jaguar is no exception, and in fact I was surprised by the sense of deadly adventure in this story as well as the surprise inclusion of a beloved character that is not to be missed by fans of this series.
Kyter and Iolanthe's paths cross when both are in search of a deadly artifact that means retribution for one and freedom for the other. The plot quickly whisk the reader from the tops of Mount Vesuvius to the verdant home of the elven race. From the darkest pits of the Underworld where both Kyter and Iolanthe will descend, and back again to the lush and exotic rainforest of the jaguar tribe. I've enjoyed the supernatural realms that I've encountered in the books before, but I was completely taken away as this time our hero and heroine explored unknown territories not in previous books, and the adventurer in me smiled happily.
Iolanthe as I mentioned is a fierce warrioress, one who tracks down rare artifacts through the human and supernatural realms. Her boss, not-so-nice, is threatening her in the exchange for the artifact. Kyter has one hell of a time even getting close to Iolanthe before she breaks out some serious ares-kicking. Independent, this jaguar sets off all Iolanthe's alarm bells with his mix of protectiveness and alpha attitude, yet melts her heart with his hidden vulnerabilities. I loved their chemistry together as Kyter skillfully courts Iolanthe, and I loved the fact that she is truly able to kick his arse, despite him being extremely agile and battle tough. The chase between these two was fabulous and emotional.
This is another not to be missed installment with old friends helping out and new supernatural enemies not seen before that take the plot arc to a new level. Yes, it can actually be read as a standalone, but I would recommend starting with the first book as one of my favorite aspects in this series is how older characters continually mingle their way into the story adding depth and meaning to the series of eternal mates.

Hunted by a Jaguar is book four in the Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton. Ok, so what can I say that has not been said. Hunted by a Jaguar is another Amazing Spectacular Winner in the Eternal Mates series. This one can be read as a standalone, but If you want to know who some of the other characters are that are talked about then best to read in order. We get trust issues, suspense, action, a knowing that they are mates, but one or both fight it, and so much more.
Kyter, is a Jaguar shifter, owner of a nightclub, and has a very big secret. He goes on a quest of revenge, but finds something much more precious. He has to fight his instincts or lose what he never thought he would have. I loved him. What a hottie. His inner battles where well done and intriguing.
Iolabthe, is an elf. She needs to find an artifact or face death. She never expected to run into her Fated Mate. She is fantastic. I love that she is an archaeologist of sorts and very independent, but she also has a soft side. We also get a very big surprise on a family relation of hers, which I just loved.
FHeaton does an amazing job bringing us everything we love in a PNR. The story pulls you in from the start. We get so much depth with the plot, world, and characters. The writing flows and the characters are always well developed. The sex is fantastic and hot. The chemistry between Kyter and Iolabthe is breathtaking. I love it when a book brings back old characters and connects them to the present. I was also very surprised to see someone from Vampirectice make an appearances. Eee (loved that scene). Those who have read VET will love this surprise. One scene I loved was/is the water scene with our leads. Yes ladies, you will know what I’m talking about when you read it. OMG HAWT!
Outstanding! Extraordinary! Superb! This is a must read for any PNR fans. FHeaton is an unbelievable storyteller and her works are worth trying out.

Hunted by a Jaguar is book four in the Eternal Mates series. This is another fast-paced, steamy story as I've come to expect from Felicity Heaton. The world that Heaton has built just continues to get stronger. We have another kickass heroine paired together with alpha male hero. They are perfect for each other, but it takes both of them a while to figure that out.
Kyter is a half jaguar, but he doesn't live with his pride. He left them a long time ago. He was never accepted as part of the pride and his mother was shunned because of his birth, or more importantly, who his father was. He now lives in London and owns and runs 'Underworld', a bar that caters to supernaturals that we saw in Kissed by a Dark Prince. He is a great character that you can't help but root for with the troubled past that he has had and how he has overcome it to make a life that he is happy with.
Iolanthe is a mercenary/treasure hunter and an elf. She is on the hunt for an artifact for an extremely dangerous man. If she doesn't bring him the artifact soon, she is going to lose her head. Kyter just happens to be looking for the same artifact. Kyter needs this artifact to summon a demon for revenge for his old village and he death of his mother.
Kyter and Iolanthe are an interesting couple. Iolanthe is a very free spirit and really values her independence. Jaguar society have very submissive women, which is not Iolanthe. This is one of the reason that she fights against the attraction to Kyter from the beginning. Kyter has to learn to fight his nature if he is going to woo this woman.
This is a book that you could read without having read the previous books in the series, but as I'm a big fan of all the books, I would highly recommend just starting at the beginning and meet all the great characters that Heaton has given us. I was really excited to have a shifter added to this world. If you are a fan of paranormal romance or urban fantasy, this is a series you should really try. Felicity Heaton has intriguing characters, that are not perfect, but are very real. The world and plot are alway amazing. Can't wait to get into Craved by an Alpha.

I was very happy to receive an ARC of this book because I am a huge fan of this series but I will be honest in my review. I liked this book very much but I have to say that it took some time for me. The first half of this book is kind of slow and without a lot of action. Also, I don’t know if it’s only me but I missed more dialogues. But the second half? It was the bomb!
Kyter is a jaguar shifter with a secret and he is after an artefact that will help him take his revenge after the great loss he experienced. In his way, he will meet Iolanthe who is a stubborn elf and who searches for the same artefact. And soon they come close…
I liked Kyter, although sometimes he gave me the impression that he is more jaguar than man. He’s strong, proud and determined to succeed. But the most important is that when he meets his mate he is ready to do anything to protect her and that shows us that he needs to be loved and find someone to start a family.
Iolanthe is also a very nice character. Stubborn but determined, she’s the perfect mate for Kyter. At the beginning she couldn’t accept their bond but soon it was obvious that she was very happy with that.
What I liked most in this book? The appearance of Bleu! I won’t say why he is a part of this book but I will say that he’s amazing!
It was a very good read and I recommend it to all the fans of this genre!

This is the fourth book in the Eternal Mates Series. I loved it!
First off, I would like to say that I absolutely LOVE the covers used in this series. Every one of them that I have seen are extremely drool worthy, and I would seriously consider hanging these up on my walls if they were available as posters. However, as they are not, I will just have to drool over my Kindle.
Kyter is a character who was introduced in the first book of the series, Kissed by a Dark Prince. He intrigued me from the start, so I am now glad to have read his story. I really liked this intense cat! He's so sexy! However, he also has a vulnerability about him I couldn't help but fall in love with. He may be a jaguar shifter, but he has a dark secret, which is not so secret to his pride. He has endured and survived terrible abuse because of this secret, which drove him from his home in the jungle to the bright lights and urban sprawl of London where he runs his nightclub, Underworld. When he sees a mysterious beauty in the street and their paths cross, Kyter is stunned. Can he convince her that they are meant to be together as Eternal Mates?
Iolanthe is a fantastic character. I really liked her feisty, take-no-prisoners attitude. She is very independent, and hates giving up control of her life. She is a treasure seeker (think a female Indiana Jones), who has been tasked with finding an artefact for a dangerous client who happens to be a demon. When she meets Kyter, sparks fly, but can she overcome her fear of losing control long enough to find true happiness?
I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this book, and pre-ordered my copy as soon as it became available.
I started to read it as soon as I could and was quickly swept away. The scenes were so well described that I felt like I was actually there, in amongst the action. I really wanted to get my hands on the village elder of Kyter's pride, due to what he perpetuated and allowed to happen in Kyter's formative years. Sadly, since he is a fictional character, I cannot. But, if these events not happened to a younger Kyter, would he be the same person he is today? I am not so sure. However, as the events did happen, it gave me a deeper appreciation for the man he is now.
There is a cameo appearance by Payne, one of the characters from the Erotic Vampire Theatre series. He is only in one scene, so if you blink, you may just miss him. I enjoyed that scene though. Another character makes a welcome appearance in this series, and that character is Bleu. At first, I was surprised by his appearance in the story, but since he is friendly with Kyter and when his relationship to Iolanthe comes to light, it made perfect sense. The reader is also introduced to Cavanaugh, another cat shifter, who works for Kyter at Underworld. He has issues of his own, and I am looking forward to finding out what they are in the future.
The story is full of action and danger in the form of demons who happen to also be assassins. What was not fully explained, I felt, was what the demons wanted with Barafnir. However, that was a minor irritant to me. Other readers may not have the same reaction. There are several twists and turns in this tale, which kept me hooked from beginning to end. I found myself on an emotional roller coaster ride throughout the story. There is a fantastic fight scene featuring Kyter, Iolanthe, Bleu and Barafnir, which had me sitting on the edge of my seat. This is one thing I love about this author - her flair for describing battle scenes in such detail that I can not only picture it, but smell it and feel like I'm actually there! I cannot wait for the next book in the series, Craved by an Alpha, which is due to be released soon.
Felicity Heaton has written another fast paced, sexy paranormal romance that I thoroughly enjoyed! I love her writing style, which flows effortlessly from scene to scene. She is number one on my favourite authors list!
I do not recommend this book to younger readers due to the extremely HOT and explicit sexual scenes. However, I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love sexy paranormal romances full of vampires, elves, werewolves, succubi, incubi, angels, dragons and demons. - Lynn Worton

I'll reserve final judgement on my absolute favorite in this series until it's complete but Hunted by a Jaguar is my favorite so far. I still adore Thorne and Sable as a couple because I love their snarky banter but the playfulness, chemistry, and depth of feeling between Kyter and Iolanthe rocketed them to the top of the list.
Kyter is seeking vengeance while Iolanthe is seeking to save her life when the happen upon one another. Watching as these two dance around one another, getting to know them each better, and seeing them get to know one another was enchanting. They both have some predisposed notions to work through but they're each strong, capable, and caring and will do what they have to do to secure the future they long for. Kyter and Iolanthe feel so deeply - it was seen in how they care about their families and in how they felt for one another. Kyter had some deep-seated issues with needing acceptance and the ways Iolanthe soothed that need was heartwarming. That Kyter could hold back his instincts to give Iolanthe was she needed was also heartening. There was also a playfulness between them -- it made me smile to see them play off one another, tease each other.
Another reason this is my favorite? The details. Heaton did an incredible job at describing the locations in which the action was set. Heculaneum, Pompeii, the Amazon rainforest -- I could picture it all as if I was there. I could feel the heat and humidity, feel the dirt and grime. Also, the way she depicted the battles made for a visceral experience. I was there in the heat of Hell, feeling the searing pain of a sword blow, and the movement of air when wings
were in motion. All this really enhanced the story.
And then there's Bleu. I was delighted to spend some time with his handsome, scowling face. His scenes made me smile, laugh, grimace, and gasp. I feel as though I got to see another side of the elf and I am desperate for him to find his happy ending.
Hunted by a Jaguar touched on many topics -- pride, acceptance, female independence, duty -- and Heaton wove them all into a riveting story. I'm sure it says something about me that my favorite stories in this series involve strong heroines and blood and guts. But whatever that says, I'm reveling in the Eternal Mates series and Kyter and Iolanthe's story in particular.

Iolanthe and Kyter are after the same artifact. Both are doing it for entirely different reasons. Not an easy task but Iolanthe and Kyter are the best with what they do and with dire motivation, failure is not an option. Heaton packs this story with plenty of adventure. It was unexpected and a pleasant surprise.
Kyter is a half Breed Jaguar but has been living apart from his mother’s pack from quite some time. His past was not a good one, but I love that he’s made something for himself. With recent sad events, he is forced to go back leading him to seek revenge. I love that he is fierce but also has many vulnerabilities. His tactics, to win Iolanthe’s heart, was done with careful planning, and he simply followed through. The man knows how to court a woman.
At first I could not tell what type of creature Iolanthe is. Immortal for quite some time, Iolanthe is both knowledgeable and ignorant about the world. I thought her cute when she tried to familiarize herself with Kyter’s world. She is one of those go getters, and I am always in awe with that kind of strength and independence on a girl. It was adorable how she let Kyter have his way and attempt to protect her. But Iolanthe is something else. Well, both of them are something else. Wait til you see their untapped powers. Thier lineage is impressive!
Hunted by a Jaguar was a fast paced read. It was sweet and romantic yet action packed. It also felt like it had more adventure compared to the prior books in this series. It had Kresley Cole’s IAD series feel to it. Although, Hunted By A Jaguar is closely related to one of my favorite characters from this series, I would’ve loved to read more about the couples from the previous books.

Where do I begin. Hunted by a Jaguar was awesome! Intrigue, adventure and great characters - frankly it has it all. Hard to be disappointed when you love a book so much you stay up until 3am reading because you can't put it down.
Iolanthe and Kyter. Very interesting characters. I liked them...a lot. Tough, strong but both have their fragile sides. Both are on the hunt for the same artefact for very different reasons. Oh yes, there reasons are really good ones. So good frankly, I didn't know which one I wanted to cheer on the most. Doesn't matter because the journey they took to find it was exciting and made for a great read. But that wasn't all. There's also the journey they took to become a couple that had me sighing and purring! Yummy sex gets me every time. Of course it also helps when there is great secondary characters that add to the story. Cavanaugh and Bleu - OMG these guys need to each get their own story. Are you listening Ms. Heaton? I'm begging here.

Hunted by a Jaguar by Felicity Heaton
If you love soul mates/fated mates stories mixed in with paranormal your in for a treat with this series.
This is Book 4 and is a great read. Kyter is jaguar shifter, but his also half demon...... I thought Kyter was a very lovable rogue, I loved how he came across and how his loyal, dependable, let alone protective and sexy. I also have to mention the sign outside his club and the play room.... his cat side is a big part of him.
Iolanthe or Io, I Decided to shorten her name to that before anyone else did in book, it's a bit of a mouthful, well she has some great lines and comes across as a strong independent lady. Her and Kyter share some great banter, let alone a fierce attraction they can't ignore forever.
These two meet searching for the same artefact but for different reasons, I was wondering if and how this was going to tie in with other books and I loved that twist when it came along.
This is a must read series for PNR fans, contains all sorts of paranormal beings, love and action, and this instalment is another page turner of a book.
I believe you could read this book as a standalone without the need to catch up, but id recommend reading previous books.

If you love soul mates/fated mates stories mixed in with paranormal your in for a treat with this series.
This is Book 4 and is a great read. Kyter is jaguar shifter, but his also half demon...... I thought Kyter was a very lovable rogue, I loved how he came across and how his loyal, dependable, let alone protective and sexy. I also have to mention the sign outside his club and the play room.... his cat side is a big part of him.
Iolanthe or Io, I Decided to shorten her name to that before anyone else did in book, it's a bit of a mouthful, well she has some great lines and comes across as a strong independent lady. Her and Kyter share some great banter, let alone a fierce attraction they can't ignore forever.
These two meet searching for the same artefact but for different reasons, I was wondering if and how this was going to tie in with other books and I loved that twist when it came along.
This is a must read series for PNR fans, contains all sorts of paranormal beings, love and action, and this instalment is another page turner of a book.
I believe you could read this book as a standalone without the need to catch up, but id recommend reading previous books.

Kyter is a mixed breed, part jaguar and part demon. He is kickarse like all Felicty' male leads and headstrong which I love. He has spunk and attitude but deep beneath his tough exterior lies a male with depth and soul. Torn and conflicted emotions bombard Kyter and we see his hard exterior melt away.
Iolanthe is a strong female character.. She is no perfect but certainly not a woman to be reckoned with.
A common goal has brought them together but they certainly get more then they ever expected.
Once again Felicity creates a strong solid plot with intriguing characters. We are swept along within the pages enjoying the vivid details both emotionally and physically along the way.
Her world - building is once again well portrayed and put forth. Taking us to a place in which is easily envisaged and enjoyed.
Kyter and Iolanthe have chemistry and pull that is undeniable. As always this authors male leads are smexy as , and ooze lots of sex appeal to not just the reader but the heroine .
We see characters from Previous book pop in within this story, this I enjoyed much so.
Hunter by A Jaguar is a sweet and spicy paranormal buffet for all romance reader who like there reads hot and there characters charismic.

what a book this was. I do not know how Felictiy Heaton comes up with these stories. But please never let her loose her muse. these books are compelling, entrancing and absolutely hot and sexy. I love how the woman in her stories are not these week damsels in distress but every bit and more the warriors the men are. She has a way with grabbing your attention from page one and holding you hostage there till you reach the last page. I wont say specifics about this story, so i do not spoil it but man I love her elves and Io is amazing. and purrfect for Kyter.

oh my gosh... love the eternal mates series.. each is better than the last..
In this book Iolanthe is on the hunt for an artifact for a Demon from Hell..Kyter is in search of the same artifact to find his Demon father, and kill him for what he had done to Kyter's mother..

Yes, this is a really good paranormal romance. I immediately bought the next book in the series and intend to read lots more of them. Ms. Heaton is rather prolific. This was a treasure hunt...a jaguar shifter demon cross and an elf are both looking for the same artefact. The key to summon a particular demon. For the shifter, it's personal. For the elf it may be a matter of life or death. A wonderful journey to take with these two. Lots of twists and turns along the way as well as love and hot sex. Recommended

This scene. This scene is when I truly fell in love with Kyter. He just oozed alpha, but he exuded genuine passion and care for Iolanthe. I swooned and sighed and melted into a damn puddle all over the floor. Words can’t. I can’t even. Just…Hokay..So Kyter has had his entire world destroyed with the news he received from his pride. This tragedy is the last straw, and sets him on a path for vengeance and justice that he is determined to see to the end. Plans are all well and good, but the wrenches that get thrown in have a way of throwing them off course. That wrench comes in the form of treasure hunter Iolanthe, a stunning woman that Kyter can’t seem to leave alone.
Kyter, Kyter, Kyter. Why do I love you so? Kyter is the kind of man any woman would be lucky to have, and he really doubled my love for shifters. Despite the hell he lived in as a child, he became a very loyal and dedicated man. He strived to accomplish everything on his own and prove that he could do whatever he set his mind to. He worked incredibly hard, and treasured his accomplishments. But even though he had done so much with his life, it was clear he still wasn’t happy. He was missing something in his life. And when Iolanthe stepped into the picture, everything changed for him. He pursued her with a dedication that clearly came from his will to succeed. He was devastatingly passionate and caring, always being the protector and cataclysmic lover. He understood there was a time to follow his instincts as a jaguar, and a time to be the man he was inside. This mix made him incredibly strong and overwhelmingly irresistible. The way he treated Iolanthe had me swooning left and right, wishing that I could take her place. He was a prime example of how wondrous love with a shifter can be.
I wasn’t sure how I felt about Iolanthe in the beginning. She didn’t really seem like I character that I could see myself getting behind for the long haul. By the end of the book, I liked her, but she didn’t particularly stand out to me in any special way. She was very stubborn and set in her ways, afraid that change would force her to give up what she loves. She always put people at a distance, unless absolutely necessary to let them closer. She was incredibly dedicated to what she loves, and passionate about it too. On the other side of the coin, however, she was just as passionate when it came to Kyter. For some reason, she could not shake him or the need to see him again. She reveled in fact that he was unlike any other man she had ever met. It through her for a loop at first, but it quickly developed into something much more meaningful for both of them. Despite her rough and semi-cold demeanor, deep down she truly cared about those around her. She did what she could to help Kyter, and along the way discovered something about herself she never would have otherwise. She was a strong woman with a beautiful heart, and in the end, she was the perfect match for a man such as Kyter.
This entire series has been a homerun for me. There has not been a single book so far that I have not absolutely loved. This series is a favorite from book 1 to now, and each book just keeps getting better. Each story is beautiful. The characters really grab me and burrow into my soul. I never know what I’m going to get with each new book, but I know I’ll enjoy the ride. Thank you, Felicity, for another smash hit for me. Excited for book 5!

Hunted by a Jaguar is the fourth instalment in Ms Heatons Eternal Mates paranormal romance series and what a corker it is! We have previously seen Elves take centre stage but this time the author treats her readers to an amazing mixture of Jaguar shifter with a little something extra thrown in! Yes the hero of our story is Kyter a character who has previously been on the fringes of this series and finally here we get answers to questions about him and an awful lot more as his need for vengeance will take him on a journey of discovery that will change his life forever
Iolanthe has been finding artefacts for discerning clients for a very long time indeed but it looks as if this time she has bitten off more than even she can chew! Pressed into service by a Demon with a fearful reputation her search leads her to Italy but what she finds there is most definitely not her prize because at ever turn there's a most annoying male who seems determined to get in her way! If Iolanthe doesn't retrieve her missing prize there will be dire consequences but it looks as if both Kyter and Iolanthe seek the same object . Can they reach an understanding and work together or is this one treasure hunt that's bound to end in disaster?
Kyters backstory is truly heartbreaking and even as this story begins the reader is immediately pulled into what is such a sad state of affairs. Ignorance and prejudice have coloured much of Kyters earlier years with truly despicable acts being rained down upon him but it's his sorrow for his mother that captured my sympathy. Indeed I think it would be a very hard hearted reader who did not empathise with Kyter. Do not misunderstand he is not a character to pity as he has achieved much in his life and has grown up to be a strong and somewhat cheeky individual but his true grit is about to be tested with a surprising outcome and wow a battle royal is most definitely on the cards!
Iolanthe is a complete revelation and far more wily than Kyter first gives her credit for. Possessing certain skills she has always managed to capture her prize but this time she is way out of her depth. She is prepared to face any consequences though and bravely tries to shield the charming Kyter but she underestimates him and just how determined he really is. I loved that Iolanthe gave Kyter a run for his money and her attitude to the difference in their ages was hilarious but my favourite thing? Discovering just who her brother is! O my what a surprise and trust me it's a character that readers are clamouring for!
This book was fast moving with a strong storyline that just pulled this reader in and I adore the bright cover! Action, adventure, romance and of course enough snark and humour to raise a smile. I'm loving this series and can't wait to discover what the author has install for her characters (and readers!) next.

This is Kyter & Iolanthe's Story.
I'm not going to delve into the whole story and plot because I don't want to spoil it for the reader, but I can say the story does have some rather revealing treats that you don't want to miss!
Kyter is a jaguar shifter with a little evil blood mixed within, he's been alone a very long time, when a heartbreaking tragedy takes him back to the village and the pride who shunned him as a boy this sets him on the journey and a whole lot more and the need of finding an artefact that will maybe help him to move on and set right some wrongs but little does he know this path will take him to another that is also looking for the same artefact and it is going to change his life in more ways than one, he wasn't looking but maybe finding his fated female (one that he never thought he would have) might just be a life changer for him.
Iolanthe's is an Elf a very stubborn Elf, she works on her own and doesn't need any help, she's has amazing strength, very strong willed, and stubborn too, add that with a little attitude and you have one super powerful female Elf, but she can also be very sweet and endearing I think. Iolanthe is in the business of finding artefacts for some rather dangerous clients and has her own issues and battles in life to deal with and finding this artefact for her client could possibly mean she has bitten off more that can chew!
Kyter and Iolanthe's both need this artefact and will eventually have to work together to find it but when found which one needs it the most!
The plot was really really good and didn't disappoint at all, and had me hooked right from the beginning and considering this is the first book in 4 that Felicity has coming out right after each other, I cannot wait to read the other 3 if this one is anything to go by then bring in the next!
The amazing thing when Felicity's writes is that she's drags you into her world and you feel like your actually there with them, theres so much detailing in her stories, the Characters, the Battles, the Places, even the blushing that Iolanthe keeps doing you can picture in your mind and feel it with her, even more so when Felicity describes their Armour and surroundings, and of course lets no forget the Amazing Hot Love Scenes I did go through quite a few different emotions reading this book, which is a usual occurrence for me when reading this Authors books.
Well all I can further say is Thank You Felicity Heaton for another Stunning read, you never disappoint with your writing and I always look forward to reading more of your books,

HUNTED BY A JAGUAR by FELICITY HEATON I know that when I take up a book written by Felicity Heaton I am in for an exciting adventure, one that I do not want to end anytime soon. Hunted by a Jaguar did not disappoint. It was everything I was expecting and more.
This is the fourth book in the exciting Eternal Mates series and like the previous books it can be read as a stand-alone. As a side note it would be great to read the other books in the series as they are all good in their own right.
Hunted by a Jaguar is the story of Kyter and Iolanthe. Kyter is a jaguar shifter and the owner of a nightclub in London. He was estranged from his pride due to circumstances beyond his command. However, unforeseen circumstances led to a reunion with his pride. I found the reunion upsetting and my heart went out to Kyter. It’s heartrending to see all he had gone through being a member of the pride. Kyter is strong, but there is a vulnerable side to him, which he keeps hidden from those closest to him.
Iolanthe is a bad ass, deadly and spunky elf. It was a pleasant surprise to discover who she is related to. She is a treasure hunter and was currently on a mission to find an artifact for a dangerous client. Her search led to her crossing paths with Kyter who also happened to be looking for the same artifact. Here we see two people who are complete opposites who have the same goal but different missions. Will they work together to achieve a common goal or will they go it on their own?
The chemistry between them was off the charts. Kyter recognized her as his fated mate. Iolanthe on the other hand is not willing to accept this. Kyter definitely has his work cut out for him. The hunt is definitely on.
The story, although pure fantasy, touched on real life issues such as prejudices, acceptance of self and the value of teamwork. These are areas we relate to at some point in our lives. It has the perfect balance of romance and action. The fight scenes were awesome. Ms. Heaton is skilled at describing scenes which makes the reader feel as if they are a part of it all. The story flows flawlessly from beginning to end. Hunted by a Jaguar is an awesome, sexy, fast paced paranormal romance that will leave you breathless.
If you are a fan of this author then you know what you are missing by not reading this story.
If you are new to her then what better way to acquaint yourself by starting with this series. I highly recommend it.
