I honestly didn’t expect this book to pull me in the way it did, but once I started, I couldn’t stop.
Abigail Stone is the definition of an ice queen—cold, controlled, and completely untouchable. She doesn’t do emotions, she doesn’t do attachments, and she definitely doesn’t lose control… until Taylor. And Taylor? She’s the exact opposite. Bold, fiery, confident, and completely unafraid to push Abigail’s limits. The contrast between them is EVERYTHING.
Their chemistry is absolutely insane. From their very first interaction, there’s this raw, magnetic pull that feels almost explosive. It’s not just physical—it’s layered with power dynamics, tension, and this constant push-and-pull that kept me hooked. The age gap + ice queen x chaos energy trope was executed so well here.
What really surprised me though was the emotional depth. Taylor’s character, especially with her music, adds so much soul to the story. The way her voice is described? Literal chills. And seeing someone like Abigail—who’s seen everything—be shaken by that talent made those moments hit even harder.
Now, I will say Abigail can be frustrating at times because her emotional walls are STRONG. But at the same time, that’s what makes every tiny crack in her control feel so satisfying.
The writing is bold, sensual, and very immersive—definitely not a “soft” romance. It’s intense, a little messy, and full of heat and tension that doesn’t let up.
I’m still thinking about it—and honestly? I’d read it again just for their tension alone.

No suelo leer libros largos pero mi chica me lo recomendó diciendo q estaba muy bueno..asi q decidí darle una oportunidad y vaya q sorpresa!..me atrapó desde el principio..me encanta la química entre ellas..es una historia fácil y rápido d leer y t deja con ganas d más! 100% recomendado

Se me hizo corto. La trama es algo predecible, pero me gusta que va al grano. El contraste entre las dos protagonistas es hechizante. Muy muy buenas escenas spicy 🔥
