I liked so many things about this book.
Dr. Hartman is clearly passionate about helping readers access the personalized healthcare information they need and take actions towards better health. The message of the book is encouraging and hopeful and I was moved to make some immediate changes that have been beneficial for the whole family. I loved reading about Anna's triumphs. His wife's health struggles were also included and added a lot to the book. It's always such a privilege when a writer shares their family's personal story and it really adds credibility to Dr. Hartman's message. The book is very resource rich. Definitely use the QR codes to access the additional resources. There is a ton of information there and really adds to the value of the book.

This book has truly opened my eyes to many important realities. I had always believed that doctors would exhaust every possible option to ensure the best outcome for their patients. However, after reading the first two chapters, I now understand that this is not always the case. This book has taught me the importance of seeking second opinions, questioning the options presented by medical professionals, and taking a more active role in managing my own health. Anna’s story, and the determination shown by her and her parents is deeply inspiring. It motivates me to advocate not only for myself but also for other children who may not have the opportunity to advocate for themselves.

You and Your Family are Curable
Dr. Aaron Hartman, MD of Richmond Integrative & Functional Medicine is a brilliant physician. He has helped three generations of our family to improve their health through his innovative approach to medicine. I am glad that he is sharing his deep knowledge of integrative and functional medicine by publishing this book. It is excellent. A must read. I hope that this is the first of many books that Dr. Hartman will publish. His is the type of medicine that is so needed in this country today.

A moving reflection from an experienced and dedicated medical professional, as he journeys from conventional to functional healthcare, sharing the profound insights he learned along the way.
This book put into words what I have personally experienced over the last 20 years of my own health journey.
An important wake up call for all of us, and a wonderful guide for those looking to take health into their own hands.

Empowering and accessible. From the perspective of an integrative medicine physician, Aaron Hartman shows you how to navigate the healthcare system and become your own best health advocate. He brings both a sharp intellect and a big heart - a rare combination in medicine, and both refreshing and inspiring. Highly recommend!

Dr. Hartman gives the questions to ask and guidance on how to further advocate for yourself when you are not feeling seen or heard by your doctors or specialists. It was a relief to hear from a medical professional that we don’t have to just accept what we are told. I feel much more prepared for my next appointments.

This book is a story of hope for those who have been gaslit and overlooked by the traditional medical system. Dr. Hartman’s personal journey to heal his daughter inspired him to look beyond conventional medicine and seek answers that benefit all of us.
