This is Book Seven, the final book in the Lilith Mercury, Werewolf Hunter Series.
It's time for Lilith to make peace with the monsters under her bed. Or is that IN her bed?
As rumors circulate about conspiracies running as deep as the Vampire Council, Lilith tries to find some peace in her personal life. Is that really possible for her? After all this time, will she finally be rewarded with the love of the men she craves?
Warning: This book contains graphic violence, language, and sex with multiple wicked hot partners, including some BDSM elements. If any of those things offend you, turn back now.
I write what I enjoy in the hopes that others will enjoy it as well. I've always been drawn to the macabre. Vampires, werewolves, you name it.
I've never written about the paranormal because it's popular. I do it because that's what I'm interested in. If the vampire fad ever passes, I'll still be sitting here in my Dracula cape, getting my fang on.
Sad to see an end but glad it was good. There is potential for spin offs, and I know there has been at least one. I confess that when I got into the 80+% finished range with a lot of unresolved issues that I was worried that it was going to be an unsatisfactory mess of crammed together pieces. But it came together beautifully. Lots of feelings expressed throughout, but they had a lot of issues to work out.
So sad to be over, but so happy I stumbled upon this series. What a wonderful ride it was to lose myself in the world of Lilith. An amazing journey. I was so wrapped up in this series I completely forgot the outside world. I am going to read more by this author now. Don't know if she can top this series, but I would not be surprised if she did. Very talented and an awesome author. Thank you for all you're hard work. You are amazingly gifted..
I am so sad that the series is finished. I wanted it to keep going. Lilith could have had a baby or many other adventures such as travel etc. I enjoyed the stories so much and have recommended it. Am about to start another of your books. Thank you for many enjoyable hours. KCE
If real life was only as wonderful as the imagations in Tracey Kitts mind all of our dreams would be wishes fulfilled. Thank you for your wonderful imagination to have started so young and able to write such exciting dreams.
I hate that there aren't more books coming about Lilith, but I look forward to checking out more of Tracey H. Kitts' books. This book did Not disappoint. It was great.
"After Dark" received 4 stars from my star-checklist.
The novel gained *STARS* for these items:
* gained for: "The book caught my interest in first five pages."
* gained for: "I thought about the book when I was forced to set it down and re-enter society."
* gained for: "There were no info dumps, poor writing, or copy edit mistakes that jerked me out of the story." (I noticed quite a few copy edit errors in this one, but they never pulled me out of the story. I was just too anxious to find out what happens.)
* gained for: "I was sad when the book ended. I want more!"
The novel failed to gain stars for these items:
NO STAR gained for: "That's it. I'm hooked on this author I will automatically buy anything s/he writes." (This was a great series and despite my earlier reservations with previous books, I couldn't be more happier with the ending. Kitts is a great magical weaver of stories and I can't wait to see what else she's done. If her other series are anything like the LMWH ones, I will soon be one hundred percent hooked.)
This is a bitter sweet book for me. I have loved this series since I first stumbled across it a few years ago. I hate that it is over, but am so happy Lillith got the HEA she deserved. It was so much more than I was expecting. The action and drama revolving around Lillith, and everyone between H.A.T.E. and the vampires is great. There were some surprises I never would have anticipated. The anticipation and tension surrounding Lillith, Marco, Vlad, and Bade is so real you can feel it. I really loved this book, and can't wait to read the entire series again in its entirety.
Excellent ending for Liliths story. I couldn't be happier about how things turned out. Having her finally fit in with the pack after not having belonged with humans or wolf because she wasn't quite either brought me so much joy. This series had me laughing so hard I cried at times. I absolutely love Bade. Something about him touches my heart, I just want to hold him tight. Marco and Dracula are wonderful don't get me wrong. Marco is what I dream a protector should be like. Dracula is just pure sin! A awesome and heart pounding read. Thank you Tracey, you are truly an amazing author!
I thought that as the last book of the series, was an excellent read. I loved it. I would like to see a spin off for johnny to see him find someone but that's up to the author. I like that Kat and Charles worked everything out and how Alfred and lililth are friends again :)
Really, no words can express how much I loved reading the Lilith Mercury series. I read the books so fast that I was sad to see her storyline end. The books were loving, engaging, filled with action, and adventure. Also, very sexy. I was enthralled. I can't wait to read more books by Tracey H. Kitts
This is a fast pace series that I have loved reading. Not to mention that it's pretty steaming also. Loved all the characters yummy wolves and vampires alike. Easy reading and hard to put down. Enjoy...
