Just got done reading Common Ground by RD Copsey. This was the best if the 3, and that's saying something, as I loved the first two books! The characters are SO REAL - especially if you grew up in Boise or know Southern Idaho. This story is a lot less on Mountain Bikes and a LOT more murder mystery, as well as some romantic relationships that develop (and might end) in the story. There are so many things that happen in this story it's difficult to take it all in...yet also VERY EASY to take it all in, due to the superb writing and the way the store is arranged. Each new story-angle adds to the overall plot...and RD Copsey really develops each angle with a LOT of detail than makes you think you are THERE! I loved Loose Ends and Deadman's Curve (the first two books in the series, which I have already read), and the characters and their likes and dislikes and skills and traits are REALLY developed in this book. I feel like I know them all, and know them WELL! Common Ground by RD Copsey is a wonderful book and the series of all 4 of them would make a wonderful Christmas Gift - and they are not that expensive! I ordered all 4 from Amazon they were here the next day at no extra cost. I don't read a lot (if ANY) fiction books, but these won me over very quickly. Can't wait to read the final one...which I will start next week.
