It Burrows

Rate this book
In the silence of space, the infection isn’t waiting—it’s already inside.

In the silent corridors of deep space, something ancient awakens beneath the skin.
When field engineer Rivers returns from a desolate exoplanet with his partner, Flores, what begins as a minor wound festers into a horrifying infection. The parasite spreads through flesh and circuitry alike, twisting the crew of a vast mining station into violent hosts driven by a single alien instinct—to survive. As containment fails and the cold metal decks run slick with contagion, Rivers and a handful of survivors fight not only the creatures outside their doors, but the creeping certainty that the infection is already inside them.
In the flickering light of failing systems, It Burrows unfolds as a chilling meditation on humanity, control, and the fragility of the mind when the body is no longer its own. Fans of The Thing, Annihilation, and Event Horizon will be drawn into a story where survival and surrender become indistinguishable, and the line between man and monster dissolves in the dark.

Fast paced body horror in space

It Buddies is a fast paced horror novel about a parasitic outbreak set on a remote space station. The action starts fast and doesn't let up until the final paragraphs. The writing is very vivid, especially when it involves gore or parasitic messes. The rest of the writing is good as well, with good characters, an interesting environment and Dialogue. Overall, 4/5 stars. Highly recommended for fans of body horror and sci-fi/horror thrillers!
