Wyatt Banks is ready to give one woman the world. Unfortunately, his job as a cop tends to interfere with other goals. When Wyatt is sent deep undercover to investigate a sex slave ring, he doesn’t have time to do anything but focus on staying alive in a dark and dangerous underworld.
Wyatt isn’t alone though in his quest to save the women that are being sold into sexual slavery.
His partner, FBI Agent Andrea Somerville, is immersed just as deeply as he is, and she’s the bait to lure the sex slavers out into the open, as she poses as an erotic dancer in an attempt to snare the enemy. But danger runs as high as the sparks between them, and now Wyatt is caught between the job he loves and the woman he wants.

I have really enjoyed Sawyer Bennett’s other books so I was so excited to start this one. The story begins with us meeting Wyatt. H is a North Carolina police officer and about to go undercover to bust a guy suspected of human trafficking. Wyatt is getting older and is looking to settle down, so he decides this will be his last undercover assignment.
He moves from the Outer Banks to Raleigh and begins working at a strip club as the manager. It takes months for him to finally get in with the owner, but once he learns more about the criminal activity he learns they need a female to go undercover as a stripper.
Andrea is a FBI agent in Pittsburgh and is looking to further her career. She is newly single and has hopes of getting into an elite group within the FBI, so when the undercover assignment opens up she is more than eager to jump into her role as Nikki O.
Once she arrives in Raleigh, she is ready to go to work and meet her coworkers. I loved the meeting between Wyatt and Andrea. She is immediately attracted to him, but he is a rude to her and basically accuses her of being too uptight to sell being a stripper. Little does he know that Andrea has plenty of experience. The audition the next day and Wyatt’s reaction is priceless.
I loved the undercover work, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen and how these two would navigate their growing attraction. I felt this part of the story was cut a little short and would have enjoyed more suspense. It may have just been my expectation, but I kept waiting for more to happen.
I did really enjoy Wyatt and Andrea’s relationship. It was super sweet and pretty steamy. I loved how Wyatt became everything for her and was willing to sacrifice for her happiness. After Andrea’s prior relationships I think she needed to see she was valuable and worth it.
I did really enjoy this story, but I wasn’t blown away. My only complaint is I kept waiting for more. Now that is probably just me, but once I saw this story about an undercover cop and FBI agent I kept thinking it would be suspenseful. I think without that expectation I would have enjoyed this story more. I do recommend it if you are looking for a sweet story.

As always expect lot of sizzling hot sex as only Sawyer can write, funny banter and sweet moments and it was great catching up with the rest of the Last Call gang. I loved Wyatt and Andrea they are both tough, smart, sexy and loyal. It was destiny.
I didn't know it was possible but yes it happened! I've fallen in love with yet another "Last Call" guy! After Gavin I thought I had my fill but I was so wrong!
I have to admit a week before reading this, I had to ask a friend to refresh my memory on Wyatt
I wasn't really thrilled about a cop story, I don't usually read those. And once again how I was wrong!
Wyatt is Hunter's best friend and a cop. He saw all these friends fallen in love one by one and even if he envies them a little, he knows that with his job, it's rather difficult to maintain a serious relation. Moreover he has to go undercover for an indefinite period so things are good as they are.
I found the first part of the book darker than usual. We are immersed in a totally different universe than in Sawyer Bennett's previous books and I loved every minute of it ! As I love my read to be dark I was thrilled! Wyatt is being called Charles "Razor" Hawkins aka Raze and he need to get the trust of a strip tease club boss Simon Keyes who is suspected to be a part of a sex slave traffic. After a few months, he finally see an opening and he is in Simon's circle of trust. The ending is close but for that he need someone else with him
Andrea is an FBI agent and is looking to move forward with her career. She has recently been dumped by her fiancé because of it. Far from falling down, she quickly dive into her new mission: being a stripper. Fortunately for her, she has a few years of practice and her "casting" goes really well ... even a slightly too well.
Wyatt is immediately attracted to this young woman, not only for her body by also her strength , her determination to achieve their job. Both of them will be pushed beyond their limits and feel guilty about what they had to do for the mission to be a success.
" I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you, okay "
I don't want to give to many details about what happen there, all you need to know is that I was completely absorbed by Sawyer Benett's writing. I didn't know she had in her the ability to write dark scenes that can put you in a uncomfortable way but still be magnificent! The permanent conflict that Wyatt feels is tangible in each page. The attraction between them defies everything I already read in her books. The real challenge will be after the mission. Wyatt and Andrea doesn't live near each other, nor work in the same circle and so there's nothing keeping them together. And yet, they will find each other... but for how long?
" What we have is stronger than most people starting out, because we survived a dangerous situation together... helped each other along the way. We had to count on each other... we had to trust. All important foundations for any relationship "
As all "Last Call" guy, Wyatt is an alpha who likes to control. Yet I found in him someone with a soft side.. He is attentive, understand, charming, engaging. I loved his bright side willing to sacrifice himself for the one he loves. Andrea is a splendid heroine She doesn't let herself go even with her recent break up. She is not scared to do what she wants. She often rush headlong but she succed perfectly!
If you haven't given this series a shot or if you've never read a book from this author before, hurry up! Each book is different, enthralling. You want to read the book as slowly as possible and at the same time you want to devour it. Sawyer Bennett has this ability to carry away in her world, her universe! The various stories take us in a changing context every time and we don't know what to expect.
This book was such a pleasant surprise. It has Ms. Bennett's usual fast paced romance, and while it's been a hit or miss for me in the past I'm happy to say it worked for me in this book!
The hero is someone who's been mentioned in the previous books and while I always liked him, I honestly didn't give him much thought. But when I read the synopsis for this book and saw that cover...well he definitely got my full attention then. Wyatt is a cop; he loves his job and his friends but he's ready to settle down and find "the one". Unfortunatley for him, he doesn't really have time for that at the moment but as we all know, love waits for no one.
Andrea was such a strong and wonderful heroine! I really enjoyed reading in her POV and I love how despite her troubled past, she didn't let it stop her from achieving her dreams. I'll admit I was a little worried that she was so fresh out of a relationship when she meets Wyatt and I didn't want him to be a rebound for her, but you can feel the chemistry between the two almost instantly. It's unlike anything either have ever felt.
I can't say that the pacing is any different from the other books. Things do go down pretty quickly but for some reason it worked for me in this book. Not so much in the end, but I loved the first half and I loved the gradual build up of their relationship. Like the previous books though, I wish these books were longer. I want to see more of the couple together before seeing them be so serious. The realist in me just needs it. I'm always digging these books until around the 75% mark when the "i love yous" and "lets be together forever" feelings come and I'm just like "it's only been like 2 months, whats the rush?!". But I don't mean that to scare you away. I think many will really enjoy this book.
I was nervous I wouldn’t like this book but I was hooked in pretty early. I love books with undercover/FBI themes and this one was no exception. This book was so good! I thoroughly enjoyed it and is probably my favorite of the series, second to Brody’s story. Overall, I think fans of this author will really enjoy this book and if you haven't read this series yet I really think you should!

3.5 stars★★★☆!!
With A Twist sure was a twist, or more like a change up, in the Last Call series!
It had a different feel to it, as more stakes were put into the plot and characters-- aside from the romance aspect.
Wyatt and Andrea have EVERYTHING to lose. With a dangerous undercover mission that could possibly cost or skyrocket their careers, there is a fragile line between life and death for this dynamic duo. It was a very interesting balance and combination to see how both characters juggle their jobs, personal interests, and their budding love for one another.
Author Sawyer Bennett adds a nice “twist” to this latest installment as not only hearts are on the line, but so are many things that could ultimately make or break both protagonists.
With A Twist was definitely a refreshing fourth sequel for all Last Call'er fans! I hope Casey will get her own story as well in the future when she decides to settle down!!
“Oh my,” were the first two words out of my mouth when I finished this book. Sawyer Bennett may have written the perfect contemporary romance for me featuring an ultimate book boyfriend. I am absolutely floored at how much this book impacted me.
I came to this book in a reading funk. I had started three books and wasn’t satisfied with any of them. The cover picture of Wyatt beckoned me. I usually save my Sawyer Bennett books for times when I can savor them, but despite my crazy schedule, I decided to start this book. Utterly satisfied, it settled my restlessness.
One of the things I like best is that this is not a story about two broken people. Wyatt and Andrea are two relatively normal people with crazy jobs that put them in a desperate and scary situation that allowed them to fall in love. Yes, it is about destiny.
Why I love Wyatt: He is the perfect blend of hard and soft. He has hard edges and is soft in the heart. He is confident, but not arrogant. There is also something very attractive about a man who is skilled and competent in his work. As an undercover officer, he presents the perfect amount of sleaze. And yet, he has, as Andrea claims, an easy charm that is magnetic.
Why is Andrea is perfect for Wyatt and why I love her: I love her confidence. She makes no apologies for how she was able to support herself through college and law school. She is courageous to come face to face with a sex-trafficker and shut him down. She is smart. She is a woman who knows her own mind, is willing to risk the first move, and is also willing to compromise. Like Wyatt, she is the perfect blend of hard and soft.
There were moments when my heart was pounding like crazy because their chemistry was so fierce. These are balanced with beautifully tender sections. During the course of their growing relationship, the author gives Wyatt such keen insights into Andrea. I’ve come to expect these emotional “nuggets” from Sawyer Bennett. Her characters have the ability to speak to me authentically.
IN A NUTSHELL: I know I must have said this before, but now I’m being DEFINITIVE. With a Twist is my favorite Sawyer Bennett book and Wyatt is MINE.
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
I absolutely loved Brody & Alyssa in Make It a Double and thought it was a fluke that I loved them so much because Sawyer Bennett's books are usually just so-so for me. But Wyatt & Andrea have definitely joined the ranks of my favorite Last Call couples!
I'll be honest, I wasn't really feeling the first half the book. The whole sex slave ring takedown thing kinda bored me and I was just waiting for it to be over. After that section finished, it was like a totally different book. No more after the bad guy talk, it's just Wyatt and Andrea and their growing relationship, which I loved watching grow!
I'm so happy Wyatt wasn't a man-whore and Andrea wasn't a blushing virgin! I didn't have to read about his "conquests" every other page!
So, Wyatt and Andrea go their separate ways after the job is done but they both can't stop thinking about each other and I loved that Andrea was ballsy enough to fly out to Wyatt to explore their attraction more instead of ignoring it.
One thing I've noticed about this author is that she usually doesn't take the route you would expect her to. I was totally expecting Andrea to hide from Wyatt that her ex-fiancé is trying to contact her through Facebook but she told him straight up before he found out on his own. I found that utterly refreshing because I was expecting some drama about it later on, but no.
I also liked that they initially agreed to be together for the weekend Andrea took off but they both realized that a couple days is just not enough and shifted their little fling into a relationship naturally.
Another thing I found refreshing was that there was no big break up at the end. And I was so expecting Lance from the club to magically pop in the end and kidnap Andrea or something! SO glad that didn't happen. The ending wasn't super climatic but it was perfect for Wyatt and Andrea <3
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….I need to move to a beach in North Carolina!! Sawyer, babe….you have made me fall in love with yet another Last Call couple!
Wyatt and Andrea meet under unusual circumstances. They will be working together and protecting one another on their job assignment. It was clear from the beginning that it was going to be so much more than just a job…
The first half of this story is a little darker than we are used to seeing in one of Sawyer Bennett’s books. It was deep and it had me on the edge of my seat with worry. She makes you instantly love these characters. All I wanted to do was protect them. Then we have the sexual tension…HOLY freaking hell. Two scenes in particular will leave you panting and wanting more!
I open my mouth to say…to say…what? I have no clue. What do I say to something that was taboo, erotic, fulfilling, dirty, and absolutely mind blowing?
And then there’s the “so much more” that I mentioned before. It’s not just about the sex, it’s about the sex and the emotions and the learning about each other…Wyatt and Andrea were like two pieces of a puzzle to me, they just fit….it made sense.
It’s the hottest, longest, most desperate kiss I’ve ever had in my life.
I wanted to be Andrea and find my Wyatt. She is this strong kick ass law enforcement chick who finds herself when she meets Wyatt.
I saw into your soul in that moment. And I knew…I knew that you were something different…something special in my life.
What could be more perfect than that? Read With a Twist to see how it all unravels and join them in their journey to each other and what it takes for them to get there.
Title: With a Twist (Last Call #4) Author: Sawyer Bennet Rating: 2.5 stars POV: Dual HEA: Heat/Steam 3/5 Cliffhanger: . No. Intolerable Heroine .No. Über Douchebagery .No. Taboo Subject Matter .yes sex trafficking. Cheating or sex outside MC's: Love Triangle
Sorry but this is the second book I've read by this author that has the heroine chasing or pursuing the hero. I was ready to DNF @54% when she goes to see him because it was that pathetic.
I felt like after how he left things he should have gone and pursued her. Especially what with the book opening with all his thoughts of wanting to find love and that BS. It was lame and pathetic and not romantic at all. She looked like a loser who couldn't take no for an answer. I would have probably loved this book because the plot was quite interesting but I hated it the moment she goes to him first. Mind you he doesn't do anything mean or hurtful when they separate after their assignment. He is thinking about her just as much as she's thinking about him. I just wanted him to go after her and see if there was something there. That's just what I prefer in a romance and I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't mind this book at all.
To top it all off it's the heroine who uproots her life and gives up her life long childhood dream job to be with the hero. Although the hero does offer to do the same I felt a bit offended by the fact that a woman would be more inclined to give up her dreams and aspirations just to be with a man. Maybe I'm getting too into it and overreacting but that's just how I felt.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
If you’re not aware of Sawyer Bennett books, they are highly addictive, sexy, delicious and incredibly warm. The characters are all very human, real, with lots of the same issues and problems we all face in day-to-day life. With a Twist fits the bill perfectly and I literally read this in one sitting. Once again, we have a HAWT hero in the name of Wyatt, who is working undercover to try and bring down a sex slave ring. Hello, hot Alpha law enforcement man! He is paired with FBI agent Andrea, who holds a law degree but who also worked as an exotic dancer in order to pay her way through school.
Of course, sparks fly, but in the sexiest, sweetest way, and without a ton of angst. Wyatt is uber-protective of Andrea, gorgeous, and just an all-round super guy. And Andrea…well, one of my favorite things about Ms. Bennett is that she writes very strong, educated, smart heroines. Andrea is no different.
These two are pure magic together. The story is fast-paced, sexy and very, sweet. Wyatt and Andrea are incredibly passionate and I loved them together. If you are looking for a hot and sexy, but ultimately very loving, warm and romantic story, then With a Twist is for you! Happy reading!
(ARC provided by the author in return for an honest review.)
Now that I've read the rest of the series as well, I can with 100% certainty say it's the best of them all and still one of my favorite books ever.

I've reread the book again, because it remained in such good memory and the best thing is, I wasn't underwhelmed. It's always a risk with rereading books that you were in love with, that maybe the second time around it won't be so magical and wonderful as you remember it. But I gotta tell you, this one is not like that and I'm immensely happy. Wyatt is what my dream man looks like. Like, I genuinely strive to find myself a man like Wyatt. And I'm tempted to hate Andrea because she gets to have her Wyatt, but she's also so cool and awesome and I just can't. BOOM FAVORITES SHELF ____________________________

4.5 I love Ms. Bennett Stars! Full review to be posted for blog tour!!
Enjoyed every minute of it. I couldn’t put down. There’s an element of suspense, sexy, swoon-worthy moments in this tale. The chemistry between these two MCs was scorching which added even more to love with this story. The writing was good and the pace was spot on. The only thing I would have liked a little more of the undercover work but other than that everything was great. This one can be read stand alone. Looking forward to read Casy’s story. Keep them coming Mrs. B.
A fast paced suspenseful romance filled with intrigue and raw passion!
REVIEW: The story: I must admit this story surprised me, as the first half is very different to the rest of this series. While the first three books are relatively light and breezy romances this one is much grittier and had some real bite to the story.
Local cop, Wyatt, has been sent undercover to infiltrate a sex slave ring, that is believed to be kidnapping dancers from their strip club and selling them to wealthy customers. FBI agent, Andrea joins the investigations, posing as a vulnerable stripper, ripe for kidnapping. As Wyatt and Andrea work together to set the trap and catch the criminals, their strictly professional relationship gets complicated when the sexual attraction between them grows. Crossing that line may not only risk the investigation, but also their lives. But how long can these two deny their connection…and more importantly can it survive away from the intense undercover operation?
The characters: When Wyatt and Andrea first meet, he's a little gruff and standoffish, not hiding his uncertainty that Andrea may not be able to handle the job. But it soon becomes clear that he's rough exterior is no more than an undercover persona he's created. He's also very protective of Andrea, and tries to shield her from as much of the heinous actively going on in the nightclub. Wyatt is surprisingly sweet and unlike many male NA characters, he's actually looking to find love and settle down.
Andrea is a strong and passionate heroine. She's not afraid of hard work and shows sheer determination to catch the criminals she's investigating. I also loved that when it came down to it, Andrea showed she had the lady balls to take charge and make the first move. She's a very empowering character.
We also get to see the rest of the Last Call cast of characters is the second half of the book which was excellent! Sawyer's always fabulous at creating a family characters that you just wish you were a part of.
The romance: The attraction between these two was obvious from the beginning. But working undercover in a strip club makes things difficult. Despite feeling attracted to Wyatt, Andrea is convinced Wyatt's interest is purely professional. But after being forced into a compromising (and oh so hot!) situation, they struggle to deny the attraction. The romance between these two is very seductive, but also has a few very sweet moments too.
The Writing: Sawyer has a real knack for creating unique and interesting stories and this one is no exception! The first half of the books was very fast paced with lost of suspense and intrigue, and as the story progresses, their is a nice balance of light romance that has been excellent throughout the whole series.
FINAL WORD: With a Twist is a fast paced suspenseful romance filled with intrigue and raw passion! Looking forward to the next book in the series for Casey's story.
CONTENT: Sexuality: strong / several descriptive sex scenes, references to sex slaves and assault Violence: medium / kidnapping, gun violence and murder Language: medium-strong / frequent f words Drugs & alcohol: medium / drug use
The fourth book in the Last Call Series brings us Wyatt’s story. Remember him? The friendly neighborhood cop. Wyatt is leaving the comfort of his quiet town for an undercover sting operation to hopefully put an end to a sex slave ring. Working his way through the ranks at the sleazy strip club and gaining the trust of the owner seems to be the easy part. But when they need to incorporate a female into the picture to speed things along, Wyatt is not prepared for Andrea and his reaction to her.
Andrea has had one goal her whole life. Follow in her father’s footsteps. She’s sacrificed everything for her job, even her relationships. She never expected the fact that she made her way through college as s stripper to help her with her experience as an FBI agent. As she shifts into the role of Nikki O; she can’t help but draw the attention of “Raze” aka Wyatt.
I really enjoyed the dynamic of these two throughout the story. Wyatt was pretty straightforward from the start. He was not looking for anymore endless one night stands, he was a man that was ready to settle down. A man that wanted what all his friends seem to have found. I loved the fact that while undercover you just felt how uncomfortable he was with what was around him.
Andrea was slightly damaged, not so much that she was weakened by her inabilities to accept the way she was feeling. I loved that she took what she wanted. It’s a nice change to see the female take the lead a bit and not rely solely on the guy sweeping her off her feet.
The aspect of the undercover job sort of gave this story a different feel than the prior ones in the series as well and although Wyatt was definitely swoon-worthy, I think the storyline overshadowed some of the aspects of the romance side of things. Although not my favorite in this series, a solid addition. Wyatt and Andrea had sparks that flew off the pages and I could have stayed locked away in his beach front home for days on end.
Whenever I read a book by Sawyer Bennett I always leave feeling happy and fulfilled. Her stories keep me up late into the night unable to tear myself away. With A Twist wasn’t any different, and I was positive she wouldn’t let me down, just the opposite. Her newest book was filled with twists(no pun intended), turns, and a genuine love story.
We’ve met Wyatt in some of the other books in the Last Call Series. He is a police officer and has to go undercover in a seedy establishment. Andrea is an FBI agent who is ready to get through her next assignment, so she can move on to what she really wants to do and get the promotion of her dreams. She goes undercover as a stripper in a club that has been targeting its employees for human trafficking. It is the utmost importance that neither Wyatt nor Andrea makes any mistakes. Lives are on the line and so much more. Wyatt and Andrea are thrown together in a very intense situation and grow close from afar. They both must keep their true feelings and thoughts bottled up. They work together professionally, but secretly long to be close. Tough decisions will need to be made between these two before their true identities are compromised.
Talk about intense situations and needing to keep your cool. These two proved to be smart, dedicated, and motivated, especially under dire circumstances. Andrea was a strong and independent woman, the perfect woman whom Wyatt needs in his life. He begins to understand why his friends have settled down. When you meet the one, and it feels right, just go with it. Their chemistry was off the charts, but I wouldn’t expect anything but explosive from Sawyer.
If you haven’t read any of the other books in the series no worries because each of the books can be read as a stand alone. A for warning you won’t be able to stop at just one. This author’s writing is more than addicting. Wyatt and Andrea’s story was a perfect addition to the Last Call Series. As usual, I can’t wait for more.
Wyatt. Not one of the main characters we've gotten to know all that well from previous books in this series, but I loved his story none the less. As a cop he'll do anything to see the bad guys brought down, so when the opportuinity comes in to go undercover he takes it. Months later and another opperative brought in and things get complicated with their attraction to each other.
Andrea wants a job in Quantico, but with her experience lacking it doesn't look like she'll be getting it anytime soon. With the opportuinity to go under cover it could bring her enough experience to finally land the job. Working at a strip club though it not the most glamorious but she'll do whatever it takes.
Time goes by and loyalities are tested. Will the get their guy or will their attraction ruin all the hard work they've put in?
Wyatt is a truely good guy, he does what he needs to do for work, but doesn't let it degrade his morality. There wasn't a single thing about him I didn't like.
Andrea does what it takes to get where she wants to go. She is good at her job and won't let what she had to do to get there bring her down. She makes the tough choices most people wouldn't and does what's right.
Their story is sweet and scary with times where you wonder what will happen next, but I loved see it all play out.
Title: With A Twist Author: Sawyer Bennett Series: Yes Release Date: 2/6/15 Rating: 4.00 – 4.50 stars Cliffhanger: no Spoiler-free review
Finally…I read my first Sawyer Bennett book. What was I waiting for?
In With A Twist, we meet Andrea, an undercover FBI agent who stripped her way through school. She has dreams of being chosen for an elite department within the FBI. Wyatt (a character from other books in this series) is a hot cop who goes deep under cover leaving his tight knit group of friends behind. Wyatt and Andrea end up working undercover at a strip club. Things heat up on and off of the job as the two try and bust up a sex slave ring.
I devoured this fast-paced, sexy new book! The likeable characters and slightly steamy romance plot made this book a total page turner. No cliffhanger!

Ooh. A little bit of a thriller here with Police officer Wyatt Banks going undercover to bring down a sex slave ring. Whilst undercover he partners up with FBI agent Andrea Somerville, who has a. Few tricks up her sleeve to assist Wyatt. During their undercover assignment a few lines are crossed and when the assignment ends, not only do they have no clue how each of them feel, they are both at opposite ends of the country. It only takes one of them to man up and make the first move, who will it be? Another thoroughly enjoyable dual POV Last Call book with all my favourite characters in. So great to catch up with everyone, and, I'm so looking forward to reading Casey's story
When I pick up a Sawyer Bennett book I know I am going to get the full package - bows and all but this was a spectacular package, very hot, different and going in direction that we haven't read before.
One of the best stories I have read in this series.
Sawyer Bennett never disappoints. She's become a tried and true go to author when I need a book that will pull at my heart, put a smile on my face and give me a little steam.
I wish the men that Sawyer Bennett writes would magically come to life. If they did, I feel like I'd be making a serious play for Wyatt Banks. Okay, probably for all of them, but damn, Wyatt is strong, loyal, smart and, from all accounts, hot-as-hell...
It doesn't matter that Wyatt Banks is ready to settle down; his job doesn't really leave him the time or the safety to find and keep a girl. But there's something about Andrea Somerville, the FBI agent assigned to work with him on his latest undercover op.
When they're thrown together, headlong into danger, the sparks between them begin to fly. Will their jobs bring them together or keep them apart?
With a Twist was fan-freaking-tastic! It was the perfect balance of mystery and suspense, with all of Ms. Bennett's signature sexy-and-playfulness.
Wyatt Banks.... Sigh. He's the perfect follow-up to Sugar on the Edge's as*hole lead, Gavin Cooke. He's sweet but not (forgive me) a pu*sy. The cop-factor cranks the hotness factor up several notches because HANDCUFFS (not that they necessarily come into play here but a girl can dream, right?), and he's just a really good guy.
I loved his compassion. His desire. His protectiveness. His loyalty. His willingness to sacrifice for the one(s) he loves. And I LOVED him with Andrea. Oh man, their chemistry was out of this world. And the first time they, ahem, came together was... Excuse me while I go find a spare pair of knickers.
The chemistry doesn't just exist between Wyatt and Andrea, however. It's there with all the characters in the Last Call series. I loved the moments with all the friends together and, with the next book being the last (I believe, but I absolutely hope not...), I want to savor my time with this crew. Oh, and definitely make a play for Wyatt.
With a Twist is the fourth book in the Last Call series. It can be read standalone. No cliffhanger. ~ Beth, 5 stars

Wow, this book is the other side of the dark romances you read about the owner of a sleazy strip club. This is about an undercover officer and an undercover FBI agent who are working to take down the ring that is selling women. BUT it is also a love story, and about going for your dreams, and destiny.
Andrea is an FBI agent who paid her way through college and law school by stripping. Her ex-fiancé just broke off their engagement.
Wyatt, a cop, takes an undercover assignment to help take down a ring of sleaze balls selling girls out of a strip club.
So, that about sums up what I can say without giving anything away.
These two don’t seem like they would be good together at first. 1. They work together. 2. He makes a bad first impression. 3. He seems to pay her little mind.
When things finally happen…. Boom!! You can just about hear the sexual chemistry explode between the two. Add in a dash of self-doubt, a pinch of keeping too much to themselves, a teaspoon of lust, and mix well. Be careful not to shake, or the contents may cause heavy petting, with bouts of panting, and the possibility of drooling.
I loved this book. Sawyer continues to amaze me with this series. The group of friends are all so different, yet work so well together. I hope to be able to read the rest of her books very soon! ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

WOW! With a Twist, the fourth book in the Last Call series, definitely had a twist. I think this one might have been my favorite so far! I couldn’t put it down and only did so when my kindle battery died.
I LOVED the story line of this one. It had a different feel then the other three. It was more action packed and suspenseful. Wyatt and Andrea meet while working an undercover investigation trying to break up a sex slave ring. Talk about a weird way to meet. However their connection seemed to be there from the start.
I loved Wyatt! He is such an honest, good man and a hot cop as well. Andrea is a strong, passionate FBI agent with a sad past.
The chemistry between Wyatt & Andrea was scorching!
“I wanted to take him in my mouth. I wanted to make him come. I wanted to have a personal connection with him.”
Make sure you have some spare panties handy.
“Yeah…want you on my face so I can show you that you’re mine. Then I want you straddling my aching cock. I want you to ride me…show me that I’m yours.”
I adored watching them fall in love and struggle with the long distance thing. Both were willing to give up everything to be with one another, a sign of true love. They were destined to be together.
“You and I are supposed to be,” I murmur. It’s destiny.
And sometimes fate has a way of making it work.
This story had it all! It was sexy, suspenseful, emotional, and funny! And I enjoyed seeing the rest of the gang from the Outer Banks. I can’t wait to read Casey’s story next! ~ Tiffany, 4.5 stars
WOW…..just Wow!!!! This book was AMAZING!!! Definitely the best one yet in this series. Sawyer Bennett outdid herself with this book. I LOVED everything about it. I loved the storyline, the characters, the writing, the ending…..just everything.
With A Twist is book 4 in Sawyer Bennett's Last Call Series. Even though we have some characters that carryover from the other books, this book can be read as a standalone. Sawyer did a fabulous job connecting the dots as to how all the characters are connected, just in case you haven't read the previous books. I have to say, I thought this book was so different from the others in series, but that is because Sawyer wrote about a topic that is dark, gritty and raw. Something that isn't in the other books. This book had everything you could ask for in a 5 Star read. There was action, suspense, humor, love, romance, really HOT sex scenes, and AMAZING characters!!!
This book is Wyatt's Story. Wyatt is Hunter's (Book 1) best friend, but is also close friends to all of the other characters from the previous books. He is a police officer for Nags Head and in this book is asked to go under cover to bring down a sex slave operation. He happily agrees. This is when Andrea is introduced into the story. She works for the FBI and is also asked to help bring down this operation. They need her because she is a female and has stripping experience from her college days. Both Wyatt and Andrea are given new identities and have to infiltrate the underground operation that is being run through a strip club. What happens after they are in is where this story had me on the edge of my seat. I am not going to expand because I don't want to give anything away. To me this was like reading 2 books in 1. The first 50% is the action part of the story and the last 50% is the sweet love story between Andrea and Wyatt, but the whole book is impossible to put down. I LOVED both Andrea and Wyatt's characters. They were strong, fierce, loyal, loving, and just overall great characters.
This book is definitely a MUST READ book, even if you don't want to or haven't read the other books in this series. If you are looking for a book that has action, suspense, love, romance, sex, and strong characters, then this is the book to read!!! I also loved that we got to keep up with the other characters and what has been happening in their lives.
I have become a huge fan of Sawyer Bennett - I picked up one of the Off Sides books and I was hooked - devouring all of her others in subsequent weeks. The Last Call Series further feeding my frenzy. Book 4 brings us Wyatts story. SEXY HOT Cop, reserved, longs for that special someone - he sees all his good friends happily in love and he wants that. But with his job and new assignment, he is a little disheartened it might not be in the cards for him. Enter FBI Agent Andrea Somerville. Focused ambitious, fresh off a broken engagement because she refused to put her dreams of being in a specialized unit aside to appease an insecure fiancée. They must both go undercover to infiltrate a sex slave ring. Their first meeting is a bit contentious but the underlying tension and chemistry is palpable. These two are hot for each other and try to keep it as professional as possible - lines are blurred and after the mission is over, find hard to let the other go. I was very touched by Wyatt, he deeply wanted to find his soulmate and when he realized that Andrea was the one - WOW, I felt it in my toes!!! Fab read again, I am a huge fan and am looking forward to the next book!!!
I’m making it my mission to finish series that I’ve ignored over the last couple of years. I forgot how I enjoyed the other 3 books in this series. Wyatt and Andrea are the bomb, hello chemistry. I’m moving on to Casey, I forgot she’s the one I’ve been waiting to read about.
