Sammie is grieving her brother who she lost a year ago. Tristan who is her brothers best friend, Halloween was Sammie's brothers favourite time of the year, which she now finds hard since lossing him.

Tristan is someone she shouldn't want, someone she should keep away from... But it's hard, especially when Tristan captures Sammie heart.

This is a beautifully written fast paced short novel, one which caught me hookline and sinker.

This storyline was gripping and makes you want more, the connection between these two characters is delicous.

The way this author has written this storyline and created het characters is amazingly done!

There isn't a book this author has written that I haven't loved!

I have read multiple books by this author and I have loved everyone of them!

If you are looking for a new author and amazing books then this author is the one for you!!

I seriously loved this one! It’s a fast-paced, packed little book and I need more! Tristan and Sammie had such incredible chemistry, this story kept us edged the whole damn time.

Sammie is still grieving her brother, who she lost a year ago, and Tristan just happens to be her brother’s best friend. Halloween is especially hard for Sammie since it was her brother’s favourite time of year. They shouldn’t want each other… but damn, they do. I loved how obsessed Tristan was with Sammie just as much as how she couldn’t take her eyes off him. The tension was off the charts, and I was so here for it.

That ending though ohh, it left me desperate for more! Britt is called our edging queen for a reason, and this deliciously addictive little read proves it.

Can’t wait to see what she gives us next. Thank you, Britt, for this ARC read!

The suspension, anticipation and tension in this story!!! I did not put it down. I was on do not disturb.


I enjoyed the magnetism between Tristian and Sammie. Britt earned her name ( Queen of Edging ) with this one. Tristian was a man that knew what he wanted, and what he wants is Sammie. Damn anyone or thing that gets in his way ( swoon)

Sammie was sweet and on the edge of being a woman who would take what she wants. She just needs a slight shove or two.

When Halloween will never be the same because of a loss you still try to celebrate it to the best of your ability, but for Sammie even after a loss this Halloween will be one that changes things. Sammie the fmc is the hockey coaches daughter, Triston the mmc is the captain of the hockey team. Their chemistry and feelings for each other are undeniable but due to their positions things are more complicated than just coming out in the open with their feelings. The plot is great and you want to keep reading, this is a short fast paced read.

This is a fast, appealing, captivating story. I love the obsessive streak that Triston has. Sammie is who he wants and won't let go. The tension is high, and at the edge of my seat level. And the fact that Sammie her dad doesn't approve, doesn't stop him even the slightest bit, just as the fact that sammie tries to deny she loves it and him.
Will they give in?

Even though this book has no spice, like we are used to from Britt, the tension makes up for that 100%. I love this book!

It's a good book. I love that it is short but is an intro to the series to see if you like it. Not a lot of spice in it but hints towards there being more to come. Throughout the book. You see the struggles that she is facing with a tragedy in her life but doesn't go into more detail. It gives you just enough to leave you wanting for more of the couple without leaving you hanging to much book 2 is out book 3 is releasing soon all available on KU at moment.

Triston stalks likes to stalk her in the dark and makes her blood pump with obsession over him. Sammie's dad has his usual Halloween party and he comes to hide in the dark corners to stalk his prey but Sammie's dad sees everything. Will Triston change his ways to please her dad or will he continue his stalking in the dark?
