War! Vermillion’s false flag attack on Boise has lured the United States into war with Russia.
Edmund and his friends are dragged into the conflict and deployed to locations around the world. While they battle for survival, they discover that Vermillion is engineering the war to force the world into centralized, tyrannical control.
Battling robotic war dogs, sub-zero temperatures, and overwhelming odds, the heroes find themselves as the only ones who can avert nuclear annihilation and Vermillion’s totalitarian schemes.
Using his father’s Bitcoin stash, Edmund is able to secure a bastion of sanctuary should the world survive the war.
But what good is a sanctuary if the woman he loves, Brigid, loves another man?
With the odds stacked against them, and racing against time, Edmund and his friends come face-to-face with their own cowardice, vanity, fear, and an unquenchable rage at the evil war that they’ve been inexorably drawn into.
Rose comes into his own as a writer in this third installment. The pace of the storytelling is brisk, with just the right amount of detail. The battle scenes are intense. I enjoyed seeing the characters develop, and the plot twists kept the story interesting.
