Who’s the tattooed rock god with the sinful voice? Oh great… My new boss is the bad boy every woman wants and every man envies. And I’m the small-town assistant hired to keep his chaos on schedule.
Bo struts through life like the world owes him a standing ovation. I walked into his rehearsal thinking I could handle him. Big mistake. The man smirks, sings, and ruins my peace with one lazy glance. He’s music, muscle, and trouble wrapped in leather and late nights. I’m supposed to keep things professional. Except he keeps breaking rules I didn’t know I had. And the more I fight it, the closer he gets.
He says I’m his muse. But what happens when the show ends… And the wrong move feels like the only one that’s right?
This was my first time reading this author and I have to say that I will read more of her books in the future. The bad boy rocker, Bo and his assistant Mary are heating things up. How do you resist a man like Bo. This was a good read with the chemistry and steam making this rock romance a page turner.
This “rockstar” romance is unusual and a great departure from the formula rock & roll romance. Like the MFC it’s a quiet story that moves very logically through the stages of attraction, lust and finally love. It doesn’t depend on the obligatory misunderstanding that you see coming from miles away. It’s a thoughtful love story that has two grown ups falling for each other under very stressful conditions. I truly appreciated the nuances and the steam.
Emily just rocked my world again by writing this romance book about Bo and Mary. Wrong Move with Enticing Rockstar is filled with heat, romance, lust and love with a HEA ending you will be singing happy songs about. What is supposed to just be a working relationship ends up becoming something both Mary and Bo can't resist.
The writing for this book was very good. However, I found it hard to finish because of the slowness of the book. I feel that the characters danced around each other a lot which can be a great slow burn, however, when they actually collided it was anticlimactic in my opinion. It is a good book for those who like slow burns.
