A chilling and emotional read told through letters written to Santa by asylum patients, revealing their deepest desires and traumas. Each letter pulls you in with its haunting realism—typos and all—which only add to the raw, unsettling atmosphere. The ending leaves readers on edge once again, with a shocking visitor at Cat’s door and the hint of yet another set of letters. Despite the darkness and pain, there’s a glimmer of hope that some of these broken souls might find their happily ever after.
