Jenna Dutton left Berks to chase after big city dreams, but when she heads home for Thanksgiving, she's met with her nightmare.
Hunter Ryan.
The boy she would have given everything up for, if only he'd asked a decade earlier.
Hunter and Jenna haven't spoken since she left, but they discover they've remained entwined in one another's lives (for better or worse) and are forced to spend Thanksgiving together due to an unfortunate kitchen incident.
Told in dual POVs between 2014 and 2025, Jenna and Hunter are thrown together once again and must decide if their stars have finally aligned in this short and steamy second-chance romance novella.
I’ve been in a reading slump lately, not for any reason in particular but more because sometimes it’s easier to be a potato.
However, if you have one hour, a hot cup of your drink of choice, and a comfortable chair then give Neon Moon a go because what a great way to spend an hour! Contemporary romance is not my first choice for reading material, but this was such a well fleshed out book with complex emotions and characters with an incredible amount of growth and depth which seems like an impossible thing to achieve in 75 pages but this book does it! I love an emotionally vulnerable male character and can we talk about the quote that just did me in and made me love the MMC? “Someday, these Georgia stars are going to line up for us again, and I’m not letting you go a second time.” My. Heart. Five stars!!!!
Well, well, well. Look what we have here. 78 whole pages of USDA certified prime ✨yearning✨.
Hot damn. I keep telling myself that I'm not a contemporary girlie. I've got enough real world problems that I don't wanna read about someone else's but I'd be lying if I didn't enjoy this little novella. You know damn right that I'll be back for more Boots in Berks one-hour stories.
In all that is holy! This is a seriously deep rooted novella full of yearning and seriously hot spice! All tied up with a perfect southern drawl and down bad blue collar gentleman who dances with his girl by headlights. Hunter & Jenna are a force that time and distance can’t even contend with. I cannot wait for more from this series! 😮💨🤍
This was such a fun, quick second-chance romance and the perfect cozy read for my Thanksgiving. Even with the shorter page count, the author still managed to dig into some real emotional depth, which I loved.
And Hunter? Top-tier book boyfriend material. Absolutely swoon-worthy.
A sweet, satisfying romance that delivers heart, warmth, and just the right amount of feels.
Perfect if you want something you can devour in one sitting.
This book is the perfect short and spicy read! I am also impressed by the fact that I fell in love with Hunter in under 40 pages. This was just exactly what I needed right now.
