There's nothing I love more than a cowboy romance, they are my guilty pleasure and I absolutely loved this one. I want to live on Silver Pines ranch and ride a cowboy, I mean a horse..

Rising country star Cassie gets struck with a tragedy while performing. To give herself time to heal she decides to spend a month in Kentucky, where her mom and sister are. Haden is happy working on the ranch and tending to the horses, but then he gets swept up in a tornado named Cassie. They spent one night together and now, months later, they are stuck living in cabins that are next to each other. The chemistry they felt isn't gone, but will they let it burn again, knowing it'll only be temporary...

I really enjoyed myself. I love how Cassie's mental struggles were portrayed and the way the music Industry can pressure you. Both her and Haden had to fight with the expectations of others and in a way they really understood each other.

I kinda disliked Cassie at first, but I absolutely loved her by the end. She was such a compelling character and I loved seeing her journey of healing.
Haden was amazing, I fell in love with him so fast. The way he is with the horses and how he was there for Cassie was incredible.. He became her safe space and honestly the scene where he held her while she broke down was the reason I gave this a five star rating. The fact she felt safe with him to finally let go... Those scenes will forever be my kryptonite.
And the fact she wrote songs about him, that was absolutely adorable.

This was very much insta-lust, but I loved how it took them a little time to actually talk and fall back into each other again. It gave me the tension I desperately needed.

I loved the setting, it was so beautiful. I want to sit on that porch and enjoy the view and of course, spend time with the horses. I also adored the rest of the characters, I love a found family aspect. I need to read the rest of series as soon as possible!!

P. S. While I really liked the spicy scenes and there were quite a few of them, can we please retire the term milking from them. It makes me cringe so hard whenever I read it..

*Thank you to Netgalley and to Random House UK, Cornerstone for providing me with an ARC.*

This lighthearted cowboy romance was incredible, emotional and heartfelt! This is the fourth book in the Silver Pines Ranch series. The author did a tremendously wonderful job at writing this novel. It felt like I was in Silver Pines Ranch! It made me feel hopeful, reflective and relaxed. This book comes with a beautiful cover and a beautifully written story. This is definitely my favorite cowboy romance novel that I have ever read. It is a medium paced read, where it is character driven.

It has lovable characters, who were strongly developed! The main and the minor characters stood out to me. I love how it came with a mental illness representation in the book. It really made the story more realistic. This book doesn’t just come with a cowboy romance, but it also comes with a female country singer. The male main character rescues horses and is extremely supportive. This is a wonderful opposites attract, forced proximity and slow burn romance! This is also a very spicy one! I rate this a 4.5 out of 5 stars!

I think readers of emotional contemporary cowboy romances, that include healing, identity and found family dynamics, would really enjoy reading this book! Content warnings include grief, mental illnesses and explicit sexual content.

Thank you to NetGalley, author Paisley Hope and Ballantine | Dell for this digital ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

This book is expected to be published on November 11, 2025!

“The point is, I’ll always be here. I’ll be your safe place to land. No questions asked, princess.”

this book turned out to be such an unexpected good time for me, i really didn’t think i would enjoy it as much due to the tropes. Cassie is a bluegrass singer/songwriter that’s been struggling under the pressure of her manager, with the constant stress of needing to stay “relevant” in the public eye to further her career. Haden is a rancher at Silver Pines and works under Wade, basically one of his closest friends. Haden and Cassie have a one night stand, their connection almost immediate. but the longer Cassie is away for work, their feelings only grow stronger in the other’s absence.

“Thing is, I never doubted her strength. But when I’m around her, I really fucking question my own.”

they honestly started off a little too strong for me with how intense Cassie and Haden felt towards the other, but the time jumps really did help as they basically have to start from square one again once they’re reunited. i loved that this was more of an emotional story, Cassie’s trauma and Haden’s strained relationship with his father added more depth to their characters. there were so many little domestic scenes between them that was the cutest thing, but let’s not forget all the steamy scenes and Haden’s quiet authority in and out of the bedroom. i thought there’d be more of a conflict do to the fact that Cassie is Ivy’s sister, but I’m glad things went smoothly for them. all the previous characters being more present in this was so fun too, i just love all these characters.

many thanks to NetGalley, the author and Random House — Ballentine for the arc, all opinions are my own.

"But what about freeing the wild in you? No one is gonna do that for you. Only you can do that, Princess. You deserve to be free. And you deserve to follow your dreams."

Wow… this book took me on such an emotional ride. I had so many mixed feelings while reading it. My heart went out to Cassie from the very beginning, but I also found myself wanting to shake Haden more than once. He made a lot of assumptions about her, but honestly, I kind of understood why. He only knew one side of the story. Still, the moment he finally started seeing the real her? Relief. Pure relief.

Cassie’s journey hit deep. She’s been carrying so much weight, and watching her find peace in the quiet simplicity of Silver Pines Ranch felt so healing. 🥹🥹 And Haden… once that man let his guard down, it was impossible not to fall for him too. The chemistry between them was undeniable from the start, but what I really loved was how their friendship built slowly. The tension, the connection, the unspoken feelings… all of it simmered until it finally boiled over in the most satisfying way. (and TRUST me does it burnnnn 🥵)

I’m such a sucker for a found family vibe, and this on delivered that in the best way. Even though this was my first book by Paisley Hope (and my first in this series), I could feel how much love, loyalty, and support ties this group together. It made me want to go back and read the previous books immediately, and you can bet I’ll be reading the next one too.

Something about Cassie and Haden just sticks with you. They come from completely different worlds, yet they’re more alike than either realizes… both burdened by dreams that weren’t really their own. Watching them help each other heal and finally find what they want was so heartwarming.

Overall, Freeing the Wild was a spectacular read—tender, emotional, and full of small-town charm with just the right amount of slow-burn tension. I’m genuinely sad it’s over, but I can’t wait to dive back into this world again. 🤍😌

This might be my least favorite book in the series, but honestly? It was still really good 🤠🎶
The cowboy x country singer combo was fun, charming, and definitely worth reading. Even if it didn’t hit me as hard as the other books, I still enjoyed the romance and the vibes.

And now I’m so excited for the next book — I seriously can’t wait for Olivia and Asher’s story 😭💖✨

if you would have told me before reading this that a couple would beat ginger & cole for my top couple of this series (only by a smidge bc those are my babies fr) OR that i would love a music romance (my least fav sub genre) THIS much i would have absolutely died laughing in your face. like i knew going into this i was going to love, because there isnt a single paisley hope book that i dont but i 1000% did not expect to love haden & cassie this much 😭

these two had me hooked from start to finish, i was maybe two chapters in and already just SO excited for how much fun i knew i was going to have with these two. one of my favorite things about this book was that as fun and goofy as it was it also focused really well on mental health issues and getting help. i LOVED the way that once haden realized what was going on he was like “absolutely fucking not. eat, get your ass dressed and lets go.” like that man did not play about immediately getting his girl the help she needed and it was lovely to see cassie’s spark for life come back as she worked through her trauma.

i dont typically make it a point to mention/go over how spicy a book was in my reviews but my god. i simply cant not bring up how fucking hot these two were together, like this book had A LOT of spice compared to the others (imo) and every last one is gonna get ya hot and bothered, like they had me blushing multiple times through out with some of the things they were saying and doing bc it was just so hot 😂

i reread the first three books prior to reading FTW and it has gotten to a point where if i was given the opportunity to jump into a book world i would forgo all of my beloved fantasy worlds to simply be place in silver pines THAT is how much this series has stolen my heart two times over 😭

while im so excited to see what asher & olivia have in store for us im also really sad bc i dont want this series to ever end UGH (im only speculating theirs will be the last of the series, hopefully not but 😭)

Oh my gosh, I have to say, I didn’t expect to fall in love with Cassie and Haden this much. I fully expected this one to be my least favorite book of the series, but I stand corrected. This was such an emotional banger and an absolutely heart-wrenching story. I can’t even express how much I cried and laughed.

One thing I have to highlight about Paisley’s books is that they never feel repetitive to me, and I’m always eager to go back and get some more. I can’t wait to read about Olivia and Asher in a week’s time.

This is my sign to never doubt Paisley Hope. Because ladies and gents, she did it again. Paisley delivered another heartfelt 5 star ⭐️ banger! This series has quickly become one of my favorite small town cowboy romance series because Paisley truly writes a fantastic book with top tier witty banter, toe curling spice and tear jerking moments. And Freeing the Wild has everything in it that Paisley is known and loved for!

I fell so head over heels in love with Haden and Cassie! I was unsure of how I would about these two since they were minor side characters so far in this series but OMG, please do not sleep on these two! Haden is the head ranch hand at Silver Pines Ranch and Wade's second hand. Oh and did I mention this man has a mustache. A FREAKING MUSTACHE! I mean I will overlook that he's a blonde because the mustache gave him additional points. Cassie is Ivy's younger sister and when she is in town visiting Ivy after the birth of her baby, Cassie gets off on the wrong foot with Haden but they can't deny their attraction to one another. Yes, this is an insta-lust situation but their attraction and tension was so palpable from the page. And boy did they have a hot and steamy night in Haden's truck only for Cassie to peace out without saying goodbye. Like what an iconic move on Cassie's part. This girl had mind-blowing sex only to ditch Haden. I think the most iconic move that Cassie could have done was write a top country song about their time together. What a queen!

I loved both Haden and Cassie. I loved their personalities and how complimentary they were to each other. They both are slightly guarded and they don't trust easily. With Cassie's anxiety and trust issues due to her being in the limelight and Haden's abandonment issues, these two had a lot to cover come but they because each other's safe space and home. The way that Haden believed and supported Cassie was truly beautiful. And these two have such open and honest communication which is so rare to see in a romance book, which was so refreshing.

As always, Paisley delivered on the top tier banter. I loved their banter in every single scenario whether it was in a fun and flirtatious way or in tension filled scene, the banter was always present. The spice was fantastic as usual. These two had amazing sexual chemistry. This one will also be a tad bit emotional. Our boy Haden has no problem showing his emotion and let's just say whenever this boy cried, so did I. There is just something about an emotional man that cries in books that just get to me. But the declaration of love that Cassie did for Haden would make me cry.

Haden and Cassie truly deserved their happy ever after! I filled my soul! So besties, do yourself a favor and add this book (and whole series to your TBR!). This one was so binge worthy just like the rest of them! And Paisley, I am so anxiously awaiting Olivia and Asher's book!

You should most definitely read this book if you like:
- Small Town Romance
- Cowboy x Singer
- One Night Stand
- Close Proximity
- Instalust/love
- Snowed In
- Mental Health Rep

This is a really cute series and this installment was no exception.

Country music star Cassie returns to the ranch after a traumatic incident, ready to relax and recharge in Kentucky. Haden is the top ranch hand with a passion for rescue horses. After a steamy night together months ago, they are reunited at the ranch and as neighbors.

I really liked their relationship. Even though it started as a one night fling, they formed a serious connection. Their understanding of each other and the support they showed for one another’s endeavors was nice to see. They stood by each other even when it was difficult or meant time apart. It started off a little insta-lovey but quickly found its stride.

I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Ah, thank you so so much to Evermore for sending me an ARC of Freeing the Wild.

I'm truly obsessed with everything Paisley writes and have been since day 1. And this one is no different. We've seen Haden throughout the series but only here and there. And it was so nice to get a story for him.

He's such a gentleman and I love the way he loves. Whether it be Cassie, the horses he cares for, Penny, or the family he's found himself a part of. Despite his own family not being there for him the way they should, he has the biggest heart and loves so hard. And I adore that about him.

Cassie is equal parts firecracker and the sweetest human being you'll ever come across. All she wants is to write songs that other artists will sing and live a quiet life. Instead, she's being pushed by her manager to perform on stage because that's what will bring in the big bucks. After a traumatic experience at a show one evening, she realises she needs to step away and take a well needed break, and finds herself at Silver Pines ranch. Where her mother and sister currently live, as well as the one night stand she "fucked and ducked" 5 months prior.

The way these two care for each other and bring out the best in each other is beautiful and I adored them. Ginger and Cole are still my favourite couple from this series. But I loved these two nonetheless.

And next up, we've got Asher and Olivia, and I'm so freaking excited. 🤭

“If life gives you the chance for a one-night stand with a hot cowboy, take it, write a song about it, and make sure you use only the best notes, the ones that turn a single night into forever.”

There’s nothing better than a steamy little cowboy romance to cleanse the palate. Freeing The Wild is the fourth book in the Silver Pines Ranch series. It follows Cassie, Ivy’s sister, who is a singer / songwriter. Disaster strikes at one of her shows and she takes a break from the spotlight to recuperate at Silver Pines Ranch. She’s staying in a cabin next to Haden, the lead ranch hand. And Wade tells Haden that Cassie is 100% off limits. Hmmm… 🤠

This is probably my least favorite in the series, but only due to personal preference. I still really enjoyed this! I love this series so much as a whole, I just felt a better connection to some of the other couples. I think I’m just not a huge fan of the “popstar in a small town” storyline. Cassie and Haden were great and they did have good chemistry. Their romance is soft and calm. I really love that there is a simultaneous storyline happening, other than the romance, and I think Cassie goes on a really beautiful healing and growth journey. Haden too honestly! He’s such a sweetheart in the way that he cares for those around him, especially the rescue horses. I love the way all the cowboy’s in here are portrayed as masculine and dominant, but are total gentlemen and simps for their ladies (hehe).

I absolutely recommend this and especially the series as a whole. Grab a snack and a glass of sangria and binge away 🍷 Great to be back at the ranch and excited for the final book in the series coming soon!

“Oh, and Haden. This distraction… if she’s got you looking that deep in thought, she’s probably worth thinking about.”

Thank you to Paisley Hope, Netgalley, and Ballantine Publishing for providing this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

Spicy Rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
“I love you with everything I am, Cass …” His voice is a whisper against my skin. “Every goddamn beat of my heart is for you. You’re my every moment, Princess. Always.”
I wasn’t really sure what to expect coming from Wolf.e, which was one of the spiciest and dirtiest books ever, into a more rom-com-y cowboy contemporary romance. But I’m in my cowboy era, so I thought I’d give it a chance. This is the first book in the Wild series that I’ve read, and I think that might have impacted my reading experience a bit, because there are a lot of characters in this book from the previous books in the series, and at times, I struggled to work out how they all fit into the story.

I always wish authors who have these interconnected stories would include a family tree or a simple diagram at the beginning to help readers figure out whose book is whose. I wasn’t sure who were brothers, who were friends, and who were just people in the background. The more I read, the easier it became to understand, and by the end of the book, I knew exactly who was who. But right at the start, as that development wasn’t really there, I WAS CONFUSED... BUT that’s on me. If you’ve read all the other books in the series, you’ll probably already be in love with this world and these people, so you won't have this problem...

𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨:
The story starts chaotically with a wild meet-cute. Cassie is visiting her sister’s ranch after her sister has had a baby, where she stops by for the night. While on the ranch, she tries to get some content for social media. She persuades one of the ranch hands to let her ride a particularly wild horse, and after very quickly getting thrown off, Haden comes running to the rescue. Later that night, they run into each other again at a local bar and share a steamy little encounter in his truck. After which Cassie ghosts him and he’s left wondering who the mysterious woman was, only to find out it’s his boss’s wife’s little sister. A few months later, while Cassie is on tour, a horrific, tragic event takes place that leaves her with performance anxiety, grief, and PTSD. She’s unable to perform and chooses to take a break to spend time with family and figure out what she wants out of life. That means she ends up back at the ranch, back where Haden is... and he’s less than thrilled.

𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨:
What I loved about this was how deeply character-driven it was. There’s a lot that happens internally for Cassie from the very beginning. She’s a wild child, but she’s also heavily restricted by her career and her manager, who basically dictates what she says, does, and wears. She’s lost touch with what she wants. After the accident, she’s forced to hit a massive reset button, and she’s completely lost about how to find herself again. I just loved her overall growth and how she found herself by eventually freeing her wild again!

Haden, for all his grumpiness, is actually a sweetheart. He’s kind, generous with his time, thoughtful, sincere, and while he’s got his own family issues (mainly around his father’s disapproval) he knows exactly what he wants. He wants a ranch. He wants to be a cowboy. And now, whether he admits it or not, he wants Cassie. His mind might fight it, but his heart is already set.

I love that Haden is Cassie’s biggest cheerleader. He wants what’s best for her, and he supports her even when it means putting his own feelings on the back burner. He makes sure she puts herself first, something she hasn’t done in a long time. And yes, the sexual tension between them is real. Their encounters are seriously steamy.

I also really enjoyed the found family element. Once I figured out who everyone was, I could see how deep the bonds ran. This group goes beyond surface-level connections, and you feel it.

And I adored how mental health-positive this book was. Cassie knows she can’t get through everything on her own, so she gets help. She sees a therapist. The story doesn’t stigmatise it. In fact, it celebrates the fact that she’s brave enough to ask for help and pursue it.

𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙨:
▶ Celebrity Romance
▶ Forced Proximity
▶ Cowboy Romance
▶ One Night Stand
▶ Neighbours
▶ Cinamon Roll MMC who is sometimes grumpy
▶ Stalking (IYKYK)
▶ Mental Health Rep

and 𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙧𝙤 𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙨:
▷ "Greedy Girl" and "Good Girl"
▷ "You Taste Like"
▷ Washes Her Hair
▷ He Brings Her Food
▷ Takes Care of Her
▷ Steamy/Spicy Water Scene
▷ "Beg Me"

Overall, yes, this is a cliché story about a cowboy and a famous country music star falling for each other. But that’s kind of the point. We watch Hallmark movies for the same reason. It’s not about the what, it’s about the how. And this one stands out because of the way it shows Cassie’s journey.. It shows how she finds her way back after the trauma. And the fact that Haden helps her do that was just BEAUTIFUL!

Thank you to Random House UK, Netgalley and Paisley Hope for the gifted copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own

Your honor I love them. 100/10 absolutely no notes. This book is perfect. Instant top 10 of the year.

Have you just read a book that felt like it was written just for you, yo be just what you needed in that exact moment?

Because for me that was Cassie and Haden’s story. I love them. I’m in love. This book wrecked me while I thanked it for ruining my life in the best ways.

✨ Small Town Romance
✨ Cowboy x Country Singer
✨ One Night Stand
✨ He Falls First
✨ Trauma Recovery

This story. I can’t even put into words how much I loved this. These two were soulmates that found each other when they weren’t even looking. Two pieces of a puzzle that needed to be clicked together.

Haden is everything. The way he falls for Cassie, the way he shows up for her, and the way he lets her be exactly who she is just made me emotional. I spent this whole book all in my feelings. He’s the perfect blend of strong and vulnerable and Hot and I am sat for this man.

Ans Cassie. I love this wild country girl even when she is struggling to love herself and her choices. The mental health de in this is fantastic and I just want to wrap her in a hug and burn the world down for her.

Also as alway Paisley’s spice is top tier and blends emotion and being hit as hell seamlessly to tell a story. I was BLUSHING. Also strip uniform the win.

This book is fantastic!

Ranch hand Haden gets his book.
And with bluegrass singer Cassie (Ivy’s sister)

This was a fun cute cowboy romance.

I loved Haden. Green flags all day.
The horse rehabilitation 🫠

Cassie. I liked how she wasn’t the typical “music superstar”
I also think the trauma she endured added that extra level of depth.

J’ai vraiment aimé comment que Cassie a pris sa place dans l’histoire. Y’avait zéro moment toxique entre les deux et c’était vraiment rafraîchissant 🥹

Another great edition to the Silver Pines series & Haden is a damn dream.

Paisley Hope is an automatic buy author for me and this book is yet another example of why. She writes some of my favorite mmcs to ever exist.

Haden was grumpy at first but Cassie just brought it out in him. Once we got to know his character, he ended up being a cinnamon roll angel that I just adored. Cassie was a bit of a diva and was struggling with her mental health. She was quick to push people away which was frustrating at times but I loved seeing her growth throughout the book.

Haden and Cassie are two people who live very different lives. Haden is a ranch hand and Cassie is a rising country singer/songwriter. The attraction between them burns hot from the start and they just can’t shake the pull they are both feeling.

Cassie was supposed to be off limits and she was leaving town. So naturally one night of fun was all they needed to get it out of their systems… LOL. The truck scene in this book lives rent frickin free in my head. As does a lot of the spice that Paisley writes.

Dare I say this might be my favorite Paisley Hope book yet?! And hands down my favorite famous person/singer trope! Easily a 4.5 if I did half stars.

This story was so well done - the perfect balance of spice and plot, a relatable FMC, a totally down-bad MMC, and that found family we’ve all come to love (and desperately need more of).

I highly recommend reading this series in order. Paisley has done such an incredible job building each book off the last, making the world and characters feel more alive with every page.

I really enjoyed this one! I am learning that I like the one night stand trope turned to forever. And this one helped prove that point. The immediate chemistry. The experience of interacting together again. The pining and angst with knowing that the attraction is still there. And then waiting to see who will act on it first. Haden and Cassie did all of these things SO well. Both of these characters had the wrong idea about each other- Haden though Cassie was a snobby princess, and Cassie thought Haden was a player. But when they reunited and started hanging out more- they both realized how wrong they were. I loved watching Cassie come back in to herself after the trauma she had experienced. I loved Haden being that person for her and helping her realize she could live her dreams but also that her dreams may have shifted a little. I also loved how Cassie built Haden back up. He just wanted to be recognized for the man that he was not the kid he used to be. Cassie helped him see how wonderful he was. And man oh man did he know how to talk in the bedroom- just saying haha.

Cassie finds herself in Silver Pines to hang out with her sister and her new niece. She is feeling a little reckless and ends up having the hottest one night stand she has ever had. Because she has never had one. She doesn't know the etiquette here but knows that Haden made her feel things she didn't want to examine so she left thinking she would never see him again. Only to find herself back in Silver Pines as his neighbor while she recovers from a traumatic experience. How is she supposed to act around him? Why is he being so rude? How did her life change so quickly? Now she is having a hard time writing let alone thinking about performing. But once she clears the air with Haden things shift. Not just with them but in general. She starts writing again. She starts riding horses again. She takes.a step back from the expectations that are on her and just enjoys. And she wants to enjoy Haden again. There is a chemistry between them. A rightness that she has never felt. But she knows that her time here is limited. Sh has to go back on tour. So why not continue to live in the moment and enjoy this man. So that's what they do. They live together. They experience things together. They heal each other. And she realizes that her dreams have shifted. She doesn't want to travel the world for music. She wants to wake up next to this man who has helped her come alive every day. Now she has to prove that to him.

Haden has been focusing on work and his dream of opening a horse rescue. He hasn't had time for women. Until her. She shows up at the ranch like a tornado and catches his eye, and then they run into each other again that night. And Haden can't ignore this connection between them. So when she offers herself for the night he says of course. But then she ghosts him, and he has never felt so used. He was right about her. She was a spoiled brat. But then he finds out that she is his boss's sister in law. Something she failed to mention. But it's not like he is going to see her again. Until she moves in next door 6 months later after a tragedy happens at one of her shows. She looks like a ghost of the person he saw last year. Her spark is gone. And he can't help but want to get it back. So even though he reminds himself to keep walls up, he ends up offering to ride with her. He calls her out on moping. He pushes her to see the fire he saw all those months ago. And then he sees it. His Cassie is still in there. And yet she isn't his but the more time he spends with her, the more he wants that to be true. Because even though he didn't know her all those months ago, now he can't imagine his life without her. And so he decides to let go and experience her body again and again and again. Even though he knows she would never stay for him. She's got dreams and things to do. But maybe she will surprise him. Because one thing he knows is that she has his heart and he is a patient man.

This was a sweet story about a found family and a woman who needed someone to remind her what she was capable of. The connection these two had was electric. The way they built a foundation of friendship before fully reconnecting was perfect. I just loved the healing in this story. I love this world and am SOO excited about Olivia and our hot fire fighter man- can't wait to read their story. I would recommend this series and this book if you want a cowboy with some layers who knows how to treat a woman like a queen (all the men in this series do that actually!!).

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

2.75 ⭐️ Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing for this ARC!

I will say, I was a bit disappointed with this one. Nothing extremely wrong with it, but I do not think it lived up to the other books. It’s one of those books that is super fast and easy to read, but I felt like I needed more the entire time! There was barely any drama whatsoever and everything was happening either too slow or too fast. My favorite part about this book was the buildup for Asher and Olivia to be honest.

I think Haden and Cassie are extremely cute, but it lacked so much emotional connection and they were just like I love you! so fast instead of having a deep connection outside of the spice. With that being said, I do love the family dynamic this series offers (found family as well) and loved seeing their moments with the other characters! The friendships are so so special & I love that about this series!

Would recommend for quick & romantic read!

I was able to read an ARC of this. And I have to say that Paisley Hope is one of my top favorite modern cowboy romance authors. I will be so sad when the silver Pine series is done, but I know that she will come out with even more books that are even greater.

I didn't think I could enjoy this one more than Riding the High because I loved Ginger and Cole so much. But damn it Cassie and Haden were so perfect.

One night stand, he didn't know she's a popstar and he definitely didn't know that she was Ivy's sister. So when Cassie goes through something traumatic at one of her shows and comes back to live on the ranch, the tension between them is still there but she's off limits.

This book was really about healing and trusting yourself. The spicy scenes were a bonus, truly. But I didn't want to put this down because I was so invested and entertained by their story. I've heard Chasing the Fire is the best book in the series so I'll be be picking that one up very soon to do my official ranking of the series.

ARC provided by NetGalley

I was so excited to be accepted for this ARC because Paisley Hope is hands down my favourite cowboy romance author — and Freeing the Wild absolutely delivered!

Returning to Silver Pines Ranch felt like coming home. I adore these characters, and Cassie and Haden’s story had me smiling, swooning, and tearing up more than once. Their chemistry was beautiful — tender and sizzling in all the right ways — and the balance between emotional healing and romance was spot on.

Paisley has such a gift for writing cozy, heartfelt small-town romances with just the right amount of depth, charm, and spice. This one might be my favourite in the series yet, and I already can’t wait to have the physical copy on my shelf in November.

Tropes I Loved:

If you love ranch settings, emotional depth, and swoony cowboys — Freeing the Wild is for you!

Thank you Netgalley as well as the author for providing me with this ARC, in exchange for my honest review. This was Book 4 of Silver Pines Ranch Series and had all the best tropes: Neighbors to lovers, Cowboy romance, Small town. When I received this ARC I read the whole series and loved it! This book was great, however, #3 was my favorite thus far. Rising country star Cassie has a tragic event happen while performing and comes to a small town where her mom and sister live to lay low a bit and recover. Haden and Cassie spend one night together and are now living next to each other in cabins. Overall I love small town, cowboy romances however this didn't wow me like the last book did.

✨ARC Review✨
Freeing The Wild
By: Paisley Hope

“Everything about this woman oozes sexiness and confidence, but I know there’s more to her than her facade and tough exterior. Something deeper that calls to me.”

“You know you have the attention of every single man in this place, but you’ve got a secret just like I do.”
“Oh yeah? What’s that?” she asks
“You want me as much as I want you. The sooner you admit it, the better this night will get for the both of us.”

“But what about freeing the wild in you? No one is gonna do that for you. Only you can do that, Princess. You deserve to be free. And you deserve to follow your dreams.”

Can I please move to Silver Pines Ranch and live with all these characters?! Gosh, I am so happy to be back here. Cassie and Haden are another amazing couple to add to this crazy, loving, big family and I love them! They are absolutely perfect. And seeing the struggles Cassie goes through, and the growth she makes is inspiring! Haden becoming her person and safe space is heart melting. I just love it

This book was such a fun read, I love how we get to see the characters from the previous books and how there life is going☺️ I laughed, cried and there was definitely a lot of squealing and kicking my feet! This book follows Cassie who has a terrible thing happen in her life forcing her to go home to silver pines. This is where she has a night with Haden Westbrook, they both want more after that night but Cassie is leaving to go back to her life!!🤭
Thank you NetGalley, Paisley hope and her team for sending me this ARC to review. All options are my own!🫶
