Positives: The intro is engaging and I got to know a few interesting facts about Johnny Depp and his movies I hadn't known before.
Negatives: The writing isn't that great. Book turns a bit repetitive and dull as you read on. Would have liked to learn more about Depp's personal life or something we didn't already know about him than plod through the summaries and reviews of all his movies. Oh, and could have done without all the spoilers. Also, the appendices with the 'Johnny Depp is... this and that' was rather lame.
Overall, quite a disappointing read.

January 23, 2012I want to read this book because it has Johnny Depp in it. And, Johnny Depp is such a sexy babe that it will be worth reading. There should also be pictures that are very sexy, in which I would love to see. I think that has a lot of potential of me loving it. I love Johnny Depp and this book will make me even more obbsessed with him.

I loved reading this book. I felt like I got a sneak peek into this very human life. Johnny often felt like an outsider and misunderstood, but I felt like I could easily befriend him and connect with him (hopefully that happens ;-) You never know...

Just SAY Johnny Depp and I'm there! Not a great read but revealed a few things about the man I didn't know and interested in finding out. He has always been a favorite of mine from the git go, so reading about his progression for television to where he is now, was a fun read.
