Danny's decision to move from New York to Salisbury wasn't difficult. It was a big change, but the need for a new outlook on life and less stress was enough to motivate her. Her first goal as a DNR research biologist was to assess the coyote population on the lower shore of eastern Maryland. Her height and field antics constantly provided her work partner Ricky with endless entertainment. Sandy was taken with the short, sexy, uniformed blond that showed up on her doorstep claiming there were coyotes in the area. She thought of numerous ways to meet Danielle Fine a second time, but never followed through. Lucky for Sandy, Danny's antics left her keyless and phoneless on a cold winters day.
I've been reading these novellas since "Slither" was published. I like the gentle, engaging love stories. Hopefully at some point, they will be collected into a couple of volumes. There must be an audience for them, since they are exceptional. Keep watching for more from the prolific D. Blake. I know that I will be. Nothing's quite as fine as a well told tale, especially when they are about women loving women!
