Bratva Bride by Liz Archer picks up the intense story of Nadya and Konstantin where Bratva Bidder left off. Their baby boy is missing, their enemies are circling, and both are willing to scorch the earth to get their family back together.

There’s strong emotional stakes here: Nadya’s fierce determination to protect her children and family, and Konstantin’s role as protector in a brutal, unforgiving world. The threats feel real, the urgency is palpable, and the fight to reclaim their happiness keeps the pages turning.

However — while the tension stays high, the relationship growth doesn’t always keep pace. Some developments felt rushed, and the emotional pay-off isn’t quite as deep as I hoped after such a dramatic premise. The writing remains sharp and full of action, which is great for readers craving danger and heat, but if you’re looking for subtler emotional layers you might come away wanting more.

Overall? If you enjoyed the first book and want the next chapter of this dark, steamy Bratva romance, it’s a good pick. I’m giving it 3.5 out of 5 stars — strong on thrills, solid on passion, just a little light on emotional depth.

The perfect ending for this duet 🙂‍↕️

Meanwhile the first book was the slow rise to heaven for our MCs, this book was their slow and continuous descent to hell.

You ever heard of an unreliable narrator? Here nothing is at seems, keep your eyes open and your sense acute.

When you’ve read a certain number of dark mafia romance it gets to difficult to not see a plot twist coming. Because truthfully, there’s only so much plot twist you can invent before it’s just an idea you’ve unknowingly borrowed/replicated from an another book.

But here I was delightfully surprised, it was like playing the detective. Reading and looking from small clue trying to guess the ending, but even like that I still got shocked by a few revelations after the plot twist.

I won’t talk too much about our MCs throughout this book, so that I don’t spoil your experience. But let me tell you: they’ve been put through a grinder times and again 🥲

You won't need to wrap yourself up to keep warm when you start reading this second book in the Buryakov Bratva series. You are going to dive in this romance story and once again the characters Nadya and Konstantin will WOW you. You will rarely put your kindle down once you start reading this book by Liz. I loved how the book unfolded and ended. I strongly urge you to start reading this series today and start with book number 1.

This story takes you where the last one left off but it has so much happening that makes this an incredible book. This one brings in new characters that you can see are leading them each in different directions. But it does give you a look into the unseen or unheard parts of Bratva and Mafia lives.
Great characters. And it has a lot of twists that you never see coming.

We pick up where part 1 left off. Nadya and Konstantin are going through a turbulent time now that their son has been kidnapped and all around them. They endure betrayal, unrest, many twists, action, and a lot of patience with the necessary steamy scenes until they manage to overcome everything and their son is returned, so that together they can finally get their long and well-deserved peace.

Truth Untold

Picking up right where Konstantin and Nadya have lost so much, including their son being taken ramps up the suspense and danger. This second part of the series while darker also en compasses emotions of loss and what a parent is willing to do for their children. I absolutely loved how it all concluded as well as the surprising twists. It was definitely a fantastic story worth the read.

i feel like this book ended too abruptly. we never get to see the twins reunited and them all being a happy family again. we also don’t get to see what happens with the people who helped nadya and konstantin… how annoying.
alsoooo kind of not actually important but just something else that i noticed: i assume the woman on the book cover is supposed to be nadya, but nadya’s hair is always described as dark not blonde… 🤔

Trilling Read
