When a slick development company sets its sights on Blitz, Maine, Lila Hart figures the biggest fight she’ll face is over zoning laws and parking spaces. But when frozen accounts, mysterious notes, and shadowy black sedans start appearing, it’s clear Eastman Development isn’t just after real estate—they’re after the soul of the town.
With her best friend Ruby, steady-as-a-stone Detective Mark, and half the town rallying over casseroles and coffee, Lila finds herself in the middle of a battle that’s equal parts legal and personal. As secrets unravel and danger creeps closer to her door, she’ll need more than sharp wit and warm cinnamon rolls to save the community she loves.
Lethal Lasagna is a cozy culinary mystery filled with friendship, small-town grit, simmering tension, and plenty of comfort food. Blitz, Maine may be small, but it doesn’t go down without a fight.
I love cozy mysteries, but this series is so much more than that. The main characters are exactly what you would expect in a cozy mystery, but they each have their own special twist. Something just slightly different than most characters in a light cozy mystery. And they aren't just contemporaries, they range from pre-teens, all the way up to 70+! The mysteries are just a bit dark, but just enough to get your heart beating a bit faster than normal! And just when you think everything is all said and done... there is just a little bit extra headed your way. I know that there are only 3 books in the series, but I really hope that Lucy Lemon will give us a lot more!
this book was cute. but for it being part of a series its kinda confusing, it talks about martha thorne who was in the last book and some Mr Vane who died in the last book? and its a cute read it just doesnt really seem like its actually part of a series
