Aurelia, now as Queen, is forced to face the unforeseen consequences left behind by the dragon gates. Curses begin to unravel, creatures escape the Forbidden Forest, Scalebornes turn to humans, and the ancient Lunarkeepers—who would see themselves freed at any cost—begin to infiltrate the human lands.

Aurelia and her friends are guided by Lyrux, the Scalekeeper sister of Norilus, who helps them seek the long-forgotten thirteenth dragon breed through trials in the Scalekeeper’s world. While they bargain to make it through the trials, Damian is confronted with his destiny. With a choice now laid at his feet, he has to decide between the future he has always expected or the one that he now desperately needs.

With the Lunarkeeper’s ancient mind-bending abilities doing everything to stop Aurelia from reinstating the curses, she risks everything she loves—including her Kingdom and Scalekind—to obtain the cursed relic and to keep the dragon safe before the poison of illusion blinds them all.

ARC REVIEW: “Together we fly, together we fall.” While Scalebound wrapped up nicely, I really loved seeing the after effects of Aurelia running the kingdom and uniting the people. I loved that she and Damian had real struggles with their relationship. I loved the trials and dragon lore we got in this book. Fans of Onyx Storm, Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea, and Twin Crowns would love this book! Plus it has dragons, how could you hate dragons?!

Quotes:
“Without her, my heart burned, but not in the way that I liked.” -Damian
“I loved her. So much so that I wasn’t willing to take a chance on failing her and her kingdom.” -Damian
“You think I would let this pretty thing out of my grasp?” -Damian
“Thank you for giving me the chance to love again.” -Damian

Great conclusion to this fast-paced duology! What a fun story to get lost in. Who doesn’t love a book with a Rapunzel-esque FMC, dragons, curses, magic and very well-told closed door romance. Would recommend to readers of all ages!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and this is my review of Stellarbound.

So… This author frustrates me.
She has so much potential as a writer, it shows but it is like she doesn’t exploit it enough. Throughout the book, I felt like she was so impatient at the idea of delivering Stellarbound for the readers she rushed through the plots. I also know she had a really tough time finishing the book so it might be why

The plot:
Stellarbound takes place a year after the events of Scalebound. Aurelia is now a Queen and tries to consolidate the peace between all the Kingdoms after defeating the Deathlies and erasing the dragon's curses.
However, when a dragon went rogue, chaos was unleashed forcing Aurelia to find a way to reinstate the curses to save the Kingdoms and her life. In doing so, she must come to term with what she has previously done and find where the true enemy lies…

The length:
43 chapters for 342 pages

The pacing:
So so much better than Scalebound ! Well-balanced, a rythm that will keep hook

Overall:
Regarding the editing, there is a lot of editing issues : for example, I found a dialogue between several characters that look like this -
“ Line of dialogue 1” he said
“ Line of dialogue 2 ” another said
“ Line of dialogue 3” she said
And it goes for the entire dialogue… Also, there is always shimmering, shivering, bubbling and too much tendrils… For the rest, it was fine and an enjoyeable read

Considering the events of the book, like I said, not developed enough.
She started something promising with Damian refusing to become King but…. Yeah. Not enough exploration. An example ? He was a year sober and at some point, drunk again without consequence.
At some point, four deadly trials fell upon our characters. There are not deadly at all, no major or critical injury and the challenge doesn’t make sense…

Each trial ? 5-6 pages only…

I could argue on other plots point but it would be to say it was not developed enough again.
While I can understand the one year jump from Stellarbound, it would have been nice to know more about what happened during this time
Logan is a good and promising author… She should take more time to write her books, she has a catching personality and a devoted fanbase that will be there no matter the time she takes to write.
I put 3 stars but it is really a 2.5 stars. However, this is an enjoyeable read regardless and for those who loves fantasy novels, you can be satisfied with it !

Lastly, this book is the prove that fantasy doesn't need smut to work !

Firstly, thank you Logan for giving me my first ARC read! I really enjoyed my read of Scalebound before this and was excited I got chosen as an ARC reader for Stellarbound.

Stellarbound was a great wrap up to the series! I think this second book found a great pacing, that will keep the attention of readers throughout, compared to the slower buildup of Scalebound.
We follow Aurelia as she has now become Queen over her kingdom and learns to navigate the more difficult challenges that come with this. It was exciting to see how the world developed after the events of the first book, and where our characters are now.
This one captures the close proximity even more and really will drive the Damien/Aurelia shippers crazy as they face a struggle to sacrifice personal needs or wants for the sake of the Kingdom and each other's happiness.
Lots more dragons and group dynamics then Scalebound, and you get to see the difference in two queens trying to fight for the security of their kingdoms. I loved the twists and turns in Stellarbound as it will keep you on your toes.

However, I'd just tell everyone that some parts of the conflicts in the story do flow pretty quickly if you enjoy more of a thriller vibe to challenges in a novel. The pacing was great in the book, but this part did not come as in depth or on my toes as I had expected it to based on build up before them. The only other con I'd bring up is similar to the previous: Just go in knowing you have lots of language in this world's setting that you will have to look to for translation either via kindle (easy clicks) or the translations in a physical copy. It doesn't take away from the experience but for those that struggle with that in fantasy novels, just a heads up :)

Ahhh!!! Stellarbound was an amazing ending to the Scalebound series. Definitely a 4.5-star read!

I was so fortunate and grateful to have Beta read this for Logan Piercey. I also read this as an ARC. loved every minute of it!

There are so many twists and turns in Stellarbound that you won’t see coming. I was mind-blown by how much action and adventure there was in this book. It was done so well!

I loved the tension between Damian and Aurelia in this book! I won’t get too much into it because of spoilers, but I loved every minute of it.

I loved all the characters, especially Tobias. He was just right in this book. Tobias is someone who you want fighting by your side.

What else to say about this book? I could say so much about this book, but I will share some of my favorite quotes.

“My Shadow Queen, the moon doesn’t break - it bends under your wielding command.” - Damian

“It’s not about power, Tybalt. Love wins every time.”
- Damian

“She was my Shadow Queen.” - Damian

“I am what they fear.” - Aurelia

Ahhh!!! I mean, come on now!

Logan, you did a phenomenal job with this book!

Stellarbound is a no-spice romance with all the swoony moments and epic fantasy that you want to read!

ARC Review!

Stellarbound is a great closing book to this duology and I can't help but want to learn more about the world, its characters and magics, and to see where the story may continue. But, knowing that that might not happen, I am still very pleased with the way this wrapped up. Getting to see Aurelia and Damian learn who they are not just as themselves but as a couple, and as people they never really saw themselves being was a great journey. They had their ups and downs, as all relationships do, but reading their story and feeling what they felt as they made difficult decisions that they thought were right, only to be led right back to each other was a great tromp through this fantasy world.

There were a few moments where I felt like events happened a bit too quickly and that I wished were fleshed out more, but those are nits and not anything to take away from the larger story at hand. I am very pleased with the way this story concluded and I hope that Logan continues to push herself to write even grander stories, because I'm sure she's got something great cooking and I hope she finds the time and motivation to get those ideas out there for the world to enjoy.

4.5 ⭐️ (Rounded Up)

Logan Piercey does it again! Talk about a book being “STELLAR”! My heart felt so many things while reading and that’s how I know this was an amazing book!

Thank you so much to Logan for allowing me to read an advanced copy of the book before its release. As a reminder, this review is voluntary and all ratings/opinions are my own.

The writing in this follow-up installment to Scalebound was fantastic! The high stakes, tension, yearning, and emotional damage were all there. I’m still trying to recover from the loss of a character and some plot twists she added in there.

If you want to know two of my favorite scenes from the book, here are vague descriptions of them:
1. Learning to swim but we shouldn’t be near each other
2. A little happily ever after moment

This book made me love Aurelia and Damian even more than I did in Scalebound. Their character growth was so thought out that I found myself relating to both of them many times. If you want a book with great characters who have even greater chemistry and banter, Stellarbound (and Scalebound because you should read it first if you haven’t) is for you!

Piercey has turned me into a reader who is gonna stick around and bother her, eating up everything she writes. I am so excited to see what’s next for her creative mind!

ARC READ
In Book 2 of this Duology, Aurelia as a Scaleborn is trying to unite the kingdoms as Queen between the Scaleborn and the humans. Unrest becomes evident in the kingdom as evil and chaos seems to be oozing all around the peace and unity she is trying to accomplish.
With threats to unseat her, Aurelia is confronted with seeking alliances with other kingdoms.
The Cursed War seems to be rising back with old threats being brought back. Aurelia and Damian face threats that they didn't realize they would face. Who are they supposed to trust? Certainly each other...right?
There was so much adventure and tension in this book! Trials, missions, and trying to un cover secrets.
The root of self worth was evident in book one and continues in this book as a wonderful theme of overcoming self doubt and being confident enough to fight for oneself and those they love.
This is a closed door romantasy and swoony to boot.

4.5 stars - I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have received an advanced copy of Stellarbound from the author! 🫶

Stellarbound is absolutely incredible and I loved this one so much! 🥹🖤 I did a buddy read of this one with one of my friends who is also on the ARC team for this and it was so much fun sharing all of our reactions from being shocked after some really crazy and unhinged plot twists to squealing and kicking our feet with excitement! 🫶

I love Aurelia so much and I thought it was truly so incredible with this one how she grows so much as a character. Don’t even get me started on the love triangle because I am obsessed! 🤭🔥 I of course was shipping one particular guy and I will not be sharing who because you need to read this and find out! 🤫 Add in dragons, trials, and amazing world building and it had me loving this! 🫶

If you love fantasy books then this is the one for you! 🫶

This was the perfect book 2 to wrap up the duology!! It's kind of wild to me that in book one I really didn't like Tobias, and LOVED Damian, and now I'm team Tobias! I'm shocked, but SWOON! I loved that she kept me guessing and constantly changing my opinion on the two MMC's. I also really enjoyed the edition of the lunarkeepers and how they are kind of alien like in my mind lol. The writing was beautiful, and I loved the storyline! I will be highly recommending this book/duology to all my friends! If you're a closed door lover, this is especially for you! If you are not, trust me you wont miss the spice because she gives you all the yearning, witty banter, and relationship devo!

Plus, have you guys SEEN those sprayed edges?! Prettiest book! I also must get the pastel edition in paperback to have the gold sprayed edges too!

⭐️ 50 Cents of a 40-Year-Old Mom 🌸 @LoganPiercey

If the first Scalebound book introduced me to the world…
The Stellarbound "ARC" made me feel it.

This second part of the Scalebound series by Logan Piercey didn’t just continue the story, it deepened everything I thought I knew.

Coming back into this world felt like returning to something familiar… but heavier, more emotional, and more real.

Walking alongside Aurelia again, I didn’t just see her story continue, I saw her change. The weight she carries now, the choices she faces, the quiet strength she holds onto even when things feel like they’re falling apart… that stayed with me.

This isn’t just growth, it’s transformation.
And honestly, that hit me.

Because life does that to us too… it stretches us, challenges us, and asks more of us than we think we can give. And yet, like Aurelia, we keep going.

The relationships feel deeper here too, more tension, more emotion, more at stake. The connections aren’t just part of the story anymore… they drive it. You feel every moment.

This book didn’t just take me away from my everyday life…
it made me pause and look at it differently.

Somewhere between the pages, I found strength, emotion, and a quiet reminder that even when things feel uncertain, we are still becoming.

And when I closed the book… I didn’t feel done.
I felt like I was carrying Aurelia’s journey with me.

If Book 1 pulled you in… this one will hold onto your heart.

My 50 cents:
This isn’t just a continuation… it’s where the story starts to live inside you.
This book releases in one Month get your copy today!!! dont miss out!

I thought book 2 was better was than the first but some story/plot points to me seem rushed still -felt like there shouldn't been more story behind the ancient dragon and the curses. Felt like the fight with the Lunar entities was quickly finished and also the trials towards end of book that are supposed to be deadly mostly felt ok to me.The romance and relationship between Damian and Aurelia has more going for them in this book and how they learned more about one another. But Damian constantly didn't respect Aurelias boundaries and then damian was sober for a year then randomly relapsed for one night 🤷🏻‍♀️ Overall the book was captivating and I was interested to see what would happen but I did feel like there could've been more added to certain parts in the book.
Thank you again to @ for the eARC and being able to read and post my honest review.

At first, I wasn’t sure why there was a second book in this series because the first one ended well enough, but as you get into more of the political side of what happens, it totally makes sense. I liked the different nuances in it. I liked the adventuring. I liked the alliances & compromising and the way things genuinely were trying to be worked out. It’s a very good example of countries and kingdoms trying to work together. There’s a lot that does happen in this book so you do have to read book one to be able to understand this one or at least understand the main character and the guy she loves versus the guy who’s loyal I am very happy that I was able to have the opportunity to read this duology. These books are packed with information so when you do read this, I’d say pace yourself cause there’s a lot of little things mentioned that are good to remember.

OMGGGG!! This was such an amazing read! The characters were absolutely amazing and Aurelia and Belle still being the baddie they are🤭 It was so fun to see more of Aurelia’s powers being developed in this book with all the different fights, the tension was so good! I was kicking my feet at so many points💜 Plot twists that totally caught me off guard was stunning! 4.5⭐️ read for me and I recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy books, dragons, strong FMC, morally grey MMC, enemies to lovers romance. Absolutely loved it!! 💜💜 Go read Scalebound if you haven’t and pre-order Stellarbound if you haven’t!! Link at Logan Piercey‘s Instagram bio💜💜 IG Handle: @logan.piercey

ARC READ: I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this book better than the first installment. The writing seemed more intentional and detailed allowing me to better picture the fantasy world and the storyline.
Good story and character development though I'll admit I rolled my eyes at the 8th time Aurelia said "I'm an engaged woman, Damien". Happy they finally worked it out. I also loved that Tobias and princess (Queen) Chanara end up together 😊
I also think that the curse dragon connected with Damien a bit too easily, I was expecting way more push back.

Thank you so much to the author, Logan Piercey, who gave me this book as an ARC. Stellarbound, the sequel to Scalebound, a Rapunzel retelling where the main character is hunted for her golden blood, is an exciting, fast-paced spice-free Romantasy book. With lots of twists and turns, this book is bound to keep you up thinking about it. With two amazing MMCs that make it hard to choose, you will fight alongside Aurelia and her friends as they fight to take down the forces that threaten their kingdom. 4 stars, would definitely recommend!

This book has everything: politics, wars, all kinds of dynamics, banter, dragons and more. It's a two perspective YA fantasy about Aurelia and her own war between duty & the heart. Additionally, I have to admire Logan's creativity of going into the lengths to create a whole new language for this duology.
I know it's very often compared to Fourth Wing or Tangled, but in my humble opinion.. If you loved Fearless, you will love this, too.

Like her first book, Scalebound, Logan Piercey had a good idea to iron out any final questions about the book.
Her writing style definitely leveled up with getting more visual for descriptions, however some of them felt very repetitive. I feel this book could have been a 4 star if it was a little more refined and didn't feel so rushed.
All in all it was a good read, I just wish she'd have taken a little more time to give the story the polishing it deserved.

I first read this book as a Beta reader and it was great. Reading the final product was Wonderful.
We meet back up with Aurelia in the continuation of her story and the exciting wrap up. Aurelia is now the Queen and with that comes new challenges and a learning curve.
The pacing of this story is a bit faster than book 1, since most of the world has already been set up on book 1.
Also as this is Logan's second book you can see a growth in the storytelling or at least I noticed it.

Did Not Finish

ARC REVIEW: unfortunately, I just am unable to finish this book. Again, I feel the author has so much potential and could really write a good story but the way it’s delivered, I just cannot get into it. I can’t follow the writing style and dialogue. The plot has not drawn me in and I really can’t even force myself to keep reading. :(

This picks up one year after the events of Scalebound. Now queen, Aurelia is trying to united get kingdom with the help of her friends. The character development was great and can see the growth in each character throughout the series. The adventure and trials help bring everything full circle!
